WOOT Spain vs Germany next. So scary. I'M SO SCARED FOR SPAIN. DAMN YOU GERMANY WHY IS YOUR GOALKEEPER SO EPIC! Seriously man, that Neuer fella cant stop catching balls during that Argentina game. Arsenal should buy him
Yeahhh Redang is so nice! One thing bad about going there now though is that I fell sick when i got home.I'm thinking its because i drank a lot of sea water and its SO HOT there compared to our unusual cooling weather now. so yeah, i've gots teh fevers :( but s'ok, nothing panadol cant kill.
I stayed at Pelangi Resort :D its not very fancy though, it was really cheap so thats why we chose the place. The 7-hour busride there was awful, its so cold at night! jeebus.
Are you planning to go there? :)
regarding the germany (esp neuer) part: oh tqtq.. i do love him. tq again :P but im very nervous abt tonight. i think im gonna watch d match thru my fingers. dammit why la muller kena yellow card last match :(
regarding redang: i was checking out packages. i donno why they all look so expensive. so now maybe i can check out specific resorts n hopefully get cheaper prices. hee berangan je actually. but that wont hurt right? :P

omg wow.. 8gb. I'll settle for the DVD quality kthx :D has yours finished downloading yet? how was it!

aww sorry for germany's loss :( looks like mueller's absense really affected the game. But now for the finals its Spain vs Holland and I seriously dont know who to support!! :'(
I heard Pelangi (the place i stayed at) got cheaper, like RM320 for triple room, but i wouldnt recommend staying there la. Your room is like literally just a place to sleep in. No TV, kettle fridge or anything, and the bathroom is a bit old. But then again you'll be spending most of your time out and about anyway :D and the service is good! But now its during their peak season.. so memang prices go up a lot.

Aww.... so sorry to butt in to the middle of World Cup discussion but I don't exactly follow up with their updates so I don't have any discussion on World Cup to contribute. Sorry! :$:$ :p
Regarding on the NME mag, I already bought it from Pavilions, the time bookstore. There was 2 copy over there and practically before going into the bookstore I was quite hesitant about buying it but 1 look at it, I bought it at once without much thinking  lol BTW, thanks Melwhoops for telling me where still has the NME mags, because of that, I went to Pavilion to checkout wondering since where you told me has it, maybe pavilion has it as well. :D
Don't read them if you still haven't read the NME mag
Okay, first thought on the mag, for RM 32 for a mag, the qulity of the paper and the cover is seriously bad. It's so flimsy and so easily bend. And I thought it suppose to be a special edition futhermore.
Next is, NOW I can see why UK-rians and Europeans are saying that NME doesn't like Muse. Seriously I prefer to read their interviews and photo captions way more than the articles or reviews on anything about Muse. The stuff they write is like an double edge where although supposedly they are praising Muse, but in a way like insulting and critising them at the same time. Especially the part on their early days. Calling them 2 radiohead or another radiohead over and over again... wth
Honestly I never really listen to radiohead and all their songs that I actually heard before are on channel V or MTV and sounds to me most of their songs sounds draggy(no offence Radiohead fans!) and doesn't remind me of Muse. or maybe just so happen that those paticular songs doesn't sound like Muse. I don't know.
And sometimes I just can't stand reading the articles/reviews on the gigs or concert. Calling Matt, Mad Matt and indirectly calling their stage setup ridicules, stupid and weird (they cover it up with fancy words) They sound like a bunch or critics and writers that being assigned to go to a Muse concert to write a review about it and them saying, "oh, no! I don't even like Muse but got to write a praising review about them =.= :( Like they hate them but grudgingly(more like force to) write a good review on them
Ok, that's all my rants and review about the mag.
Nut: seeing her Mum? :stunned: wow... that's fast, Whatever it is, I hope they are happy when they are together and hope they do last because I can't really see them together. No offence to Matt and Kate, ok?

