Turned on the telly today and managed to catch Starlight on Channel 4's Glorious Goodwood, they had the intro on a constant loop for a good minute or two while they went over the week's races :)

I heard Starlight on an enviromental psa a few days ago
Heard Muscle Museum twice today, once at 2.50pm and once at 3.50pm. Where? Adams Park! It's the new music that Wycombe Wanderers players run out to, certainly impressed me when they started playing it, and to hear it at half time as well made up for a crappy first half. Wooo at whoever chose MM as the new music.

I was walking home from the beach with the mrs today and some guy walked past in a bit of a hurry. As he passed me I realised I could hear knights of cydonia coming from his headphones.

was in a harvey norman store saturday and they were playing exo-politics in the entertainment area.
I was informed that they were playing on one of the local AM radio shows. Weird, they're normally Top 40 folks.
They played Supermassive Black Hole on Xfm just before 5pm on Saturday, on the S&M Show (catchy, I know ;)). The DJ said "this is my favourite live muse track, it's where they pull out all the fireworks and the smoke and the special effects" or something... Hmmm.

Well, I pulled up my keyboard from the basement because I was trying to learn Butterflies and Hurricanes and New Born. The thing also teaches songs and I just so happened to glance at the titles and one said "House of the Rising Sun." Now, I'm pretty sure it was Animals' version but still. It sounded just like Muse's version, too... maybe I'm just becoming delusional and am dying to see them anywhere! Haha!

I heard Butterflies & Hurricanes on Kink FM about 10 minutes ago.
Before the song in 'Kink FM News Headlines' they talked about Who Knows Who and that they weren't sure if it was really a song made by Muse and The Streets or just by an overenthusiastic fan. They clearly haven't heard the whole story, one look on muse.mu would've been enough.

I heard Muse from my best friend - didn't pay attention to it.
One day we were lying down on her bed, listening to some music, and Shine Acoustic plays. Then Sing For Absolution. I fell in love instantly, more so because I was under the effect of... things. Since then I know each and every one of their songs, and there's not a single one that I dislike in any way.

On University Challenge just now you had to guess what the original artist and song title was of a classical cover..
It was some string quartet covering Time Is Running Out.
I nearly jumped off the sofa!

Don't really heard, but I was in bookstore in my local bookshop (I live in a realllyyy small town) and I started to turn the pages in a book called "1001 albums you should hear before you die" (on Swedish) and it was filled with stuff like David Bowie (he was on the front aswell), Rage Against the Machine and really good music and I was thinking "Muse should really be in this.. Absolution would do it" and suddenly - Muse on a page.. Not Absolution though, but Black holes and I felt a very warm and prowd feeling spread in my body. Something whatsoever related to Muse in my HOMETOWN!? Big shock.

Trying to send a message to the band MUSE
This is what I wrote on the MUSE message board.
My name is Adam. I'm a recent cancer survivor. I'm your average Canadian dude trying to accomplish something pretty special. During my Chemo days I constantly listened to Butterflies and Hurricanes as well as New Born (also My Chemical Romance's Welcome to The Black Parade and Cancer; Pink Floyd's Shine On You Crazy Diamond, High Hopes and Coming Back To Life!)
During treatment, all I wanted was another chance to live (New Born) and show case my poker skills and do something special about it. Well last week I won a World Poker Tour Event and I am using that platform for good. I'm trying to organize a massive donation run for cancer research in Niagara Falls in mid Oct, 2008 (Butterflies and Hurricanes - be the best, change the world, use this chance to be heard)
Believing in something with all your heart and mind is a pretty damn powerful tool. The backers are being contacted right now. As of today, I have two for sure and the other 3 will be on board as soon as they are contacted. I'm sure of it.
please see my blog for more details - http://belive1977.blogspot.com/; my email is belive1977@hotmail.com
Somehow I need to let the band members of MUSE know that I've been inspired by their music and am doing ALL I can to get this going. They are my fave band, hands down.

'Plug In Baby' at #12 on the 'Let There Be Rock' countdown on our music channel C4's 'U Choose 40' here in NZ. Cue squeeing in delight and a desperate search for the remote to crank the volume. Just why is it so exciting seeing Muse on the TV when you can always grab something from your collection and put them on there yourself?! I'm not sure, but it certainly makes my day.
I still loathe Matt's guitar in that video though. It's too Dire Straits for words.

Muse gets played on the radio quite a lot 'round here but for me it's weird because it's often right when I get in the car and flip on the radio. :stunned:
The weirdest one was where I was driving to the airport to fly to London to go see Muse at RAH and Starlight got played on Live 105 right as I got to the airport. Then, when I got back, they played SMBH right as I was driving out of the airport parking lot. Then, later that same evening, after I had stopped at a friend's house for dinner on the way home, I got back in my car and was just getting on the freeway and I hear "This is Matt from Muse and you're listening to the Bay Area's only Live 105"! and then they played MOTP. :stunned:
