as they're going to play a gig in london, I thought I'll start a thread about -M- :happy:
I *love* that band and I'll be more than happy if they could break in UK, so if you feel curious, pm me your msn and I'll send mp3... but I can tell you it's great, go and see them !!!

well, we have to admit -M- is great everywhere, then it's a matter of taste...
my first gig was in l'olympia in Paris (not the night the DVD was released though), small venue, great show !
saw him a lot since, but the best was Amiens in february *daydreams*

I was there !! :D I saw him in l'Elysée Montmarte... they were no gig planed in Paris, it was unexpected, I don't even remember how I knew it and succed to get tix :unsure:
it was great, there was a jamming with Keziah Jones, and to ask for an encore (and he did a lot, as usual), the crowd was singing 'à tes souhait' that has been heard for the first time just a few minutes ago ! :cool: just great :happy:

I think Matthieu met her when they did the gig in Montréal, so she's canadian, and i don't know if she's well-known there, but the point of the duet was to make her start in France

No no, listen to the live song (from Tour De M), the last 2 minutes of Je Dis is just the crowd clapping, and the last minute, a boring riff, while you're hearing the crowd talking...

well sorry I didn't know how to re-cut the song, the end is endeed unseless, it's the sound of the crowd leaving the venue and some random riff of M played on because the gig is over ( I send you the version of the last encore, better than the one played at the beginning of the gig I tought)

I never heard they were angry at each other. Maybe it's just a joke from the magazine. Or if they had an argue or something, it has to be very recent, because when -M- was on OuiFM ( I know I must still send to you the recording) he talked about Sinclair in friendly way if I remember ... even if I doubt -M- would say anything in public about that, considering how discreet he usually is about private stuff...
I'm confused too actually :unsure:

well, I recommend lives better than studio records ( lot of people think he's better on stage )
so you can choose between "Le Tour de -M-" which contains songs from the 2 first albums, or "En Tête à Tête", with songs from the 3 albums.
my opinion would be Le Tour de -M-, but it's very personal, I like the third album less and I'm less found of big venues...