HD is just too good to skip, seriously. It's pretty unreal to look at the whole stage and the band in crisp quality. 10x better than HAARP which I thought was poorly compressed :( And I noticed Dom got lazy with his bass drum kicks for KOC... :LOL:cheater.
Oh talking about resorts and the oh oh ocean! Just found out from a friend: 4 days doing your diving course at some awesome power super duper beach in the Philippines costs about S$600. That's inclusive of the accommodation too. Really a steal, man. Or do you guys know if Malaysia has cheaper alternatives?
Joelyn I know what you mean about the NME mag. But the pictures are pretty good right! I've not seen most of it so I took my time to study them (purely for visual research).

EH? wait, is this their latest Glastonbury set? Or their old 2004 set, remastered into HD version? Because when you mentioned KOC I got a bit confused
And for diving.. you mean scuba diving? I know there's this island called Pulau Sipadan in umm... Sabah or Sarawak, I forgot which, but its on East Malaysia, that is like for proper scuba diving. Its also pretty near Phillipines, so apparently there have been cases involving filipino pirates? dont know if my friend was pulling my leg when he mentioned that though, but yeah point is, the only island in malaysia that i know of that is known for scuba diving is at Pulau Sipadan :) Pulau Redang also has scuba diving too but i dont know what their standard is like! But you'll definitely see some turtles around :D its a rare occurence to see them whilst snorkelling but you can definitely see them while scuba diving i'm sure. I dont know about the prices sorry :(

I was referring to the 2010 Glasto! Have you seen it? It's hella good.:D in HD summore...
I've heard about Sipadan. Apparently it's pretty awesome. I wish I had a diving license to go to these places and do proper scuba diving. Hahaha so fun to swim with the fishes, and turtles.

Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme has confirmed to NME the band are set to start work on a new album in 2011.
The star said the trio plan to head into the studio for the follow up to 2009's 'The Resistance' after they take some time off from touring. Watch him talking about Muse's plans in a video to your right.
"We'll definitely start working on a new album next year," he revealed before adding: "I think we'll definitely take some time off after this touring period because it's something we've never done. I think the most time we've had off is about six weeks in the last 12 years, so we're due a break."

there's only a few audience. people not interested in them tho. i was screaming like OMFG, Musehhh!!!
i ran on the stage and asked matt for autograph. then i realize that he's so freaking short!! his height is like 12 years old kid.

Ze soul fest was so much fun!! I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. I didn't get to watch Jully Black and Diane Birch cos i came late. Lupe Fiasco was a great act. Kool & the Gang were entertaining and Kanye West was pretty ok. He should stop doing the monologues, it gets tiring.
All in all it was a pretty fun! I'm sure tonight's will be even better. If only I was going. :(
Debbie if you were a Slipknot fan, you'd be afraid of yourself then. That's worse than getting frightened by your own shadow.

Singfest day three pictures here (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=38094&id=1017791270&l=dbe51d13b5), but you have to scroll past heaps of Muse and Franz pictures first. :p

Nah A&W is extinct here. It's a forgotten memory. No one makes root beer float like they do.
Singfest was ok, mildly surprised by the 3 acts I saw. Other than that, it was not as awesome as your experience on day 3 apparently!:D

Yeah I don't know why we're deprived of A&W. I don't want to know what legal issues they're having or whatever .
It's safe to say that Franz Ferdinand is your most favourite band of all time in this universe, or if there's a multiverse, they'll still be your most favourite band? :chuckle:

are you going for F1?
thanks again Nut! yeah that's the mall. still tempting even after getting that footlong subway sandwiches?:p
the "R" band is seriously worth travelling for.. and the "PJ" band!
btw, Happy ramadhan to everyone.. :)
I'm not going to watch the race live. Still waiting for the F1 Rock line-up. If there's something worth watching then I'll probably go.
Hahaha "PJ" always makes me think of Petaling Jaya. Have they set afoot in Malaysia before? I know they've been here once a long time ago, back when Youtube was non-existent. :D

