Is his name Peter Halford? hehehe. I went to school at South Thames for a while in London. I had a physics teacher named Peter Halford who was a huge radiohead fan. He had a listen to the Origin of Symmetry album and loved Muse from that point on. His lab assistant Ian actually knew Matt. Ian was in a band at some point and played a show with Muse when they weren't big at all--in exeter I think.

Alas, I moved back to San Diego long ago, so I know not what happened of Peter or Ian.

my friends know i'm obsessed with muse so when their math teacher talked about how he like them and saw them like 5 times they told me...it was surprising then again he is a bit weird and unpredictable. oh well good to have a fellow muse fan.

I'm an English teacher and the kids I teach are beginning to tire of me trying to work Muse into my lessons I think. You really shouldn't be shocked if your teachers are big Muse fans; we are intelligent people!

My Irish teacher loves Muse! My friend gave me a Muse calendar for Christmas and it wouldn't fit in my locker so I was walking around with it (not that I minded much :chuckle:). My teacher saw it in class and said ''Ah, a girl in this school with a good taste in music!'' And I went ''ZOMG, you like Muse?!'' She said ''Love them. My favourite song is either Bliss or New Born.'' :yesey:

I did my English solo talk about muse (Twas the easiest option) and at the end my teacher started asking me questions about the meaning of plug in baby.:happy:

And my French teacher (who is french:eek:) says she likes them.

ummm my English teacher last year said she has them on her computer (which she used heaps in class) but she never put on any music... until when we were doing poetry and song lyrics and stuff she made us listen to O.K Computer by Radiohead which I must say is the weirdest stuff I've ever heard. and the only other RH song i've heard sounded like pots and pans getting banged together so I don't wanna go near their stuff.

My guitar teacher last year let me learn whatever I wanted, I had him teach me like 4 muse songs in a row, he'd have difficulty working it out and after he finished I'd just go find a better tab on the internet. But he did comment that he thought the guitarist was good, I don't think he knows that he sings at the same time..:erm:

Im doing my research project on Muse for English, and we had to write a brief paragraph what it was about. When i got my book back from being marked, she had wrote a comment at the bottom reading,
"I look forward to hearing your research project, Tom.

One time I had this substitute with a weird accent (he said his dad was from England). And he saw that I was reading 1984 so then we got into a conversation about that and I asked him about Muse and he said that he liked them! He also talked a lot about conspiracy theories which made him even cooler!

I sort of introduced Muse to my English teacher. She told us to pick a favorite quote and I picked "Best you've got to be the best...etc" from Butterflies and Hurricanes, and when I read it out loud she was interested and the next day she said she fell in love with the song. :LOL:
My old band teacher thinks they stole Radiohead's image. BS. :stunned: He knows nothing about them, he thinks their most famous album is Showbiz. Hence why he thinks they stole RH's image. Dumbass.

My music teacher has Sunburn as an example piece to analyse in class. But thats all she's ever heard of them. Until she had to mark my performance pieces they were Muse, she said after playing Nature_1:
