Resistance. I was okay with the album, then I heard it live when they came here and the crowd singing along to "could be wrong" was just amazing so I was on a Resistance streak.. then I got tired of it again.

I listened to the Glastonbury version with the Double Neck intro and it sounds unbelievable! Great song.

I'm actually a little surprised they haven't played Invincible since Matt got this guitar

I love Resistance too, live with the intro it's just so powerful.

I also would be suprised to see Invincible on the next tour, though I reckon he'll use a fair few of his new guitars in the studio (I'm hoping not the Keytarcaster though- that would mean an album of UD and cheese)

I've recently rediscovered Hoodoo. So powerful, especially live on the piano. It's amazingly beautiful, by far one of the pinnacles of Matt's song writing career.

City of Delusion - should bring it back, would fit in quite well with the paranoia of the Resistance.

I find CoD massively underrated, it's one of my favourite Muse songs and yet it's never talked about, and was never played much. They have to bring it back.

Anyway, I've discovered TSP (much like everyone else, esp the Earls Court 04 one), Debase Masons Grog, and Dead Star.

Most of the time it works like, if I learn a song on guitar or piano, I love it again.

Massive agree to CoD.

Realised recently just how good the Dead Star riff is. Haven't really changed my opinion on the song itself but I get the reaction now.

The main rediscovery has to be Falling Down, massively. Far from their best work and a long way from flawless but it's such good, simple, quality unpretentious song-writing and that needs to be cherished dearly.

Oh my god I love that song. MILES better than Assassin, even GOB. Just so much heavier and sexier, and the drums are (much easier) but sound insanely awesome.

When it was played initially, it was rumoured to be the new Stockholm Syndrome, shame it was toned down so much for the album.

What, live they do/did live? (Glastonbury 04 mainly)

Whenever I play it, I do that solo outro, and the live solo, which is insane too.

Amazing song; one of their best, especially live

Probably Citizen Erased actually. Musically and lyrically, Muse's most powerful song IMO. Reading the lyrics and watching some of the older live performances from 2004 made me shed a tear or two, especially Matt playing the last verse on piano.

Also the earlier live versions of SMBH, very raw and Matt playing with the Glitterati. Awesome! And also the versions without the kaoss pad solos (ie teignmouth, admiralsplast etc)

MK Ultra. I remember why I liked it so much.

For me, it's quite possibly one of the most mental riffs for Muse especially with the Kaoss going off in the background. I just don't know why Matt looks so calm when he plays the outro.. if he really rocked out during the Turin pro shot it would've been sooooooooo awesome.

The guitar just didn't have the punch in Turin as it does for the album. :(

Hysteria was the first song I heard from Muse back in around '04, and at the time I didn't see what was so special about it (though my friend raved about the song incessantly). But 5 years later, I'm digging it real hard. That bass part is just so fantastic!
