Er, the first album. 3 gig tickets and whatever percentage from 3 festival tickets. Although one of the gigs they were supporting, does that count? Also I didn't watch them at one of the festivals as someone had just painted their tent so I watched that dry instead. Much more fun.

I have other expenses I could charge to Muse. For example, the train fare to the Perv meet, because if it wasn't for Muse I wouldn't have met you all. :D
And then there's the charge for the procurement of about 20 pwoper e-friends, which is priceless. So let's just call it a couple of grand.

It's only since I've been renting that I've been thinking of money as important.
When Muse's Earls Court gig was announced I bought 4 tickets just like that. Over £100. :stunned: I couldn't do that these days, having more important things to buy, like y'know, food and washing up liquid.

It's no small amount. But once it's spent, just forget about the actual numbers, eh? I'm sure it made you happy at the time, and that's what counts. If you dwell on the sordid side, then you'll lose even the good that came out of it.
Me, I've not spent all that much compared to some. But compared to what I generally spend on music, it's a lot. [/p00r]

Haha. Alright, I'll be honest. :p There isn't much Muse-related merchandise here that I could splurge on, and no one would lend me a credit card so I can order stuff online, plus, I'm too broke to afford a trip abroad to see them live. If only they sold more Muse-related stuff here, I probably would've spent much, much more.
2 copies of Absolution (the other one I gave as a present.) - P950, about US$17.27.

Hmmm...
Well...I bought Absolution twice cause my first CD screwed up...so that's £10.99 x 2 = £21.98
Plus a copy of OOS = £10.99
Butterflies and Hurricanes single = £2.99
Estimated cost of trainfare/petrol from attending gigs = £75 (would be a lot less if it weren't for driving to Earl's Court
Ticket for E.C = £26
Car parking at E.C = £15
Postage costs for Matt's birthday presents last year = £14
T-shirt from E.C gig = £18
Erm...I think that's about it. So that equals....£173.96
But I feel kind of guilty 'cause I've never had to buy any of the singles or Showbiz, and I've only ever had to pay to get in once, at Earls Court. Cushy job means lots of freebies. :(

I've not spent enough, actually.
I first misread the question as: how much time you've spent on Muse.
I'm ashamed to say. :$

03-08-2007, 03:30 PM
Hmmm I think I will have to slightly re-phrase the question as in 'how much has my credit card company spent on Muse'
answer = I dernt add it up
3 gigs + transport + accommodation = £600
5 albums = £50
2 DVD = £30
20 single cd/dvd = £100
Merch = £100
No amount is too much though - I think I have entered into a fausterian deal.

How much have you spent on Muse?
This includes all cds, dvds, posters, merch, gig tickets, train tickets (to muse gigs) etc. Basically- how much richer would you be if Muse did not exist (god forbid).:D
I worked out i have spent about £92- it would be more but my bro already had OoS.
Does trafalgar count? Because we were taking a one way ticket train for £88 pound and driving back.. but somehow due to a misunderstanding the car we were using ended up being back home anyway! so.. 176 pound straight out from just one day. That isn't including food.
er.. plus 4 CDs, 1 DVD, 2 gigs, £60 in useless merch which ive lost..
:( Stoopid muse.