Happy Belated Birthday Faz! (Welcome to the 32 club,)
A&W root beer is to die for! :p bah i just had it last night yum! There's a 24 hour A&W right opposite Amcorp Mall. great place to hangout for a late supper after concerts!
i heard that airasia will have flights to Japan soon. should we plan for a muse in tokyo together? :D
I'm at Amcorp right now, imagining that root beer float dammit :(
Wow, you mean it may be possible to afford going to Fuji rock
Hope you had a good birthday. Is Amcorp Mall the one where you and Miele brought my friend and I to eat at the Thai restaurant? I remember seeing one A&W joint there and it looked tempting at that time, even after that meal which you guys generously paid for haha. :p
I don't know about other festivals, but they still have loads of awesome acts coming to Japan that are worth traveling for (the "R" band is one).
Asia used to be Japan only. Fortunately, times have changed.
You coming for the Album Leaf right? When is it again? Maybe can go to A & W this time
Tim! matt's crotch? tell me about it, i too have mental images of the band esp Dom that are forever etched in my memory from the concert..

I'm going for The Album Leaf :D Although I have a recent obsession with loop pedals, I'm glad there'll be a full live band for this tour. They'll play KL Sept 7th, and two SG shows 9th and 10th. Nut are you going for both (sg) shows?
We're planning to have a muser (+Placebo) meet up of sorts this Saturday. :) Faz I do hope you can make it, we could celebrate your belated birthday! Miele, you too coz congratulations are due ( ;) ) and I still have your Rolling Stones magazine  Tim, perhaps you could join us too? :) Joelyn! Mel! Lya! I haven't seen you girls since our lil SG-Muse trip. Kay-a, Debbie, ibelieveinmuse (you have free time after graduation, yes?) musiclover85? etc.
Basically if anyone can spare a little time this Saturday, we'll be berbuka-ing puasa together lol. Place has not been confirmed yet unfortunately, so hopefully someone would clear this up soon? Heh. Fingers crossed for this to work out.

Yeah Singfest should step up a notch and be bolder to have a proper festival. But minus the camping of course, because we've nowhere that's so isolated that you can't walk out to the main road in 5 minutes. :p
Chemical Brothers are coming here during the F1 week and boy, that sure sounds interesting.:D
Yeah, bit gutted that there isn't enough space here for a full-on outdoors festival here, or even just a small one. Baybeats wasn't bad though.
Yeah, I think we discussed this on Twitter. Grrrr being underage. :indiff:

Last time I checked, Fuji Rock tickets were pretty expensive. I think in the region of S$600+ for 3 days. I think that's more expensive that Glastonbury? Not too sure though.
I'm going for The Album Leaf's Sg show only! And just day 2. Which, believe it or not, is the first night of Raya! I totally had no clue back then when I bought my ticket. This sounds terrible, but I'm still going.

Every time I see loop and pedal in the same sentence I think about the story of KT Tunstall and the Black Horse & the Cherry Tree. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DehtqLVmdcA&feature=search)
I wish I can watch The Album Leaf on both days, cos I hate to find out that they might've played something I like the previous night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHxSa3flMQo&feature=search).
The meet up sounds like so much fun! Wish I could be there. But I'll be there in spirit nonetheless. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6az9wGfeSgM&feature=search)

Yeah Baybeats was not bad but I think this time round it wasn't as good as previous years. But I hope it continues to be free. That would be really great.
Years ago they had Sembawang Festival at the Sembawang Park. It was a bold move but it kind of failed. Tickets were too expensive, and most of the acts were unknowns. Not a good equation. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQ1sZSCz47w&feature=search)

Every time I see loop and pedal in the same sentence I think about the story of KT Tunstall and the Black Horse & the Cherry Tree. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DehtqLVmdcA&feature=search)
That was very nicely executed! I think the first time I was truly aware of the powers that lie in the loop pedal, was after watching this kid doing wonders on his electric violin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YB14RErb-FI)! He also did a cover of MGMT's Kids (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwRu1IHdNAM) but if I honestly want to link a cover of Kids, it definitely has to be this full blown orchestral version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPXSeF_3ljA). SO. EFFIN'. EPIC.
I wish I can watch The Album Leaf on both days, cos I hate to find out that they might've played something I like the previous night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHxSa3flMQo&feature=search).
Oh man, that would suck! Have they not announced the location/tix price etc yet?

