(just had to use that expression) today i went with a group of christian friends to what i supposed was to see a 'great' christian band playing. i get there, and the band play four songs; songs that consist of repetitive shouting, 'God is great, God is big, God is mighty.' Then comes the preaching, about an hour and a half of preaching. everyone's screaming, stamping their foot- scared the hell out of me. i was told that if i wasn't with God, i was with Satan. Then at the end, they wanted those who wanted to be 'saved' to come down. i didn't know what to do, my friends asked if i wanted to go down but i was totally freaked out, and luckily they didn't press it.

i was promised music but what i got was preaching about saving my soul; i have nothing against christianity or any religion but i really did not expect the full on thing that i got tonight...... :o

I'M BACK!!!!! (my cousin came over so we have been at crown every night!!!!)

BOY DO I HAVE LOADS TO SHARE!!! yesterday my friend took the first period off to buy the tix off the net. she got confused by all the rules and such so she bought the seating tickets!!!!!!!! NOOOOO! I'M SO DISAPPOINTED AS YOU CAN IMAGINE! anyway, she felt bad since i tended to overact and pretended to die since i had my heart set on ga, but i said, we could refund those and buy ga tickets. she tried after school and found THAT IT WAS FUCKING SOLD OUT!!!! :mad: :mad: again i pretended to die, since again, i overact a little.....and she felt really bad and i felt really bad for making her feel really bad.......BUT CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT SHE COULD HAVE BOUGHT GA TICKETS??? IF SHE WASN'T SO FUCKING DAMN CONFUSED, THE POOR SOUL!!!!! anyway, this was today- so i'm gutted but excited but more gutted i guess. this means though that i will and shall wait outside for them to come out since i won't see them up close on stage!!!!!

by the way, through the city, there are loads of muse posters- i desperately wanted to rip one off so yesterday (since my parents were in a good mood -tipsy that is) they let me get out and rip one down. it FAILED!! fucking stuck up heavily. i've got strips of it to prove i did it though. it's opposite the mercy hospital somewhere (where i was born!!) down a little side street. i was NOT vandalising the poster!!

oh and WE DIDN'T MEET JAMIE CULLUM. oh my look at my horrible life..... we got to crown tried to bluff our way pass but that didn't work. asked the lobby if a jamie cullum stayed there. i stuttered, my cousin REFUSED TO LIE, we didn't get the room number. left a note for him, heard his room number. climbed the stairs to get to room. realised he was at gig therefore not in room. took photo of room door. i did my Ls test thing last tuesday; read the book once and by reading i mean skimming and by skimming i mean flicking the pages and by flicking the pages i mean touching the book and turning it over. ;)

hahahah, sounds great! i watched this french movie a few weeks ago. it had this man whom you never saw the face of because you saw everything from his point of view. he couldn't leave his house because of that phobia thing (forgot the name) and it was in the future i think as he could do everything through his television. then i got bored and went on the internet. it was very colourful though.

Yesyesyessss The Breakfast Club is a very good movie! I love 80's teen movies. I wish teen movies nowadays would be like this, its very good. Ahh and funny. The thing with Alex… the reason why I would ever have had problems with him is that he is someone I know who is totally honest and will say exactly what he thinks. When my cup was overflowing with a lot of anger and control freakishness and low self-worth I would take a lot of hat he said personally when I needn’t have done. It’s his truthfulness and his genuineness, whether I agree with what he’s saying or not, that makes me have a lot of respect for him. So yeah, he is a pompous knobhead, but in a good way. Also, his pompous knobheadness, if I wasn’t being so up my own arse when I was getting angry with him about doing that, is quite hilarious.

I did! The problem with these offers is that they were during the show and there wasn’t an awful lot I could do about them. I’ve never been told that before and I think I was quite feigned being shocked quite well. It was quite forward of this young lady but it was very nice to hear, in a perverse way.
What did she say? She said, “I want to suck your dick.” It was really loud and the whole venue heard. It was during a quiet bit in between songs when I was stuttering for something to say and, of course, I stuttered even more after that.

