Are completely WANK.
I mean utter shit on a stick. If you've parted any of your hard cash on them then i feel sorry for you. I saw them last night and they are at the top of the worst bands ive seen live list...and ive seen Buffalo G

a concept album about witches! how can you not love Liars? and they're awesome live. i saw them twice when they played in Bristol and in Nottingham, and was going to have seen them for a third time when they played in Leeds. Angus trod on my jacket in Nottingham. and Angus was right in front of me in Bristol. and he was the coolest. they were awesome. open your mind and just listen. and you'll be completely amazed. Mr Your On Fire Mr is on the album 'They Threw Us All In A Trench And Stuck A Monument On Top' and that one's easier to get into i think.. although, remember... there's always room on the broom.

Fuck concept Album. They're only calling it that because they're THAT shit. I went to that gig with an open mind, We first went straight to the front, the singer's stage pressence was little more than boring. And he continually put what he said or 'sang' on repeat in a rather rando way. He didnt impress me at all, nor the majority of other people there, they've only got a reputation because of Karen O and she's a bag of wank too.

it's called creative play with a sampler, honey. now quit your whining, it's boring. if you don't like them, don't listen.

Iīm sure people like them and there are people who donīt. Itīs hard for a band to reach a high level, not to mention any level. But for the most people, an amusing level will sufice. I think 4Q Im Manx isnīt that open minded as he says he is..

Oh please don't go down the condescending route, its quite pathetic. Music is based on rythm and melody, i heard very little of both, maybe i would have if the singer didn't 'play witha sampler' so often. And i'm entitled to my opinion, and i shall keep telling everyone how awful i think this band is, if you don't like it, don't read it...honey.

Well it's quite obvious you have an opinion, in wich not everyone has to agree in.. So if you can't stand a discussion, don't start one :D

They're not too bad. Neil sent me a song, I think. Just. Alright. Nothing special.

saw and met the Liars twice when they toured here in the DC area. they're nice.....wierd guys... :D and they put on one hell of a show. The first time we saw them they put my brother in law into a state of amazement, he just sat himself in a corner and stared into space while my sister and I had a chat with them

Probably just don't want to pay for the upkeep of the website. You get all their info on myspace etc for free anyway.

Downloaded the leak yesterday but haven't heard it yet. I think Scissor starts off really well but goes totally downhill when the guitar + bass + drums push it into typical "post-punk revival" territory. Shame, but maybe it'll grow on me.

Drum's Not Dead is awesome. Their albums albums not so much, though they have moments of greatness (e.g. This Dust Makes That Mud)

I meant "Their other albums not so much".

Anyway. I'm listening to the new album at the moment and it is much better than I expected after hearing Scissor. The slightly abrasive "post-punk" sound of their first album isn't really present on the next few songs, and it reminds me more of Drum's Not Dead than any of their other albums (but it's still quite different to that).

I'm only about 15 minutes in, so hopefully the quality won't drop.
