N i also heard that they would come to Porão do Rock, a festival in Brasília, in august...
a newspaper published that Muse would probably be the main attraction of the festival... but there's no information bout it, neither here, nor at Porão do Rock's website...

I'd REALLY (really, really, really) LOVE if Muse came to Brasília... All the great shows here are in Rio or SP... I've lived in bsb for YEARS n it's SO DAMN DIFFICULT to some good show take place in here, in special the international ones...

Ha, in Brazil we leave everything to the last minute. I don't think it will sell out... But I wish I could help with the ticket, thing is... I'm going on a road trip tomorrow and I'm only coming back on July 27th and then I'll be travelling again to see Muse in São Paulo on July 31 and I'll only be back on August 01. See the problem?

friend I met up with (Julio) met the guys at the Melia hotel earlier yesterday.. said they were flying out today at 11AM, so I woke up early to walk the 3 blocks over from my hotel to theirs. wandered inside, sat down on one of the plus couches.. and waited and hoped. less than 10 minutes later watching the elevators go up and down, I spot a shiny jacket and entourage enter one of them on the 4th or 5th floor. I thought it was Dom so I was getting excited. they got out and hung out behind the wall where I couldnt see Tom (whose camera i noticed) and then got up to go talk to them, since I knew they were on a tight schedule. I wanted to talk to Tom, but I got to Matt since.. it's... Matt ;) so short chit-chat ensued.

me blabbering about how I went the night before, went to wembley... big fan, etc etc. apparently they didn't sleep last night and they were going out to breakfast, since one of the guys handed Matt a R$50 note. I asked for a picture, got it.. omg he looks horrible in the pic- but it's great! reflected how he truly felt at the moment after no sleep and an impending flight :happy:

So I went. Stayed in the vip area in the end, because the regular venue was too far away from the stage. My astigmatism didn't exactly appreciate that. I was right in front of Dom, could see the whole stage and all.... that was nice.
It was a great and awful gig at the same time. There was Dead Star and Fury and Matt picked the guitar-shaped pink glasses I got this kid to throw on stage for me, but he didn't put it on, beacuse he couldn't get it open. And it was awful because the sound was shit, the drums were too loud and I'm pretty sure it wasn't Muse's crew fault, most of the gigs on that stage had the same problem. Maybe people in the background couldn't hear it, but I was right in front of the speakers. No matter how much I love the song, during Fury I had to cover my ears for a bit, I thought I was going deaf. Another thing I hated was the crowd. PEOPLE, MOVE! Even if they didn't know the band really well and couldn't sing along to the songs, they didin't need to just stay prostrated there like stuffed animals. The crowd in São Paulo was way better and friendlier.

The pics I had in my cam were taken by a girl who was with her boyfriend holdin' her just by my right side. So, I asked for her to take it to me. Cause I'm suck terrible to take pictures. And cause I really didn't wanna so much spend all the concert time with a cam in my hands trying to take the best shoot ever of the night.:LOL:

It's such a pity it's over. The whole tour of them around South American was great. It was a really really enjoyable time. I also had a lot of fun. Thus like you I'd like that it had never end up eventually. But, even so I got such happy all the time they were here. Even they had gone away. They left behind the nice feeling of "can't wait to listen them more, sooner" (cause the sound what they do is just so fuck good. After have listened it live once. friend I met up with (Julio) met the guys at the Melia hotel earlier yesterday.. said they were flying out today at 11AM, so I woke up early to walk the 3 blocks over from my hotel to theirs. wandered inside, sat down on one of the plus couches.. and waited and hoped. less than 10 minutes later watching the elevators go up and down, I spot a shiny jacket and entourage enter one of them on the 4th or 5th floor. I thought it was Dom so I was getting excited. they got out and hung out behind the wall where I couldnt see Tom (whose camera i noticed) and then got up to go talk to them, since I knew they were on a tight schedule. I wanted to talk to Tom, but I got to Matt since.. it's... Matt ;) so short chit-chat ensued.

me blabbering about how I went the night before, went to wembley... big fan, etc etc. apparently they didn't sleep last night and they were going out to breakfast, since one of the guys handed Matt a R$50 note. I asked for a picture, got it.. omg he looks horrible in the pic- but it's great! reflected how he truly felt at the moment after no sleep and an impending flight :happy:
