I don't know much about them...
I have one of their albums, "Aqualung" I think is the name (I lost the booklet thingy inside).

How many are there in total?

I think 2?

The first album, and then Still Life (I think that's the name of the second...).

Ah...
I'll probably have to download the stuff.
They're completely unknown here, and I've never seen anything by them on sale.
The album I have I got when I went to England last summer...
I suppose no one could upload their copy of Still Life somewhere for me to download, eh? :D [/begging]

That's brilliant, thanks! :D
I don't like the files' format, but I'll record them and convert them into MP3s.
Many, many thanks.
I really didn't suspect that their actual albums'd be on their site free of charge...
Once again, thanks a lot :)

They were OK live supporting Feeder, a little bit dull though I thought. I have downloaded a few songs though and they seem pretty good, I love Strange and Beautiful and Brighter than Sunshine, but the piano love song after piano love gets a bit samey and dull.

Best of that genre (yeah, screw genres but it makes it easier to praise Aqulung as much as they truely deserve). I'd heard two songs, and was already hooked. BRILLIANT! :D Not so fond on Strange and Beautiful after so damn long.

Aww it's great to see so many people loving Aqualung - brings a tear to my eye! :o)

The one comment that stands out from everyone is how great they are live. I've seen their previous incarnation (The 45s) many times but *sniff* Aqualung only played their first live gig a couple of weeks after I left England.

I saw Still Life in a mainstream music shop here in NZ and it wasn't on import so that surprised me! A lovely friend bought me both the albums in England anyhow.

I just got back tonight from their gig! FLIPPING AMAZING!

Matt is my GOD!

His wife (and writing partner) was there and for the last three songs she got up and sang with. I"f I fall" was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard.

PURE class!

*faints with joy*

Aqualung is coming to my town end of May. Does he have a full band live, drums and all? Since the last muse show I can't get "can't get you out of my mind" out of my mind.

The album with that song is self titled,"Aqualung" and yes the rest of the record is amazing. Plenty of beautiful, introspective, piano and vox, love songs...I have soft spot for sissys :$

I went see his live last night. :D
It was an amazing show ... he sounded much emotional (in a good way) than his CDs, and there were moments I could sink myself into the music.

[edit]I found 'Tongue Tied' music video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4P7WZwK0QY) with a movie called 'My Life Without Me'. It's a beautiful song.
