I love Billy Talent. The guys are so great, and nice and everything like that. I'm wearing my BT hoodie right now :)
Also I think for someone to have an opinion on this band you mut have listened to the album, and not just heard their singles. I think you'll find that Try Honesty and The Ex are possibly the worst songs on the album. There are much better songs, ex: Standing In The Rain, Voices of Violence, River Below, etc.
Also if anyone gets a chance to hear old BT or Pezz you should defenitely listen. It's extremely hard to come by, but it's soooooo good.

edit: I'm not sure about festivals, but they are doing a European tour starting on the 8th I believe so you guys should try to see them if you can!

right so im a teen, so therefore i must have a shit taste in music because i say that i like one band that are perhaps 'aimed' at a younger market...

get over yourself and your 'im so good because i have a better musical taste', you dont, you just have a different one so get off your high horse, to me it seems you think that youre better because you dislike lesser bands, so what, i like the music they make, i wont be ashamed in the future cos i'll have grown and its all a part of me, hell im not even ashamed of my Limp Bizkit/Eminem days......

I don't mind Billy Talent, but they seem to me like theyr'e trying to sound like a more accessable At the Drive In, and in my personal opinion, only At the Drive In should sound like At the Drive In. Then again, At the Drive In are one of my favorite bands of ever, so I may be a bit biased.

Try Honesty is a pretty decent tune though.

I saw Billy Talent in march when they supported Reel big Fish. Reel big Fish ruled, Billy Talent didn't.
I suppose you could say i was quite dissappointed because i tried going there with an open mind, but they weren't very good. They weren't even the forgettable type of not good like say, the Distillers who i saw at V. They were so not good i'll remember how un-good they were for a while.

I'm not ashamed of anything I've brought. And I have tones of cd's that I don't enjoy anymore. I own InMe's album and computer game music soundtracks. These days I prefer things like Radiohead and Hope of the states. But ashamed, no. As for the beauty of poetry and art. That's a personal taste to you. Not just another era of growing up like your teenybopper days

The first time I heard River Below, I absolutely hated it. But everytime it was played, it grew on me more & more and I love that song so much! So being me, I went and downloaded it and other songs. As of now, I have River Below, Try Honesty, Lies, Line & Sinker, and Living in the Shadows. Out of those, my favorites are definetly River Below and Lies. Line & Sinker is quite good, though it gives me a scare everytime it comes on, lol :LOL: Anyways, yes I love Billy Talent & am looking into getting their album sometime soon! *dances*

I saw them last summer with Rancid and Rise Against. It was the first time that I'd seen them or even heard their music and they were great! That whole night was stellar. Couldn't think of a better line-up. I think "Devil..." is my fave.
