They dont want to play stuff that they dont feel 'connected' with or maybe they just hate the song now and there's also this whole 'myth' about the song nancy boy so i can understand why they do not want to play in anymore.... although they still play some songs of the first album like bionic. ah well i was happy with the setlist at the concert last year.

Burger Queen - I was at Brixton (on the bar). I thought it was a really good show (the images on teh screen at the beginning were stunning!) but was dissapointed in the shortage of older tracks (ie from first album).
The 2 support acts were really, really bad - imbeciles were possibly the worst band Ive ever seen and Colour Of Fire were just dull and generic.
Placebo were better than I was expecting overall though

Yeah placebo were great, they did a long set, well it seemed to last for ages! and yeah i know they only did bionic from the first album and pretty much every song from SWG except something rotten, the screen thing was great for building up the tension! were u working at the bar, or did u just feel more comfortable near the beer taps, get any merchandise?

Yeah its wicked - get to see all these bands that I wouldnt necessarily pay/ travel to go and see usually - and get paid while Im at it! Obviously sometimes it's well hectic/ stressful, and the pay isnt fantastic - but it beats working in a pub/ nightclub bar!

I went to the gig on Wednesday. It was amazing, and my third time seeing Placebo live.
I missed the first support act, but caught half of the second act, Colour of Fire, who weren't too bad, but from where I was, their sound levels were shit.
During 'cebo I got almost to the front, so I was happy. Someone shouted Nancy Boy, and the person behind him called him a tit. It was funny to me at least...
Bionic was cool, and I wasn't expecting it at all.
Fantastic show, and for the 2nd time at an indoor Placebo gig, I made eye contact with Stefan...
I wanna go again!!!

love them love them love them !!!!
awesome band, my second favourite after muse i think...yes!
my favourite album is still !without you i'm nothing" i think they made a sort of classic with it and i don't think they will be able to do better than that...even if sleeping with ghosts is really great too...
saw them twice last year, both times in munich, both were awesome shows, but the second time, they seemed a bit tired and not in th right mood, and the crowd was also better the first time!!!
an extremely mind-blowing moment was during the frist concert in may, when the end of slave to the wage came and brian got the whole crowd to scream "run awaaaaaay!!!!" during minutes after they alreday had finished the song...it was so amazing the whole venue was like vibrating from the over 3000 people screaming they head off and brain also seemed so amazed, i never experienced anything similar!!!!

they played the concert on radio and i taped it- i know only the radio released songs but all the songs are really good, i had pure morning (cept i didn't know that was the name till i looked it up and i still may have got it wrong) in my head the other day during school- if you sing that song outloud, you're going to get some weird looks thrown at you. they were like, 'did you say breast?", "whaaat?" it's catchy though

The first time I saw Placebo in concert was in 1997. They were the support band of U2's Pop Mart Tour here in Spain (I don't know if in other countries they were also the support band) and I have seen them twice in concert since then.
I absolutely love all their albums... and my favourite songs of each album are I known, Without you I'm nothing, Taste in men and Plasticine.

Placebo is my third favourite British band (was second...but Muse kicks them off !)
lots of Excellent songs..but I really hate it when they put stupid songs that keeps on repeating the same stupid line like "Protect me from what I want" or
"something rotten"...it works in Taste in Man, but for the rest it's just really annoying and uncool...lowering my impression of the entire album which would have been easily a classic.

With celebration of the 10th anniversary of Placebo's existence, there will be also a special release of singles and videos presented in a deluxe collector's edition box. This should also include a DVD and the release is due Christmas 2004.

Biography by Greg Prato
Due to their penchant for androgynous attire/makeup and raw guitar riffs, Placebo has been described by some as a glam version of Nirvana. The multi-national band was formed by singer/guitarist Brian Molko (part Scottish and American, but raised in Britain) and bassist Stefan Olsdal (originally from Sweden). Earlier, both had attended the same school in Luxembourg, but didn't cross paths properly until 1994 in London, England. Briefly called Ashtray Heart and influenced by the likes of Sonic Youth, the Pixies, the Smashing Pumpkins, and the aforementioned Nirvana, Placebo's drum slot was filled alternately early on by Robert Schultzberg and Steve Hewitt (the latter being the group's only member of British origin).

Poor Placebo is underrated, they are quite good... Their lyrics are pretty nice.
The lead singer has an annoying tone, and bad make up...
The band's music is very very nice...i especially like the lyrics..

wot's the problem?
I live in the UK, so like i wont get to see them till 2006 unless i travel... and i doubt that will happen very soon with the amount of school work and college stuff coming up....
I thought school was over, found what i want to be... course is 7 years long :| does it ever end ??!!
