Haha yeah, I saw him do it at Reading. TBH, my friend and I were shouting "Throw it! Throw it! Throw it!" When we saw him swinging it around. xD
Yeah lol, I feel sorry for Hugh sometimes...I bet he's proud of those guitars! Aww Like wise with my Pacifica. It's my first guitar but it was second hand so it looks like it's seen a few gigs already.
I don't really know, all I know is it smashed when it fell off a tower
And yeah, he smacked the DL1 into Dom's drumkit at both Leeds and Reading If I were Hugh, I'd be pretty pissed, then again I bet he charges for repairs I'd never throw my Strat, I worked all of last summer for it and she's my pride and joy
Trololololol...I'm a completely different person once you get to know me though.
The original Glitterati would be my second fave...then I think it'd be Blackie afterwards. I know what you mean about it falling off the stage xD I saw him throw it at Wembley and was like at first then realised it has invincible glitter so it should be fine xD Do you know if it was used between Wembley and the gig it fell off the tower by any chance?
I just love the fact that everytime he gets a new guitar these days, he has to throw it on it's first gig.
I'd say the Glitterati's my favourite, the original one. Ironic that it met its end by falling off the stage, judging by how Maffoo treated it prior Glitterati, Ali Top and M1D1 are my favourites, I'd say. At one point I was thinking of building replicas of all three of these
Aww. To be honest...I didn't think it was when i looked at it again...the one in the video had a massive chunk taken out of the finish on the front, which wasn't there on the one in Mansons.
Hahah yeah, some of them looked too cool to get smashed up. I really liked his old orange Londaxe and Ibanez Destroyers (I'm an art student, and I find weird looking guitars (or things in general) appeal to me more than a bog standard Strat for example). I also hope he still has the Laser Manson somewhere, as it's my favourite!
Hahaha yeah, I'd like to see it on display too. If only to see that finish close up.
afghsjeygfkawvevrfayeft I'm so anti social I rarely talk to the staff unless I'm looking for something...I'm too shy to talk to them casually...I keep thinking they might get fed up of Muse fans walking in and stuff...
Oh they are! Mine's a 1966 in it's original Java Green paint job. Tax extempt too! Thing is, I, not learning to drive atm because ALevels raped me of all the free time I had, and I still haven't got round to getting any lessons yet so it's just been sitting outside the house barely used unless dad decides to drive it. Thought it'd be better if I sell it on, and spend the money on something I can use then buy anouther car in the future once I've learnt to drive.
Yeah, above the steps, that's it. Tim and I had a good natter afterwards, and when the topic turned to that JT-Res he said it wasn't the one used in the video I like to think Matt kept all those old guitars though, like the JT, that old yellow Gibson LP DC with the tape around the edges, the SG with the vibrola, all those good old things. I know he's still got the Delorean though
I only wish they'd put the Glittewati on display beside the M1D1. I asked Tim about that too, and he said it's up to Matt, but it's hanging up in the workshop right now. I asked to see it, but he said Hugh'd kill him
Lucky, I want an MB1 so much. I want a VW Beetle too, brilliant little things
Ikr Got them in Florida when Universal Studios still had a BTTF ride. Omg that'd be epic! But you don't have to.
Is that the one that was above the steps? I've seen that one too, and I think Adrian said that was the actual one used in the plug in Baby vid. Not entirely sure if it is definately it though. I love Mansons, I go in there whenever I get the chance (I live in Exmouth, which is only 30 mins away from Exeter) then have a look round in The Real McCoy afterwards. :P
Awesome! Dad and I met Hugh at the Guitar show last year, he's a really nice guy but so damn tall and I got to play the MB-1 there too
Three 1:24s from each film, that is awesome Aw, if I ever see a Hotwheels one again I'll pick it up for you
I saw a JT-Res hanging high up in Manson's last time I went. I love that store so much, I wish I lived closer so I could visit it more. First time I went, I met Hugh and got to play the MB1
I got my Strat set up by Tim, too. I know him and the staff do work for other customers as well, but it's still cool to tell people "my Strat was set up by the guy who built Matt's doubleneck" and they're like ""
