Which thread was this, the NSC thread? I kept seeing disappointed status updates or comments from my Muser friends about the clip earlier today. I seriously only saw one person who liked it. But maybe that says something about the Muser friends I have.

Oh, it's the PMT thread. I just apologized about it a few minute ago. All of them said "It's so cool!" "So awesome can't wait for it!" "I love it!" and I'm the only one who just popped in and said it's cheesy and they all replied at me like... they don't agree or something. I was just being honest though... im gabriel... i was surprised that there are many fans of muse in the philippines but not enough to make muse tour here... muse is not famous here in the philippines...their music doesn't appeal to filipino masses...but still.. im hoping for their tour in the phil.

A ako kaya ko nagstick in sa Muse dahil mix of rock and electro sila. Eh yung dalawang yun ang favorite kong music genre. Saka maypagka classical sila at yung style nila maypagka 'space'-cy parang lulumutang ka sa langit! lol :p At maganda ang mga subjects nila. Aliens, government conspiracies and a bit of love XD

No, for the most part, they haven't been choosing different songs every night - that's the whole beef. Check out the Resistance Tour thread (http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=67376) and catch up on what you've been missing. MK Ultra was only played nine times (out of 20-something dates) the entire North American tour; Ruled by Secrecy was played only twice; and they only played Bliss once.

Here's where I've been getting the statistics for the tour. (http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?p=7623572&highlight=ultra#post7623572) Notice on many of the gigs, it says "see (this place)" - meaning they've been recycling setlists. Musefail.

I think so. Japan has a humongous Muse fanbase. Try mo siguro sa record stores, maybe they sell shirts there? Sa HMV sa Singapore nagbebenta sila nun kaso wala nang sizes nung naghanap ako :( uso kasi :p hahaha

Matt wrote that song right after he broke up with his long-time girlfriend, according to an interview. And Muse has been on this trajectory of music for quite some time now.

To me, it's a new low for the band in terms of the quality of the songwriting. Poorly written lyrics mixed with a concoction of recycled stuff from their past songs ("Snowflakes in the ocean" instead of "droplets"; KoC rhythm during the verse; cheesy USoE-reminiscent intro). It's not so much because of Twilight as much as where Muse is setting themselves up in their careers, really.

Sorry for not being active anymore. I still love Muse, but my obsession has taken a much-needed vacation. It got too tired after my massive hype following the Singapore gig. I long for new Musey stuff that will bring it back home.

That Neutron Star shiz didn't impress me much. I haven't even found the drive to see the video. I hope that it's not going to be the direction they will be taking in their next album. (hmmm. More UD-ish tracks, rather? A Lady GaGa collaboration, maybe? Hahaha!)

An office mate found this photo on the current issue of Playboy Magazine Philippines and showed it to me. I freaked out! To my excitement, I called the Aranet Coliseum to verify if this is a true banner and not fake. The perky customer service representative told me that it is a real one and Muse, Phoenix, Kings of Leon, Bloc Party are some of the bands that are pencil booked for next year! O-O-O-O-O-O-OH EM GEE! Haha, buti nga ngayon marami nang fans e. Siguro dahil na rin sa Twilight. When I became a fan in 2004, mabibilang ko sa isang kamay yung kilala ko na may alam sa Muse dito sa Pilipinas (kasama na doon yung mga nag-introduce sa akin).

Ginagawa ko na lang nun, nung high school uso pa yung mga mix CD, nilalagyan ko ng Muse songs tapos pinapamigay ko sa friends ko. But those efforts never really made a hardcore fan out of them. haha. :p

Ngayon masaya na ko kasi marami-raming tao na rin ang nakakarelate sa pinag-uusapan ko pag minemention ko yung Muse. Hehe. :D
