Anyone else heard of this guy?

Post-Punk Laptop Rap he calls it. He's witty, intelligent and doesn't take himself too seriously.

The two vids above are, yes, digs at two well known cliques in music but it's still very funny.

Most his songs are just funny but those two stand out for me.

Any other fans? He's a bit of an internet sensation apparently.

My Dad won't get on with me on this issue actually. He follows the black and white idea that downloading music is stealing.

I had to explain that MC Lars WANTS us to download his songs.

:chuckle: depends on the methods of downloading doesn't it? i'm pretty sure iTunes isn't illegal (right?) have you made your dad listen to the song? my mum was in the same room when i was listening to the song and said, "wait, i thought musicians were against downloading songs... and since when did you like rap music?"

personally, (and ironically) id rather not download music because i prefer to buy CDs and get the inlays with the artwork and lyrics (in some cases at least there are lyrics) i feel that downloads aren't physically there so it diminishes the value in my mind...

... that and i love having collections of CDs... i very much cherish my Muse collection :)