The MK Ultra video is really sad, I was reminded of when my teacher once showed my class this video about globalization, about the clothing industry and how the workers in the clothing factories in India, after breathing in all that thread and dust and never ending hours are only paid, like, a few cents. Yeah so cheap right? They were early bird tix, my friend paid even less, like RM90 for the whole festival! Even though the dearly departed Sunburst Festival will always be remembered fondly, nothing can beat Javarockinland for its sheer rocking out credentials.
There were some relatively low points though, like Billy Corgan's 'poyo' aka Diva attitude and not being able to find 2 of my frenz on the last night
But overall yeah, bestival everrr!!! Definitely recommended especially if you are into retro / electro / riff-centric rock.

Hello everyone! the semester is nearing its end! :D
these talks about miele's wedding is getting exciting! congrats miele!
who else will be going to Paramore's concert next week? i bought the PS1 tickets and will be going with my friend, but would love to meet up with some of you guys there.
i sprained my right ankle two days ago during my acting test. it is now quite swollen and walking can be quite a task and is painful. and it is too convenient that i bought standing tickets for Paramore. :indiff: :erm:

Wow good thing I didn't know it was so cheap otherwise I'd have skewed my way down there. Looking forward to the next one, in a year's time. :'(
Mel I hope you nurse it back to care within the week! You can do it!
And I didn't know you're an actrice in the making?;)

hell yeah. it better be.... better before tuesday! and no, i'm not an actress in making whatsoever. we had a subject on Script Critique and Style Analysis and the lecturer wanted us to do a small theater on Feminism. i was a very, very gedik Bibik who skipped blissfully all over the acting area, hence the sprained ankle huahuahhhh!!!!

woah.. all those great bands for only RM90? that's it. i'm moving to jakarta.. errr.. on second thoughts, maybe not. scared of bendera people heh heh..
how was SP la babe? and Dashboard? jeles tahap gaban nih! more photos please.
Liz! good to hear from you! how was LH?
Hi! Actually the Bendera thing is exaggerated la, they were mercenaries paid to demonstrate only. I went shopping, rocking etc and people were fine. Except sometimes there's a brief silence when I admit to being from Malaysia :stunned:
SP sangat2la professional, they sounded good aand it was a good reminiscing exercise. But sama la macam Stereophonics, they were good tapi macam langsung xda rapport with the crowd. It's not that they needed to chat with the crowd, just not be such automatons, you know?
SP didnt play 1979, I think. Mr Corgan seemed like he was having a hissy fact. There was no encore despite the crowd calling for it. :(
On the flip side, with Stereophonics I finally got to hear Dakota live
Dashboard was good fun, but the performances by other awesome bands ( Wolfmother, Datarock, Mutemath) made them not stand out, I think.
Wow good thing I didn't know it was so cheap otherwise I'd have skewed my way down there. Looking forward to the next one, in a year's time. :'(

That's why la!!! Did you know Weezer almost headlined this thing. There was a news report that negotiations stalled bcoz of payment issues. Booo!

