the thing is tho Sheffield is fairly shit for music if you cant get into the Leadmill(18+) or the University venue, like me, occasionally good stuff is on at the Arena but i usually dont notice till too late
I've went to the Leadmill a few times before I turned 18. My friend saw Muse there when she was 16. They usually don't give a toss unless you try buying drinks underage. I love the Leadmill. <3

I got dragged along to a Tom Jones concert at Wembly once we i was living in London like 5/6 yrs ago... We don't talk about that... Yeah and that just about concludes the oh so great long list! Oh and i got to see Youngstown when i went to a premire of some shitty film... they were crap... We don't talk about them either...
Nobody decent ever comes to Spain, its so sucky!!! Although I do have Muse tickets for the 18th in Granada! :D Yay! Some poor fool invited me to go with him, lol. 13 days to go... I also wanna see Incubus, they're playin in Madrid soon now all i gotta do is bribe some bugger into coming with me...

Erm, my first gig was Slipknot in Belfast 2 years ago  but they were entertaining in a stupid way. Then I got dragged to Korn in Dublin 2 weeks after that, which was one of the worst experiences of my life. Then Marilyn Manson and Muse in Manchester last November and Muse at the Olympia. Well the 3 good gigs outweigh the bad ones so w00t!

too many times may not be the right words but in 2002 they did this tour through holland and they played like 20 gigs and i was getting addicted to them so i saw them 11 times i think, but it was a shame that at some gigs only 20/30 people showed up, but they also played really small venues sometimes. but now i havent seen them for a long time, they should really come back! and tour the uk and some other countries

That is one lucky friend. I just think the whole atmosphere at one of their gigs would be immense. And the sort of raw, uncomplicated rock riffing would be so good live.
Fuck the split.
Think im going to go see audioslave on the 21st of June, closest i can get.

She's seen so many cool bands or bands who are no longer with us.
I am jealous that she's seen Rammstein.
There are new Rammstein dates for this July, if you are interested:
14.07. Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena
15.07. Birmingham, NEC
16.07. Glasgow, SECC
18.07. Cardiff, Arena
I'm half tempted by Cardiff, as they were awesome when I saw them in Feb.

First night was really enjoyable for me...probably because I could pretend I was "important" and was with my best friend plus the other moderators. Although musically I don't think they were at their best...was just a really cool night.
The second night, the one I paid for, as irony would have it...WAS SHIT!About 5 songs into muses set we all looked at each other and walked out, we had loads of fun at the back dancing like loons etc. though - was a good night.
But nearer the stage seemed to be full of main-musers surging to grap matts arse, then saying it was a good pit - thats not a 'pit' thats people surging forwards!
Remember that all off by heart?
Got it typed up :P

i know i've seen Placebo, Muse, Feeder, the Moldy Peaches, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Strokes, the White Stripes, Alk3, headliners and whatnot at festivals and other than bands that, the tickets on my wall are for..
Adam Green, McLusky, The Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster, Soil, Placebo, The Faint, Stellastarr*, JJ72, Murderdolls(pity me!), Amen, Greenday, Muse..
of course i've seen supports/unsigned/others, but my memory is nothing at the minute and we don't go to gigs so much anymore.
i've also been to Brampton Folk Festival... plenty fun was had there.
edit: i've also been to a one-day festival thing in newcastle, on rumours that feeder would be playing.. and it was £1. there i saw steps, blue etc. no feeder though..

Were Jimmy any good?
Theyre alright, bit too much of the whole chatting about crap to the crowd but then that could just have been to cover up the fact they played a short set. Few bits where really good, im not their biggest fan though - so got bored with a few of the songs.

Maximo were pretty good, it was before they released any single and i didnt know any of their songs but they impressed me and i thought they may get big and BLAM they are  Kinda same with futureheads (but the album had just been released) they shocked me as i didnt expect them to be so punky and lively and funny to the crowd. But i liked them both.
Well futureheads was free and backstage passes so you just dont turn that down ;)

I LOVE the Icarus Line. Eagles of Death Metal were ok, not really my thing though. But the Distillers were one of the most hopeless live bands I've ever seen.

I agree. They really don't do anything for me...and the number of Brody-wannabes in the gig I saw was hilarious. Plus they were all singing Hole songs in the que...I've never seen a bigger collective group of cliches in one place in my life!

I was dragged to the gig by my girlfriend at the time. I never knew who the support was so that was a pleasant surprise. But the Distillers... I actually ended up chatting to someone at the side and forgot I was even at a gig.

Dont worry love, it`s only because I dont have one. :(
BUT....
I`m like Carlsburg see...
Tom doesnt have a band, but if he did, it would be the best band in the world. (dont argue it`s just fact). We`d rock so hard it would break stuff, and we`d have YOU at the top of the guest list and you`d rock the casbah when I dragged you up on stage and made you glow stick funk it in just your skimpies.
