    Hey!!!!

I'm terribly busy at the moment, so I hardly have time enough to actually write on here anymore. But indeed, we should appreciate this forum!
I hope, we can have another mad chat again soon!!! And I'll send you a postcard from London again, oh by the way, I just need your new address. Awww, if only you could come along to London with me. I want to see the changing of the guards!

Oh my, spring time has finally arrived here! Without any warning, we went from 5C to 16C in just one day, really crazy! I guess, those pigeons will go nuts now and we'll probably have many baby pigeons soon. So today I did some house cleaning. And I sold some CDs and DVDs on Ebay, altogether I made around 20 Euros. I just had some CDs of Shakira and some German bands I didn't really like anymore, the Shakira CD was a gift from a friend who thought that I shouldn't listen to that "depressing apocalyptic stuff" all day. Well, Shakira is kinda depressing and apocalyptic to my mind, after 2 songs you think it's doom's day...
Last night I was watching "Hullaballoo" again, I LOVE that DVD! I just loved Matt's outfit and hair during that time. I still love him today but I just found that gothic style so perfect for that time! My best friend at university was crazy about Marilyn Manson and Brian Molko at that time (she still loves them today). On campus there was a Marilyn Manson doppelgaenger, that guy really looked like Marilyn Manson (poor guy, lol). And there was also an English exchange student who talked like Matt and looked a bit similar to him, but just a bit. So we both were always harrassing those poor guys at parties, it was so funny!
I used to be closer to my parents when I started university. During my first 4 or 5 semesters I went home to visit them once a month, it was a 2 hours train ride, that was still okay. But then it got more stressful and now I really couldn't imagine it anymore (from here it would be 3 hours by train, train tickets are also rather expensive in Germany). I really need my weekends to calm down and have some time for myself or see friends. I used to be very close to my grannies but it has changed a bit. I've never been too close to my male cousins from my Dad's side of the family, it's a pity. But I like my female cousin (from my mum's side of the family). Families can be difficult. It's sad because sometimes I envy people who're very close to their entire family. I think, most Southern Europeans are usually very close to their whole families, Germans not so much.
My former flatmate from university (we're good friends, he's also a Muse fan) told me about a huge plastic owl he found on Ebay. He wants to give it to me because the crow isn't scary enough. OH MY GOD! A huge OWL for my balcony, my neighbours will probably call a doctor...
Oh well, now I'll start packing my bags for the day at my granny's...

LOL, we should definitely try to meet one day and confront our parents, we must be relatives, or our lifes are somehow parallel? So many similarities in our lifes, it's funny! "My" twin sisters are almost opposites in character, so they don't get along all the time but they also seem unable to live without each other, they call each other every day, but maybe that's normal for twins. I still hope things might change again between me and Chrissy, after all we've been close friends since we were 10 years old, such a long time! And we've managed to stay friends even when we went to university in different parts of the country. We'll see...
I was out at the Irish pub last night, there was some live music, a guy was singing and playing (guitar) songs by the Beatles. It was quite good, I like the Beatles. My friend and I had a Bloody Mary and a Cider. Another friend of ours is a waitress there and she was serving us, unfortunately she didn't have time for a chat with us, the pub was packed.
Oh my, next week will be busy! I'll pay a short visit to my granny (and uncle, aunt, cousin, great-granny) from Sunday to Monday. Then from Tuesday to Thursday or Friday to my best friend in another part of Germany (she's been my best friend since our 2nd semester at university), then I'll visit my parents (for my mum's birthday). I need holidays but I guess, after those holidays I'll need holidays from those holidays! Do you see your family regularly? Do you have any siblings? I'm an only child but I see my parents only 4 or 5 times a year.
Now I'll see if I can go to Myspace without having an account, I'd like to watch the Muse livestream from that special gig...

    Hey!

I'm glad, Hannah is fine again! The little daughter of my highschool friend (we've got in contact again when I moved here 2 years ago and ran into her on the street, she lives here as well, funny coincidence) has been constantly ill this winter, the flu, some ear problems, a cold... But now she's finally better as well, she's just 1 year old.

Oh my, this is really unbelievable! My best friends from highschool were/are twin sisters as well! Their star sign is gemini as well, quite funny. But like I told you, we've grown apart. I was only very close to one of them and she's that businesswoman, very serious and always very busy and ambitious. But if I see her we still talk. It's just not the same anymore, more like an old acquaintance.

