Gwen, was that post meant for me? I didn't mean you by it, I meant the others and I already notified Blee!

Daily Mash - reminds me of The Onion - http://www.theonion.com/.

No worries, right? A move can still be fun. Packing is usually when I find all those things I thought I lost. Reminds me. I've moved about 14 times in 8 years...that's a lot of cardboard boxes. Still have about a third of my possessions in crates. Maybe that's what I should do today.

Well, good luck with the move, and if you haven't seen them yet, there's some great photos of the new stage filtering through twitter and the forum. RedStar has a few up on his love boat.

Awesome words. Stumbling over effloresence at the moment and trying to figure out if I can work that into a conversation. I'm impressed you read so many. Most people I know stick to maybe 1 or 2 news sources.

Big holiday weekend around here, but I haven't got anything major planned. Already got a nice 5 mile walk in this morning. Doing anything fun?

Hope you're having a good weekend - Julie

Hopefully, Oct 2 in Denver by myself and Oct 5 in Mpls with my lazy friends. Do you read the New York Times at all? They pop up the weirdest words, not that you don't have other interests. I came across flummery, blatherskite, and gibble-gabble in their Sunday variety puzzle alone.

Have you caught any of the vids for their concert yesterday? It's not exactly like being there, but I got sucked into Uprising from the double neck guitar alone.

Extraneous? I tried to say it aloud a couple of times, but it keeps coming out funny. Just like 'mesmerized' and 'vague'. Some words I just can't say right.

I'm excellent today. I declared it a stress-free day in the library. With Muse about to kick off their tour later today, I'm expecting quite a few servers to crash with all the postings. Are you catching any of their concerts this year?

For some odd reason, the word 'convoluted' reminded me I haven't talked to you in a while. I was talking to a co-worker, and she blurted out 'I hate this convoluted database with all its dying links'. Couldn't remember the last time I'd heard someone say that.

Plus, got this out of an old science mag - "to dissipate distributed energy from enigmatic forces of unknown origin." Sounded so funny to me that its been stuck in my head all day.

Sorry for the rambles. How are you?

Exoskeleton instantly makes me think of super-geeky sci-fi fiction. My brother used to be obsessed with Mechwarriors or was that called something else. It was some kind of role-playing game that wouldn't die, and then it branched out into fiction. I had to hunt for them on his birthdays.

The date? Well, not so good. Briefly, we aren't all that compatible, or rather what he wants isn't what I want.

As for the twitpic, wish I'd seen it the same night they posted it. We'd just finished watching George Romero's latest zombie movie, and they left me creeped out and alone. I kept my dog nearby all night, except C growls at everything.

Hm, unfortunately, I haven't seen them in person. I hadn't become a full muser until of late. What's it called...a muse virgin? Bah.

Anyways - my favorite words vary depending on the day and who I'm around. Today, it's all vague, wuss, thrum, and dost thou. Although, I enjoy words that contain exo- and -morph-, like polymorphic. I usually end up writing odd words down on my arm, along with the usual notes, and by Friday, all the faded letters end up blending together into a new word - like nalomy.

Hey, did you see the last twitpic? There's all sorts of odd theories as to where the severed heads are from. General consensus is it's related to the Eclipse movie or their latest video. What do you think?
