OMG, how good were they? i had never heard of them before, caught about 10 mins of their set right on the edge of the tent before racing to see some band or other. Thats all it took to make me and my bf new fans
:yesey: Me too  Never heard them live but started listening to them after Presets were namedropping them all over the place  and so I went and checked them out... and yeah. Total fan now. :D

Hmm, saw them at the Earl's Court gig (which was SO long ago ) and they seemed a bit naff.
Worth another go?

They're pretty much a different band now - in 2005 they remixed their own songs (Nite Versions) and started playing the new versions live + live versions of the various remixes they've done for other people... The best gigs I've been to by far have all been Soulwax Nite Versions
I've been a fan since that gig but listening back, yeah some of it is a bit gash

Have you watched the live show yet? I've been saving it for some big speakers, just a shame it doesn't have many of the remixes :(

Haha! It's a really good band documentary I think - without actually forcing anything it properly catches the feel and energy of an epic night out... The end is a bit of an AV-fuck but all together bloody inspiring! At some point I'm going to play it on my mates projector setup :D

haha indeed. I love the 'interview' with the drummer though - can you drink, can you do drugs, do you like to dance, how about girls??
haha WIN
Going to Soulwaxmas in Belfast next week. Anybody know if it's dodgy around Mandela Hall at night? Know my friends are going to be flying so hoping that it's not too easy to run into trouble.