Liz! good to hear from you! how was LH?
Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA. I gotta say a lot of people I've met who are into music here are not exactly huge fans of Muse. How disappointing :( I've joined my local uni radio station, hopefully they'll assign me to attend gigs and interview (small local) bands hahaa, that's a start though, no? :)
LH was :awesome: :awesome: It was a very solid performance, one that cannot be rivaled to the set they played in Singapore exactly 2 yrs ago. Perhaps it was the crowd that drove them, or them playing at the same exact venue 7 years ago and not returning to UK after that. Mid way through the set, Jason&his acoustic allowed the crowd in London to pick songs they want to hear. We got to listen to a medley of Storm/Breathing/Blind/Everything/Sick Cycle Carousel/From Where You Are/The End Has Only Begun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-CH3ScratE). (Love that part where Jason said the record label told him that Breathing was a radio flop in the states ) Hard to believe, but that wasn't the highlight of my night  Come to think of it, there's really too much to say that won't exactly be proper for Muse msg board. Link to a proper review up soon (along with the overdue Placebo in KL review)! :X
Allllso, earlier this week I finally got to see Brandon Flowers in person. I swear, his show was such a hand porn fest :awesome::$ Pity he wasn't wearing a watch, but he was easily forgiven every time he flash that goddamn contagious smile of his. I honestly can't believe we didn't get to see him earlier this year :( :( Definitely missed out an experience of The Killers live. I wanted to talk to Brandon after the gig about another Singapore/Malaysian gig but cheesus christ, I think I had a complete culture shock while waiting backstage for Brandon after the gig. We all know Asian fans can be a little crazy sometimes, but at least we're crazy shy. The dickheads here on the other hand, they were totally harassing Brandon to the extent there were idiots banging on the tour bus door and sticking their noses on the windows to peer inside. For such an advanced country, you'd expect the people to behave better but no, with alcohol apparently they have every reason to do that. *shakes fists* If you stand back and let the man breathe, you're definitely going to get that 30 seconds of precious time with Brandon but if you mob him security's just gonna whisk him away! I felt so embarrassed I left the venue early with a taste of disdain in my mouth. However, even that bad experience post-gig could not affect how birlliant his show was. Brandon sings with a tinge of mystery and as he looks into the crowd flashing his smile, you know he's hiding a faint memory that the fans will probably never know. I loved every moment of it :)
Ash and Jimmy Eat World in November...but contemplating right now if I should skip class and go for Jonsi & The National in London!! Whatever happened to studying?! :(
Mel & Deb, how was Paramore!

Hellooo! I'm here when I should be studying for my finals instead haha :p procrastination ftw. not. and I swear thinking about the things I want to do after my finals is the biggest distraction EVAAAR.
Miele, wah I had no idea Javarockin' would be so cheap! Must've been suuuper worth it eh.. and that's weird that Stereophonics didnt speak to the crowd, because when they were here Kelly Jones spoke to us quite a bit actually! He was like.. describing the songs or something, I couldnt really listen because it was noisy and his accent is so thick
Liz, oh gaaawd that Lifehouse Medley was so awesome! Must be fantastic to have seen it live.. and ooh what happened that was the highlight of your night? Now I'm intrigued... :eyebrows: I cant stop clicking on other medleys Lifehouse did btw. They did one with Simon too!! I almost died. Simon is one of my favourite ones haha. What songs would you have requested for? :D
and dayumn.. closeup pictures of brandon pls? :chuckle:
As for Paramore.. I unfortunately only got the cheapest tickets, so it sorta was like Muse in BNO again, where we were on the barriers on the balcony haha. I had such a blast! Their music is super upbeat, i love it, and Hayley is sooo adorable I'm starting to have a girl-crush on her :ninja:. She always does this little 'jig' when she sings, and she's a wicked head-banger too haha. She bantered a lot as well, and during the last song Misery Business she actually brought a dude up on stage to sing with her!! luckyyyy guy. He shamelessly asked her for a photo right there on stage haha. I'd do the same too if I were him and wasnt already peeing in my pants :p
Setlist.. if anyone's interested :D
1. Ignorance
2. Feeling Sorry
3. That's What You Get
4. For a Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic
5. Emergency
6. Playing God
7. Careful
8. Decode (!!!)
9. Let This Go (acoustic)
10. When It Rains (acoustic)
11. Where The Lines Overlap (acoustic)
12. Misguided Ghosts (memang acoustic)
13. Crushcrushcruuuush (never realised how much i loved this song until i heard it live)
14. Pressure
15. Looking Up
16. The Only Exception