It’s treating me well so long as I carry on treating it well. Do I have the odd beer? No drugs and no alcohol. Anything else that can alter your moods I have to watch, although I do drink coffee and have cigarettes. Did one incident make me want to stop drinking? It was a bunch of incidents, really. I’m not sure whether I really did hit “a bottom” as they say, but I was very close to it. I didn’t lose my house or… I messed up a relationship, I’ve probably messed up all of my relationships with boozing and I had a very young baby daughter.
I basically couldn’t carry around all the shame and the guilt that I felt about how I was conducting myself. So the easiest and hardest way of dealing with it was to stop and reconstruct my [pause] vandalized mind, I suppose.

Who had the biggest gay following in Blur?

I’ve been knocked down twice. Once when we first got signed, and I remember being hit and going to hospital. It does sober you up. The second timw was leaving some sort of fashion party. Well, the thing is Damon doesn’t have to fall off stage to look undignified – none of us have to do anything so slapstick. I think I displayed more undignified behavior than anybody else had or ever will do in Blur and it’s really not a big deal. Falling off stage is actually good if you get back on with some trophies like a cut eye. I don’t know if it happened to Damon, but that’s kind of cool isn’t it?

I was given medicine but since I’m that stubborn strong minded person as I am now, I refused to take it. Some smart arse suggested putting the deadly concoction in my milk; (milk is very important in the first year or so), this in turn made me bitterly scared of the liquid and all other dairy products. Horrible story it is.

God, every body in my body aches from time to time (often that is), lately (and I mean for a few years now) I’ve been getting this weird indescribable spasm in my left leg. It comes so quickly and I writhe around on the floor wishing my leg would just drop off. Thirty seconds later and the pain has left as quickly as it came. It’s so indescribable that I refuse to see a doctor as I wouldn’t know what to say! :(

i know i'm not going to live a long life with my bones. oh well.

Hehe, our camps are extremely violent, its sort of a girls vs. guys things, esp. against the male teahers, out of the last four band camps, there has been a hospital visit on every one!!! One was that they tackled one guy down to put make up on him and he dislocated his shoulder and pulled all the muscles in his back trying to get out, hehe! We always trash the male teachers rooms, and last year we attacked them with bags full of water balloons!!!

No karaoke though, more sing alongs with the guitars!

omg, you see i'm not usually a singy type since i know i can't sing but i'm so proud of myself that i actually went up and stuff. people i don't know have being patting my back congragulating me. felt liberating! :LOL:

oh and we had two buses, and the other bus driver was this butch tallllllll woman named tracy who commented on our teacher's arse everyday! :LOL: on the last night, a guy wrote a letter from this 'tracy' asking the teacher to come meet up later on to teach her how to use a mic 'properly!' bloody hilarious. and since i and others couldn't ski we got stuck up at the top of the mountain and had to ring the teachers!!! :D quite fun though. my chest hurts becasue on the last day i went skiing with my camera around my neck (hoping to take pictures) unfourtunately i fell and landed square on my camera which dug right into my chest! PAIN! still painful even now! :eek:

our fucking bus broke down on the way up the mountain too on the first day for skiing so that was a fucking long wait. but i had this ski instructor who looked like mr. matthew bellamy!! even my friend who has only seen the many pictures i've shown her commented on that- even before i said it!

CAMP IS SO FUN!!! one guy on the first day had to go to hospital and a few others hurt themselves so they just stayed at the place watching dvds everyday........

on the first day i wanted to cry so much- the boots hurt my legs so bad, plus i couldn't ski. i got crapper each day but the scenery was beatifu! snowed on the last day but every other day was sunny and great. it even reached 15 degrees!

