:LOL: sorry, I get pedantic when it comes to Greek and Roman mythology...there used to be this weekly trivia thing at my school and one week it asked "who was the Roman god of sleep and dreams?" I got really mad because I told them that there was no Roman god of both sleep and dreams and they said yes there was. Then some kid said "Morpheus" and he won the prize. First of all, Morpheus is Roman and second, he is only the god of dreams.
I was trying to help my stepdad's grad school tutor student with a poem she had to illustrate ("Song of Apollo") and it blew me away that she had no idea who Apollo was

PRIAPUS: Long-standing God of Virility and Fertility.
He's the brother of HYMENAEUS and the son of beautiful APHRODITE, but there's some confusion over his father's identity.
ZEUS, APOLLO or DIONYSUS are the most likely candidates. But we incline towards ZEUS because his wife HERA (a jealous rival in the beauty stakes) put a curse on the unborn baby which resulted in him being delivered plug-ugly and impotent.
He was so utterly revolting that the Gods kicked him out and PRIAPUS fell to Earth. The unhappy child was fostered by nymphs and shepherds, which brought him during his formative years into contact with the piping hot band of PAN and the Satyrs, a group well-known for their wild animalistic behaviour and outrageous sexual exhibitionism.
He was always well-attended by nymphs and their nymphomania. But sadly, however much PRIAPUS lusted, he could not come up with the goods.