17. Brick By Boring Brick

Maybe coming back to South East Asia reminded Kelly of that shoe-throwing incident in Singapore earlier this year :(
My highlight from the LH gig (apart from meeting the band post-gig, and talking to them about Inglorious Basterds :$ ) was actually hearing Wash live. Two words for that song: LIKE. SUNSHINE. ;) During Spin, I *think* Jason messed up the 2nd verse but because the crowd was singing along so loudly - even overwhelming the band during the customary bridge pause - it was quickly overshadowed. Simon's my favourite too, but I would've loved to hear Eighties, Anchor, Cling & Clatter or Fool. That would kill me. Then again, after hearing Everything live, I have no regrets. It feels like I'm done with life lol.:stunned:
I know you're having your exams at the moment, won't give you reasons to procrastinate further with pictures of Brandon ;) but I can't resist posting this picture...and vid.
http://img1.hidemyass.com/img/7pWTf.jpg
Lelangit lol! (Pic not taken by me)
Not sure if I mentioned in my earlier post, but Brandon dances a lot on stage! If you guys have watched his latest vid (not the one with Charlize Theron), you would notice Brandon's signature snap dance in this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tSTot-0Wag) vid! ;)
That smile of his, he's so dorkily gorgeous. I can't stand it.
Any vids to share from the Paramore gig? :) How was the opening act for Paramore? Heard they won the chance to open through some twitter contest!

Thanks guys for the help! It turned out pretty well and I managed to go!! IT WAS BLOODY GOOD, THE FLAMING LIPS!!!
On that night itself, some dude named Omar email-ed me about joining him and his friend for the road trip down to Singapore for the show (he must've gotten my email from the Junk website, and yes Miele I am ewoksoldier! Did you read my lame entry? :D). So I replied that I'm in Singapore and asked him if he can be arsed to help a stranger and get me my tickets from Junk HQ, highlighting the fact that he can run away with them and that I can do nothing about it. In return, I'd treat him and his friend to supper after the show. He replied with a very sincere "yes"!
So this super-duper nice fella did get me my tickets at 10am SHARP thurs morning, and gave me a call right away to assure me that he's not running away with it! Such a nice fella right.. :)
I brought my lucky friend along and we met Omar and his friend at Marina Bay Sands (it was their first time driving into Singapore and kudos to him for finding his way through this extremely confusing place) after work. I think he's the last human being of this kind (helpful, selfless, honest). I received my tickets and he said he'll take a smoke while my friend and I go look for something to eat (but we didn't in the end). Apparently there isn't a single fast-food restaurant in that bloody huge place. Not a big fan of fast-food but we needed to bite into something light just before the show, so we ended up with coke.
Then we went to the exhibition hall and there was a queue. Went to check out the merch stalls and I bought a tee. I loved it. We decided to join the queue but soon after, Omar came and called us to his BIG group of friends who came down from KL too, and they were near the front of the queue!! Then I spotted my colleague (who's a freelancer so I had no idea she was attending the show too) on the other side of the queue, where we were a minute ago and I did the right thing by passing along the good deed, so I pulled her to our huge group of cool people (apparently some of them are in a Malaysian band called Flocks, if i heard correctly... google isn't giving me any result so I must have heard wrongly then). Then it was 8pm and we were ushered into the hall and it was the beginning of a lot of surprises for me. That is all.
:D
I'll post the pics soon! I believe this was the most fun I had in a concert. Wayne Coyne sure knows what he's doing.

Yes Omar is my new friend. I still owe him supper cos the show ended at 12am and he thought it was late. He had to go back to JB to his aunt's place, then drive back up to KL on Friday to start work at 6pm!!! HARDCORE.
The setlist I can't remember in its entirety nor it's order, but it went something like this:
intro
Worm Mountain
Silver Trembling Hands
She Don't Use Jelly (!!!!)
The Sparrow Looks Up At The Machine
I Can Be a Frog (very fun interaction with the audience hahaha)
Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots part 1 (gutted that they only played the acoustic version)
See The Leaves (i think)
encore
The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song ("i'm so happy")
Do You Realize (must end with this)
The pictures are on my facebook.