so pissed at my mum and sisters right now- they think that since i had a week off on 'holiday' that i owe them something or something. :mad:

exactly a week ago i was running in and out of everyone's room madly taking pictures!!! how i wish i was on camp once again! no more for me FOREVER!!! noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo added bonus though is that my sister is going to phillip island for a week camp tomorrow! whoo! Well for starters its in a shared environment where you are stuck with people you dislike to start with for up to a week in crampy icky environment Ahh every single year I get stuck in camp groups (which the school chooses) with people I don't know or dislike so me usually allways being stuck all by my little lonesome self. We have to do lots of horrible exercise which just seems to go on forever (last camp I had HUGE bruises on my legs from walking, didn't actually notice till I got home because I hadn't changed clothes all week) No technology! BLAH- she keeps saying that she never expected my sisters and i to LIKE her music or clothes so it's all gone!!!

did i tell you about how before the camp my friends suggested i dress up 80ish since i'm now quite obsessed, then i realised that i do actually have some old 80s clothes that my aunt bought over when she visited a few weeks ago (jamie cullum incident). of course i wasn't into it (80s era) then so i dismissed all the clothes and my mum did too saying it was too 'young' for her. then on the friday before camp, i needed the clothes so i went home- went through my mum's stuff. AND COULDN'T FIND THEM! ARGH!!! so i called my mum and she thought, *'shock horror* 'i chucked them out.' then she remembered that they were all in those charity bags in our garage, waiting to be actually chucked out! lucky, my mum isn't very organised or quick to do stuff!!! this probably didn't make any sense, but i'm hopeless at explaining things!

nah, limited spots (that's how popular it was!!!) if you don't go on camp you have to do work experience but loads of people just stayed home for the week and 'worked' with their parents. bloody tossers! camp with friends and 'letting your hair down' so to speak, or being with your family watching boring day time telly??????

Haha they used to make us Japanese learners to have pen pals in Japan but I never had to because I wasn't good enough at Japanese compared to the other kids so I couldn't have a pen pal. It made me quite happy.

OMG

ANYONE SAW ME??? i was the little girl wearing my, 'muse is my muse' shirt! yes, lame but my 10yr old sister thought it up and it was clever at the time!!! i was SITTING!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, and i kept jumping around and i felt bad for the people behind so i apologised and i apologised to the man next to me becasue i was singing ver LOUD AND OFF KEY! and i was sick so i totally strained my voice even worse, fucked up now.

argh- so glad deadstar was played. highlight for me even though the security people was talking to me during that song telling me i got to, 'cloak' my camera!!! my friend's brother was to take us but he had being in a car accident so we took the train. got to the station at 8!!! couldn't wait for the tram, and my friend said,'it's ONLY two blocks away even though she's never been,' so we ran for 15 minutes. only to get to the otherside and go TOO far! therefore i asked some people at the bus station and they said to go BACK where we had come from and turn down the OTHER street. so we took the tram and ran, full on sprinting down. luckily it was DOWNHILL!!! we get in and bam we were pretty close, on the side!!!

missed the supporting act.

they checked my bag but my scarf was hiding the camera. after a few songs, they saw my camera and my friends camera and after much dilemma on when to go and 'cloak' it (IT WAS DURING THE GIG, I COULDN'T MISS IT) and it was so decided that my friend would cloak it for us. i felt real bad, but she felt worse for getting us lost.....

at the end, i waited for an hour and a half but we had to leave at around 12:35am, please don't tell me they came out a few minutes after i had left!!!!


BAD NEWS- anyone remember how i saidi got a new camera for the gig? well, i video rec lots of stuff but thought it could only rec up to 9 SECONDS! imagine my horror when TODAY i find out that you can CHANGE THE SETTING and go recording with NO time limit!!!

canberra was mainly catching up with rellies... most of them popped over to denmark at one time or another while we were living there, but this was the first time we had all been together for a while, so there was lots of boring family stuff... for the rest of the time i mainly slept :rolleyes: hardly an exciting holiday, i know, but it's better than nothing

it's more the problem of age restrictions, plus it's pretty difficult to travel halfway across melbourne to see agd late in the evening on a school night :mad: if they are gonna have a gig without age restrictions near me not on a school night... then i'm there ;)