I'm trying to reach my granny by phone but she doesn't seem to be at home. I'm worried about my other granny, she had a stroke and is in hospital now. I'd like to visit her on Sunday together with my granny (they live in the same village and she visits her every day, so I could just go with them). I don't live too far away anyway, just 40 minutes by train, but I don't have a car. Well, I'll go on trying now, she must be somewhere, probably hanging out with her new boyfriend, lol.

    Hi there!

How are you? I'm glad, your daughter has already got better! I hope, she'll all healthy again now? Oh, and I hope, you can sort out everything with the father. That must be hard, to have a child but not be a couple anymore. But anyway, you're a great person and surely a great (and crazy, lol) mother!

Oh, I know what you're talking about! Having problems with your best friend is the most depressing thing. Sometimes friends grow apart, that's the worst thing about getting older, I think. I've had it happen to me with my highschool friend, we rarely talk anymore, only 5 or 6 times a year by phone. It seems that we have nothing in common anymore. She's a business woman, very "grown up", serious and so on. I guess, she finds me childish and naive. But some friends last forever! I've made the best friends at university and we've been sticking together for 10 years now. I'll visit one of them from Sunday to Wenesday, already looking forward to it! So I hope, you can get back the friendship you used to have with your best friend! Sometimes it's just an odd phase, a misunderstanding or something like that.

The meeting with our landlords was okay, I think. But they're really weird. They want some kind of proof from us all that we're able to pay. Some kind of letter from our bank or our employer.

Oh, I feel so exhausted! I handed in the paper. I'm not sure if it's really good, please keep your fingers crossed for me, okay? I need to at least pass that course...

Hey, how are you? And how is your daughter? I hope, she's already getting better? And you're getting some rest as well?

I'm feeling a bit down lately, I miss my old friends and have lots of work to do at the moment (and can't seem to get it done, oh my). Last night I decided to go out with a colleague, we went to our Irish pub, had some fish&chips, a bloody mary, a glass of red wine and a cider. Today I have a little headache and I guess, I'll go to bed early tonight. This afternoon I called my best friend from university time, was really great! I'll visit her in 2 weeks, just for 3 days but I really need those short holidays and I just need to see my best friend again! We'll probably end up going out to some alternative club, to the cinema or just listening to some music at her place. There's nothing like good old friends, lol!

Tomorrow we'll have a talk to our landlord, he wants to talk to us. Oh my, I hope, it's nothing serious and he won't throw us all out? Our house is weird, our old landlord went bankrupt and so we belonged to the city for a while, not they sold us to a new landlord. I hope, we can all stay...

Yeah, it was that big storm! In Germany 6 people have died because of "Xynthia", mainly from falling branches or other accidents on the streets. Now the weather is quite normal again, it's even getting warmer, at least temperatures above 0C! But our apartment is just so annoying, now we're having problems in the kitchen. Whenever we try to boil some water or use the dish washer the electricity of the whole flat gets fucked up, lovely. At least our water is normal again, the pipes are just too old. Whenever there are construction works going on in our street we have brown water or the heating doesn't work anymore. Oh my!

Tomorrow I'll have dinner with an old highschool friend of mine, we'll cook something at her place and watch TV (Desperate Housewives and Vampire Diaries). She has a little daughter (1 year old) and we just hope, she'll sleep happily at about 8pm when we want to watch TV, lol!

Hey there! Oh, I also love walking by the ocean but I can only do that when I go abroad, lol. I'm always a bit jealous of my cousins, they live in the North of Germany at the Baltic sea. We're having a storm tonight, sounds pretty scary and you can't open the windows. Our flower pots fell off the balcony earlier but I didn't want to go outside and run after them.

Last night I had pizza and champagne at a friends', it was funny. We were watching the German Pop Idol, it was so bad!!! One guy was singing "Looking for freedom" by David Hasselhoff, I couldn't believe it! Then we had some red wine and I spilled it over her WHITE couch. Oh my, I felt so bad and stupid! I tend to talk with my hands and it gets worse when I'm drinking alcohol. We tried salt but it didn't work, we might try some chemical bleaching stuff. Do you know anything to remove those nasty stains?