I actually think I might give this one a miss! Ticket prices have gone up a lot over the years and now its like.. the same price as sunburst, except its only for one band now. Not very worth it imho, since i've seen them already. and alsoooo uhhh I'm not really digging their new album :\ :( i feel bad for saying that :( maybe it just hasnt grown on me yet :chuckle:

Joelyn! Yes to Dashboard!!! Have you guys got tickets yet? I am somewhat tempted to go for Laneway fest in Singapore too (Fiest! Larua Marling!) but a tiny bit cash strapped at the moment sigh.
Oh another Muse-related note, so who was surprised (or glad hmm) Muse didn't make the cut for Twilight:Breaking Dawn's OST?

Hahaha no I didn't buy the album... heh heh heh heh heh.
Oh well, I really hope Muse comes to SG & KL next round.
Looks like Muse still have their sense of humour. That studio snippet was funny.
That new FTP single is pretty good. The video is good too! A case of stockholm syndrome i think
And I can't believe I've been a member of this forum since 2005. Gosh, it's been 6 & 1/2 years!
Sigh... you are not the only one who is waiting for Muse to come around. I miss their concerts and especially Dom :p haha
Don't stop take some time getting used to but it is actually quite good ^^. Now is one of my fav from their album :D
It's already year of the dragon... Suddenly I feel like having a midlife crisis this year T__T
Hiii!
Nut: waaah Kasabian. where to find money to go *scratches head*
Waaah so long oredi. The awesome thing is if Muse come to these parts again, am sure the conversations will still be the same as 6 years ago
Joelyn: am trying to work out with Aida if aybe can meetup (for those of us not goung to FTP / Dashboard) la.
Where's everyone else? *crickets*
Miele!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just found out Avril Lavigne and Evanescence is coming to Malaysia as well!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gah,... so many concert to go to this early of the year!!!!!!
Honestly speaking, I'm more into Avril and Evanescence than Dashboard. :$ I don't feel like going to Dashboard anymore..... >.O Maybe we can do a meetup close to any of the gig's date? Then we can chit chat and talk the whole day :D
eh wait. there's a new twilight movie? bile tu? this year? eh i mean last year la kan?
ahaha.. i know, i know. dia tunggu aku tuh
:LOL: I love Dom! new album also means a new tour right? hope they'll singgah KL again lah. i wont travel for concerts anymore
Happy New Year everyone. i hope our obsession with Muse-- that bonds us together all these years-- will never fade!
aduh Faz, breaking dawn part 1. Takkan tak tahu?:p Yeah, I feel twilight movie is getting better and better ^^ So hopefully the last one is the best. Honestly people always say the first one is romantic(buku romantic la, movie.... tak ada la) but I feel the breaking dawn part 1 so far is the most romantic although Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson is still a bit akward onscreen o.O
La, Dom tengah tunggu the right one, which might be me as well :LOL: May the best girl wins, ;) kalaula dia datang. Hahahahahah...... :p
WOW I SEE ACTIVITY HERE. Happy New Year everyone~!
AndHAPPY BIRTHDAY, NUTTT!
It seems that I come here only when there's a birthday...
Don't Stop is such an FUN song!
Yeah, Happy New Year Noor!! =D Are you going to any gigs? there seems to be a lot going on in Malaysia and in Singapore in early of this year. ^^
don't stop is great and the vid id even funnier

OMG, there is so many gigs going on in early of the year. Simple Plan on 14 Jan, right after FTP, Avril Lavigne on 18 Feb(arghhh... wanna go!), Dashboard on 22 Feb, Evanescence on 23 Feb, right after Dashboard and the Jessie J on 16 March(I'm not really interested in this) And not to mention, I saw Katy Perry is going to Manila and Indonesia this month. Why didn't she come here or SG :(:( But the Philipines one is quite cheap. About RM 61 only for the cheapest area.
Just 2 more days to go for 13 Jan :D Doesn't feel like the concert is just 2 days time after waiting for it over a month :)

Foo Fighters and Death Cab only 5 days apart! :(
Did anyone see the lineup for Coachella this year? It's insane.

