Any of you who said Darkshines...shame on you! It's a good song. I always skip the intro in Absolution, cos it's depressing (it reminds me of war, you know, the soldiers marching, etc). I am the exact opposite.

For me, the second half of OOS > the first half.

I love the dark eerieness of it rather than the more rocky stuff, though the difference in likingness is tiny. It's just an awesome album :happy: .

It always sounds like the band that will go on to record Origin of Symmetry. All the basic elements are there but they haven't actually run with it yet, they're still trying to be sincere and earnest and all the things they think they ought to be.

Thing is, (I might be in a severe minority here) I thought the second half of Origin Of Symmetry as a whole wasn't all that great. The first half is absoloutely fantastic, but I never really get into anything from Micro Cuts onwards. The possible exception is Megalomania, which I like very much.

Falling Down is obviously great but it is kind of incongruous and possibly oddly placed so I can understand why it gets skipped. Falling Away With You is a disaster...surely if there is only one rule in pop music it would be this:

Oh yes, rawness is the key. It's really overlooked thing, and quite hard to keep. Most bands loose it after their first or second album. This is why I love Lapko, who sound raw but still their music progresses :happy: (shameless promotion lallers)

Endlessly and Stockholm Syndrome both have 12 which is weird coz they're two of my fave songs on that album
