When I grow up I want a police because I could speed up if there is an emergency, plus I get to have handcuffs in my picket along with a gun. I get a belt and a suit with a badge.

:o This kid has his priorities right!

Okay so Mr Mexico you're scaring me a little with your excitement, but I thought it'd be unfair to reply..

I've never been to Mexico but I suppose it'd be cool to go there, though I get the impression Americans think little of it (but then again I don't think that much of Americans)

I learned that in Mexico you don't need a license to drive. That's what I like about Mexico.

If any country allows me to drive, it must be pretty awesome :D

I was thinking the Mundy one, but that Incubus is still very good!

I have that album, its really really cool.

From what i have heard Mexico is pretty deadly but the only thing which i dislike about it is 2 girls around 15 or 16 called Anna and Begonia who messed up things amongst my friends when they came to Ireland for a year and are the cause of why i dont speak to one of my best friends anymore.

For example Mexico has a lot of great food and a lot of nice places to go but it also has a lot of troubles or issues.
I would prefer to live in another country, honestly.

I went to Mexico for our Honeymoon and loved it. We stopped in Cancun.
My best memory of Mexico has to be the pyramids at Chicanitsa (sorry about the spelling) it was an amazing place and would recommend to anybody going to Mexico to visit. It blew me away. At the time (8 years ago) you could still climb the steps to the top of the pyramid, this was scary but not as scary as coming back down!!! :)

I climbed Chichen Itza as well, apparently you aren't allowed now. I went several years ago but I'm going back for my 30th birthday in January, I can't wait, we're going to visit Tulum and Cozumel this time amongst others things :)

I don't mind Mexico, but when your football fans come over here on our grounds and boo our national anthem, I cannot respect that. I'm a loyal US soccer fan, but I don't stoop so low to boo anybody's national anthem! I don't hear the guys in Sam's Army booing either. I do love the rivalry though and it gets me pumped! Still aching inside after ya'll beat us badly in the Gold Cup. Wonder if we'll square off in the World Cup sometime?
I do love the cuisine and all, but kinda nervous about places like Cancun during spring break since I'm a very calm and collected individual who prefers avoiding trouble. I'd probably like to check it out on a less popular time of the year.

I've only been to TJ and Rosarito. TJ is not too pretty and I've heard violence has increased a lot. I made sure to visit the strip of bars early in the day while the sun was up, get tore up and take a cab back to the border! haha! I can't believe when I was 19, one of my girlfriends and I drove all the way to Rosarito to have a drink. I remember driving a few hours in, drinking for a couple hours and being to scared to stop and use the restroom on the way back since it was nearing dark and there we were, two nineteen year old girls in a foreign place....

I do , however, have a close friend that grew up in SLP and absolutely loves it there. He says the weather is perfect and loves the culture and the old buildings. In fact, he's even taking his masters in history because of the influence that that town has had on him. I would love to visit more of the inland states in Mexico one day..Being from LA, I'm surrounded by Mexicans and I love their culture, the food and the language.

Yeah Mexicans can cook... that's for damn sure. You're right though... the education system there is in a sad state... especially by the borders :(

A lot of them just work to make due with what they have, which isn't much. Family is looked at as being more important that education or ambition.

I'd like to travel to Mexico City. Hopefully one day i'll get the chance to. It's probably a lot nicer downt ehre than what I've see in northern mexico

So you're mexican?, or your parents are, is nice to see people defending the mexican heritage in other countries.

My grandparents are Mexican. My grandmother's family, specifically, was from Monclova and Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

I will always defend the Mexican heritage. I may not agree with how some people who share my heritage choose to live or to represent themselves... but it's THOSE PEOPLE that I have the problem with... not our heritage. Instead I choose to try and redirect their priorities and educate them... it's one of the reasons why I teach.
