Thanks Pip, that all helps greatly. Unfortunately the camera is confusing me as much as I have tried sitting down with the manual. I find myself scratching my head thinking WTF.
Entrance N it is then!?!, have no idea but it's somewhere to aim for.
Will be hoping to see you in the line.......

When you set your MS settings with high speed burst, did you also choose image priority and 4:3 picture size.

I've just had a look and I don't think I can have done coz it doesn't look as though it's possible to choose, not on my camera anyway!

In your iA mode have you found the perfect combo of settings, alot of it is confusing me! Argh

I've got it set on picture size 4:3 10M, burst mode off, colour mode normal and face recog. on

Can you also remember where you sat at Wembley 2007, as your pictures were so good and that's where we want to aim for these Wembley concerts?

I know exactly where we were sitting! Block 125, row 7, via entrance N

    Hope that helps!

Thanks Pip I will check those out! We have GA tickets for both Wembley's, but would like to try to get L1 seats, but think I lack the stamina needed for really really close. So our half baked plan (so far) is for one of us to queue early for entry whilst the other queues to pick up the tickets at the box office. It is a major annoyance that they won't send the tickets to us in Australia. Grrrr. Where were yours for the 2007 Wembley as we would be more than happy to aim for that position? Does this sound a resonable plan....

    Hi Donna!

    I expect you've seen my London O2 pics/video.

Almost all of those were taken using the 'high speed burst' (not flash burst, doesn't do the job) mode. On the dial you have two 'my scene (MS)' settings. I set one of mine to 'high speed burst' (you just press the 'menu/set' button on the back of the camera to do that).

Any others I took just using the IA mode.

I love high speed burst because even though you end up with hundreds of pics to sort through after (I took two 8gb memory cards and a spare battery by the way, I did need to use both cards and both batteries) you are pretty much guaranteed to get a good number of great pics!

Obviously I was right on the barrier but even my Dublin O2 pics aren't too bad (although I concentrated mainly on taking video for that one) and I was right at the very back of the seating area for that one!

What type of ticket have you got for Wembley? I've gone for standing and will be one of the loonies queueing from early in the morning to get as near the front as poss!

    Hi donna

Well I've only been to Wembley Stadium once and I had reserved seating in level 1 and had a great view.

In theory ALL seats are 'good' seats in that no view is obstructed but of course some seats will be MUCH further from the stage than others so unless you can request a specific block (I don't know if you can) it may be better to opt for this new general admission ticket giving you the option of standing or level 1 seated.
If you queue early enough you should get where you want to be I'd imagine.

I'm 40 and have stood at many Muse gigs and queued for hours and hours to get to the barrier!

    Good luck!
