well, in a reverie is not that bad, but sounds more like an EP, there's something 'unfinished' about it

Oh ive listened ive got all the songs, just ive gone and bought the albums except that one.
My favourite song is Halflife. I know Falling is a good song but I fail to see the massive fuss over it

I heard one of Lacuna Coil's songs the other day on scuzz, and it was a strange mix of music. It was deffinitely a change, using a female singer for the choruses, and the a male for the verses. The music seemed pretty good, but the female singer kinda reminded me of "dance" music, repeated lyrics, and sung in the same way :mad: . I did some research, and found out they were italian. Basically I was wondering if anyone has got a past albums, and could give me some feedback on them,

They opened for P.O.D. back in June; I was quite impressed (though they were louder than any of the other bands; very hard on the ears).
I like them :)
"Heaven's A Lie" is a top song :D

Comalies is a good album, i guess. I heard it a while ago and copied few songs that i liked. But now i don't listen to any of their songs except for Unspoken and Heaven's a Lie. The other ones remind me of Evanescence too much and they're not Mars Volt-ish enough for my taste :p
But it really depends on what kind of music you like

i'm only heard of lacuna coil cos they're next to kyuss in my local music shop.

I just went to an amazing show tonight :happy: they did a special acoustic set as well as a full metal set. Pictures to follow if they came out any good.
They sound so much better live than on cd, just a much more full on sound.

No, he was quite serious when he said that, that's why I found it so amusing. I still think they should be shot for ruining an amazing song, there's a much better remix of ETS with distorted electric guitars which sounds so, so much better, but then, she clearly doesn't have the voice to pull it off.

maybe Lacuna coil's Enjoy the silence isn't the best single ever but who cares? Cristina has a voice of a godess (unlike some other fine "artists":D ), Depech Mode is one of the pioneers of todays rockmusic, ...
Have you ever heard the scala version of Muscle Museum?? It's horrible! I'd rather eat shit than listen to that one ever again! :eek: that's raping a song!

She doesn't appear to really have the typical goth/emo overdone makeup thing that makes every girl look ugly as fuck.....maybe that's just me...
I dunno, I think goth girls look quite fit. :) Each to their own I suppose.
Anyway, this is supposed to be about the music. :LOL:
In an issue of Kerrang there was an interview with her and Matt Tuck from BFMV all dressed up to the nines and that was rather 'phwoar'!
And imo, she has a perfect face. Reminds me of Kate from Lost.

Lacuna Coil are quite boring..
to me they sound like radio music, but speeded up and with more guitars.
Concerning gothic metal my first choice is still Tristania.

I've discovered them only recently, and I must say that Cristina's voice keeps me positively entranced
Karmacode is one of the best albums of 2006 (in my humble opinion)
All songs are awesome, but I simply ADORE Without Fear :happy:

He can't sing though. It's nice to have variation, but they should get a real singer for that. He should at least sing in fewer songs.

saw them last night at HMV forum, amazing gig! (as usual from them)
after the gig was epic though, raced through london, missed my last train home, so went back to the venue to see if i could meet the band.
got there, band came out about 10 minutes later, so got to meet them all (apart from one of the guitarists as he had had a bit too much to drink and had gone to sleep already! :LOL:) and get signatures, plus photos with Andrea, Marco (bassist) and Christina, and then got a hug off Christina :D:happy::D:happy::D:happy:
