In Hollister (a clothing store, for you folks on the other side of the pond). They have a touch-screen with lots of CD's on it, and you can just punch in what you want to hear. Last week Brian talked me into a zip-jacket and several polos, as I put on Hysteria and SS and just couldn't bring myself to leave the store while they were playing.
(Our local American Eagle plays mostly hiphop stuff, but last week they played Green Day; definitely a step in the right direction.)

I heard Muscle Museum being played at a children's party being held in a local pizza restaurant called Shakey's where a friend and I had lunch after we had our college entrance exams. I just found it funny that I heard it being played at a children's party, where one would've least expected to hear it, and especially in this country where Muse is barely known.

Well, it's not Muse exactly, it's a Michael Buble version, but Canadian skater Jeffrey Buttle (Olympic bronze medal winner) used Feeling Good for his exhibition performance in the figure skating gala tonight in Torino.
And couldn't all those other "I heard Muse in a commercial" "I heard Muse in a movie trailer" threads be incorporated into this one thread??
Muse are being used a lot in the winter olympics on BBC 2.
Just used instrumentals of Sunburn and B&H.

Haha, I was eating dinner with my brothers and my mom in this crappy little burger joint (I didn't eat anything because I hate burgers) called the Garage. And it literally was a garage, just with loads of drunk guys and their drunk girls smoking and yelling at the football game on the television. I caught onto the Hysteria bassline in the background and decided I'd rather listen to Muse than to annoying, greasy men, especially those that kept tossing me icky looks and smiles. So I went into the bathroom, where it was much quieter, and hung out until the song was over.
And my friend's school's dance team did a routine to TIRO. She showed me the video of it, one of the girls got kicked square in the boob.

I dunno if it counts but some busker in a tunnel was singing, "Time is Running Out" and I sang it with him. He thought it was because I had no money but I gave him 20p for singing that, then I asked him if he knew any more Muse songs and he said he hadn't heard of them, to which I corrected him that he just sang a Muse song. He just looked around waiting for me to leave, which I eventually did.

2 years ago after the show at the Wiltern, my friend wanted to go to a strip club for his birthday. I forget the name of the place we went, but it was a few miles from the Wiltern. Anyway, we stayed for about 30 minutes, during which time I bought him a lap dance. I just hung out and drank a coke b/c I'm very happily married and don't really drink. In any case, we were about to leave, when the intro for Butterflies & Hurricanes came on. Out came a beautiful brunette who looked very much like Liv Tyler. She had choreographed a routine that somehow made the whole experience beautiful rather than seedy... or at least the "cigarettes" made it seem that way. It was truly a surreal experience, and a fitting end to a night of Muse in LA, the land of fornication.

You can't say that they are unknown here. But Stefan Raab (German entertainer, quite famous especially among teenagers and young adults) does not know Muse, haha, and I think he believes himself to be informed about music. I'm sure Feeling Good was used in a nescafe advert for about a week... after that it was some random band singing Feeling Good instead - I never did find out why Muse were replaced, but I'm quite happy they were! I don't want to think of nescafe when I hear Muse!
And muse get £50,000 for nescafe being twats.. and what do they do with it?.. give it to charity!
bless 'em :)

Also, I might add I work at Currys and we have this crappy Philips Wireless Stereo. It costs about £600 because of it's hard drive and coolness. I thought I'd take the pleasure of uploading the CD to the hard drive and it was all you could hear in the store all day. Someone then changed it to Kaiser Chiefs but I saved the day.

I was listening to BBC1 at my work in Providence. They played KOC and the people in the store stopped and inquired who the band was... I was bouncing ! I told them MUSE and they're coming to town August 2nd. A few people really liked them. I've also heard them on WBRU radio in Providence. I would love to see them on the TODAY SHOW or Jay Leno. We don't have anything like TOtP here.

I heard Muse at Rainbow Fun House at my brothers friends party once. I ahd to just sit there when they were just running around going mad.