I feel it too lol. In fact I think I am living it right now. Kinda having a slump where I can't seem to move forward. I think it's just the idea of this year being our year.
Maybe we can do a meetup close to any of the gig's date? Then we can chit chat and talk the whole day :D

Part 2 shouuuld be better because of Lee Pace (who will be playing an American vampire nomad)! His hands, unf. Lol. Story wise though, gah the last few chapters of Breaking Dawn was so frustrating.

Katy Perry is here last year but it's for world stage not her pure concert :( T___T and I'm not so obssesed about her that time as I am now :p:LOL:
Year of the dragon made me feel like I'm having mid life crisis cause maybe I'm a dreamer. I have a dream of being able to do or create something that will save the animals from close to being extinct, going overseas to stay/work, do something fantastic and like for me before 24 that is year of the dragon, I still consider young but then after 24, it's like it should be more serious already.and I still have not done any of above at all. Npt even holidaying in overseas with the exception of SG.... and I'm not sure whether I want to continue in my line of work... *rant* (sorry for the long rant):$

O.O so many gigs in SEA this time of the year....
FTP is performance is great but there is some set back, be up with a story and review tomorrow as I need to sleep >.O =P
Anyone free during CNY week or after? But during CNY week I can only do night as I'm working night shiftb :p
Who is the American nomad vampire? can't remember.... Why is the least few chapters frustrating? I feel it's kinda kin chiong....:D
If it's like our TAR C O.O then it is big but the band would be so small only ....

Good thing I'm not a fan of Death Cab, so I can save some money there. Sorry they don't have a date for Msia Deb!
Where in the world are you now? I kinda lost track reading your tweets hahaha.
It seems like it was just last week that I first made plans to go to the US but wow, I'm leaving next fri!!! Pretty excited as it's my first time. Dreading the long flight though.
Sigh... you are not the only one who is waiting for Muse to come around. I miss their concerts and especially Dom :p haha

LAMC and some Muse fans are reminiscing the '07 Muse gig at fort canning. So nice to watch KOC from that gig again. Brings back damn good memories. :D
I hope FTP can make a good second album. They've got quite the potential. (Cheyy, I sound like an album reviewer)
Thanks yah for the wishes! Yep like Liz said, Fort Canning is pretty huge and plus, it's
outdoors, so it sounds impossible to be sold out haha.

Lol! Well 1 whole day was spent at Universal Studios, and the first and last day were just half days so yeah not much time :( lol. Universal Studios is super fun!!!! akjdfafj;slfjf;alja must go at least once in your life k. haha.
HOW WAS FTP? Review please and thank you!
Part 2 shouuuld be better because of Lee Pace (who will be playing an American vampire nomad)! His hands, unf. Lol. Story wise though, gah the last few chapters of Breaking Dawn was so frustrating.
FTP was good!! However I did spend almost half the time slowly nudging and easing my way to the front. Sound system could have been better, and setlist could have been longer, but the short 13-song setlist was understandable since they only have one album! Hmm what else what else.
Oh right, like 70% of the crowd were KIDS!!! High school kids. I even saw a pair of 11-12 year-olds. Was quite shocking. I had no idea FTP was appealing to that crowd. There were also a surprising amount of ang mohs in the crowd. ang moh kids. Probably from some international school. As for the band itself, Mark Foster the vocalist was also playing the guitar, keyboard and drums (that I noticed, could be more for all i know!) damn talented can! And in the upbeat songs he kept running back and forth the stage, reminded me a bit of Matt
And on a more personal experience note.. At one point in the gig I was surrounded by this bunch of tall white rowdy kids, one of the dudes had his shirt off and he was SO STICKY. ALL OVER MY ARM. GAHHH. That is all. LOL.
Eh what Lee pace is in Breaking Dawn?! I didnt know that!! And yeah I know what you mean by the disappointing last few chapters. They hype it up so much and then the 'battle' just.. ends... because of a loophole. Very very anticlimactic. :noey:
Thanks for the bday wishes! :p

Oooh yeah I'll definitely check it out the next time I head to singapore... No idea when that's gonna happen though haha. Am pretty broke. but I'm curious as to what i'll find there lol!
