Who likes them? If you haven't heard them yet, check out their latest album, "Dear Catastrophe Waitress" (or at least the song "I'm A Cuckoo"). It's wonderfully borderline cheesy and neat as a pin. The album "Tigermilk" is good too. I shall see them live in two weeks

my friend likes them and they're always played as the wind-down music at her parties, when she wants everyone to go to sleep/home. they're quite nice..

B and S are amazing. I love their new(ish) album. Did anyone see them at The Botanics in Glasgow. It was such a nice day (in Scotland, I know!) and the music just fitted the day perfectly.

I'd say they're probably my favourite band. I go through stages where they're pretty much the only thing I listen to, and I'm almost at that stage now.

But surely there's alread a B&S thread on here?

This may be a few stupid questions, but forgive me I'm a young fan. Wasn't Isobel Campbell one of the first members in the band?
Did she leave?
Why?

I've loved B&S ever since my Japanese friend sent me a mixed tape (yes, a cassette) with Judy and the Dream of Horses so many years ago.

And I also love Elliott Smith!:p

Excellent band! I've just d/led their entire discography (well, the albums), but the little I heard from there was really good! Also, all that made it into the Jono ST were amazing.

I am starting to really enjoy this group. I have The Life Pursuit and The Boy With the Arab Strap, any other suggestions?
