what is with the nearly L#11 charge to deliver a single song via email link to the USA? did I miss something that they are sending a special disc for NSC(LIF)? I'm pretty sure the MKhristmas delivery was Warner Bros via email link and I would think the MP3 for the new song would be the same. but it automatically comes up with a courier charge. I know WB has to pay for the servers and routers and such, but they probably have interns doing all the actual work :p so where does the additional L#9.70 go?

I think it's just a mistake that they're working on. An mp3 shouldn't require a delivery charge. They're bat-shit cray cray! :LOL: Seems like this came up once before recently. That store has issues! I'm gonna wait and hear the song first before I decide to buy it. :p

Yeah, that can't be right. Looks like someone else posted the same question in the store support thread, but for a different mp3.

I'm waiting, too... I thought the little play button would unveil a clip, but nadda.

Hi everyone! :p I never thought to consider American Muse fans "international" before... but I guess it does make sense, now that I think about it ;)

Anyone else from the Northeast around here? :) I'm from the good ol' state of Maine (although I haven't been there for almost 5 months because I've been studying abroad :LOL: but I'm going home in less than 2 weeks, so then I'll be a "real" American Muse fan again ;) )

BTW, I was browsing through the last couple pages, and I have to say that no one is allowed to call themselves old! As far as I'm concerned, you're not old until you FEEL that you are. Therefore all you're doing is aging yourself :p

For a year, I am going to a community college in SD. I spent a year in kansas, and that was enough so I have transferred to do my second year (maybe third if I cant graduate in time cos not all my credits transfer) then transfer again and hopefully get a tennis scholarship because if not im coming back to England :LOL:

Do you love them more because of that?
How many State fans are there? How many of you have traveled out of the States to see them.

I honestly don't think it matters where they are from, what matters is the talent, but their looks also do them good.

4. Many. I've flown to Arizona twice, Las Vegas, and London to see them.

To add on to the first question: It's not like I go out looking specifically for a foreign band and decide I'll like them. I'll get into a band if I think their music is great to listen to and if they happen to be from another country, cool!

I used to like primarily international bands but that was cause I really didn't know of too many American bands that captured my interest. Now, I listen to many. Many of both. Like Liberty said, if I like them, I like them!

That should be an easy resolution to keep! I do like Spotify for listening to albums/songs in full before I decide to buy them. I think they're gonna start charging soon, though. :(

Happy New Year, Americanos! Any upcoming plans?

It sounds lame, but I'm just excited to have a weekend all to myself. I've been out and about way too much these past couple of months and I just want a relaxing (albeit drunk) weekend at home. :yesey:

I'm excited to have this whole week off. :yesey: As for New Year's, we have no plans. Well actually, our 8 year old has been invited to a classmate's house for a kids New Year's party. I don't know if she can make it until midnight w/out turning into a demon, but at least maybe hubby and I can go out to dinner. Generally I despise New Year's. Too much pressure to have fun, and if you don't, you feel like you're missing out on something. Historically, it's been a bit of a pisser for me. I think it's mostly because I'm sad Fall and the fun holidays are over, and I dread Jan/Feb because I hate winter/being cold. :indiff:

I agree about the pressure. I avoided all the stuff on tv about it. That seems to help. Although, my favorite New Years was rushing home from a crazily delayed flight just in time to see the ball drop on TV. It was the last time I went out of my way to watch it. Loved it. :happy:

I agree that there is too much stress on people to go out and party and do stuff. I went out with some family and watched a movie and had a nice dinner on NYE. Then I stayed up, made lemon drops until 11, watched Cowboys and Aliens and had a few glasses of champagne. Fun night in with friends.

I have no plans,except to stay up past midnight. Sad that my vacay is almost over, though.:(

It's been a warm winter here in California. Sure, there were some mornings where I had to scrape ice off the windows of my car, but not once did I have to wear a heavy coat. Today felt like a beautiful spring day. I don't really mind it as it was great weather to be out and about in, but I want winter! :(

it's been pretty much the same here, but i don't mind it at all. it's been as high as 60 degrees recently.

Nice! We're practically neighbors. Well, not really, but I'm there about once every week for work. Napa closed most of its rehab centers and we have to utilize ones in surrounding counties and one popular one happens to be in San Mateo. So I meet with one of my clients there every week.

It's been crazy warm here, like close to 70 some days lately. Then we had a hard freeze for a couple of days, but it's supposed to the be in upper 50s and 60s all this week. :awesome: So that's unseasonably warm but I love it. I hate freezing, esp. when I get up at 6:30 and it's still dark.

In Eastern PA, we had a couple of painfully cold days last week with wind chills is the single digits! Thank God it was only 2 days! Then it went up to 50 over the weekend. It's been in the 40's the last 2 days. I'm not complaining either. :) And yea, the thing I hate most about Winter is having it be dark when you go to work, and dark when you get home. DE-PRESSING! :LOL: I'll be happy if we get no snow at all this winter -- although we did get a freak storm at the end of October, and had no power for 5 days. That sucked beyond belief!!

I'm in Atlanta, so it's definitely normally warmer than Ohio in January, but this is just crazy. It was 70F 2 days ago! This time last year we had an ice storm that literally shut down the city for a week because temps never went above freezing. Normally it's somewhere in between. I'm not complaining, though. I get moody when I'm freezing. I just hope the plants don't get confused. I'm a bit of a gardener. :nerd:

I just tried that photo insert, and the pics don't show up in "Preview Post" -- whereas they do when I insert a youtube video. When you post a pic, does it show up in Preview Post? Or does not being there not mean that it won't show up when I hit "Submit Reply"? I'm a hopeless bimbo. :$

Right click is the same as Ctrl Click I think. You should also be able to set right click, unless it's a very old Mac.

Right Click/Whatever click. View Image (unless the image is on its own page already). Copy the URL, go to the post and to the image embedd button, and paste the url. It should show up in the preview.
