Please say someone knows someone with tickets and are willing to sell? Ebay has nothing yet.

Uhhhm, you could get a fake ID? I've been to an over 18's only gig (when I was 17) and I got in fine, they didn't even bother asking. Altho do be careful, a few of my friends went to see Fall Out Boy last year sometime, and couldn't get in. Had to sit outside in the cold.

Hmm, twice last week some direct marketers thought I was over 21. So I guess its not that I dont look old enough. Just that, the only fake I.D I can get is from the EU, so I could pretend to be a French tourist (I speak a little bit, can do an accent  ). Dont know if they'll accept it at the venue though. :(

I shouldve got a fake I.D before Wolfmother. And I should get one before The Mars Volta. Damn being 17 with this taste in music.

but fuck, I do love BBS a whole lot more after their gig on Tuesday. Very impressive. Hotel is the sexiest song ever..I love Kevin Drew's voice. He had food poisoning but you would've not noticed. They played Looks Just Like The Sun aswell...one of my favourite BBS tracks. yeaah
Two hour show, set ended with It's All Gonna Break..

Not the best perspective of the band from my side of the stage but I had a good view of Andrew Whiteman, who's quite the showpony and rightly so...a quality guitarist, I think.

Today I noticed that their self-titled album is now available at my local library.
All I know about them is that they are from Canada, but after reading this thread I'm definitely borrowing it on monday.

You've made a really good decision there. Also, get You Forgot It In People if you like them even more, and want something else. If the S/T version is the Special Edition version, it'll come with an extra EP with 7 songs. So that's 21 songs with just one album!

Happy listening.

They're having a break after touring schedules this year, but it's not clear whether or not they're staying together.

Yeah, same exact feelings here. I finally listened to them and was very surprised. They're very good, was not expecting the mellow folk post-punk indie thing. You Forgot It In People is great.

Broken Social Scene are supporting Pavement on the 13th of May next year. I'm so glad I chose to get a ticket for that date. <3

That's pretty cool! We have the 3Ds for the Pavement gig I'm going to, who are also recently reformed. I'm at least as excited about seeing them as I would be to see BSS.
