=O Shame!! But don't worry, I missed Billy Talent when they were here.. that's evil as well.. ~_~

Err, the video to Long Time Coming.. what is it about? I saw it three times now but everytime I had to go to the bathroom or my mobile was ringing or anything.. weird! I just saw that the guys are in a car! :D

I'm going to HMV in Oxford street on Monday to get some stuff signed. My sister's been to 4 of their gigs and going to two more next week and her friends got a trip on their tour bus! Lucky buggers. She's got two of their setlists and Greg's water bottle. If only Muse played some small gigs...

They described it as a mix of twin peaks and prisoner on the xfm site (long time vid) sounds like muse's ulimate video to me

I've only seen the Delays once, when they supported Ocean Colour Scene back in September. I wanna go to more gigs, but none of my friends like them, with one friend describing them as a "camp band made of camp people making camp music" which I though was rather mean..

More like I can't come. They're a pretty cool band, I shall invest in the album whenever I remember to.

Yeah. Delays are sound... I can't wait to get their album. I love the way they describe themselves as a pop band and are unashamed of this. They could be the saviours of smooth, dreamy rock and the saviours of pop...

Yeah. The vocal goes quite Draperish at times though, except Greg can actually hit the notes.

Yeah. Genuinely great blokes too. The brothers. Saw them on Soccer A.M. a few months back and was thouroughly impressed by their demenour... Or something... They seemed friendly... Or something...

It's different..but still them, I love it

I absolutely love The Delays! My best friend dragged me to a Franz Ferdinand concert a couple months ago and I went because that's what best friends do, lol. But I actually turned out being quite glad that I did go because The Delays opened for them. I immediately went and bought the CD and it has been on constant rotation with Muse, Interpol, and The Faint ever since. It's a little sad though because they're virtually unknown over here and I don't know anyone else who has even heard of them. But that's okay. I have no problem being their #1 American fan

They're from round 'ere, doing a homecoming gig soon. I'm supposed to be going, so I'm giving them more of a listen. I only know Nearer Than Heaven (which I always thought was incredibly boring), Hey Girl (alright) and Long Time Coming (rocks). Are their albums worth buying, or are they the sort of band who only have a coupla good songs and the rest is a load of utter ballbags?

Well from the new clips on their myspace No Contest sounds allright.. Touch Down sounds very promising, and Horray sounds a bit cliche/dull.

I love the first album so much that i'll get it anyway and hope the magic is still there!

FRIENDS ARE FALSE!

The new album's great. Favourites are ^^, Pieces and The Earth Gave Me You. I've seen them 5 times this year already. Which rocks. The Aaron/Greg contrast works very well IMO. It's like FSG with more attitude and edge.

Not much different from the rest of their back catalogue, but still very good dreamy indie pop! Like the video too.

EDIT: A couple of early reviews for the new album are looking very promising!
