There used to be a commune in the war near Squires Gate apparently, now they're just all over the shop and the Polish Society meets once a week :D (I need to find out where...) but otherwise I guarantee you'll find hundreds in the library, Lidl, or at the Pleasure Beach.

That and I'm allergic to ginger :D

It's sooooo cool (yet bloody itchy) but it's a rainbow jumper! *loves it* I could do with some snow. It's nearing on 10 years since we last had it. :'(

Nope! Although I made my wife cry cause I wrote her a really long email in that true, soppy 'you're a great friend and I wuv you' style. It's Heineken I'm afraid.

Mmm too right he was. As was Stravinsky <3

S'the 10th September. I wanted to buy tickets for it today/Manchester's Proms in the Park.. but it's sooooooooo hexpensive. :stunned: (well, the Manc one isn't too bad)

Mmmm you seem quite used to Pole-stalking round teh Pool :D Yer, you definately need to find out where they're hiding...maybe you'll find Ewa there too...mmm...

Ah, I'm sure you could skip ginger in ginger bread...after all, we call them 'pepper cookies' here. And it's indeed compulsory to have ginger bread in Sweden...I'm sure you could find some non-ginger ones

That. Jumper. Is. Fah. Hah! Buloooous! I love it *this* big! <3

Awww that's really nice of you  I love those kinds of letters, especially writing them, when you know someone's going to cry...errr... :D

Stravinsky's nice but scary...errrr...

Oh, do they have those in a lot of cities? I remember them broadcasting from at least a few more cities aside from Luhndon when they showed it 'ere. Any chance of Bryn again?

You can't help but bump into them, learn the haunts and go there on a regular basis... ahem. :$ Aww Ewa <3 I miss her.

Oooh like dutch Peppernoten? I wonder if Swedish gingerbread is different then... Ours is horrible.

Meehehehe and it's aaaaall mine *snuggles into zee jumper*

Yeah, I'd been reading the yearbook and got all teary, so I thought "now's the best time" and yeah.. she choked up and then we talked about Sweden.. and Abba made me cry and... also, you should watch out, because...

I don't mind your lies so keep on talking sagt:
i still want pelles hair

I don't mind your lies so keep on talking sagt:
if i ever see him again, im going to get him drunk, shave his head and run away with his hair in a jar

Jag är tråkig. (gone for beer) sagt:
haha I'll tell him that

Oooh he's just divine! All that 7/4 time.

Yeah, one in Manchester, Hyde Park, Brum and somewhere else... Cardiff I think... The Manchester one's only a tenner.. hmmm. Possibly, Bryn's been flavour of the year on the BBC after he did an AMAZING performance as Wotan in The Ring Cycle. God he was just... AMAZING. Words can't express... wow. Yeah.

 Zackly, 's not that hard...like the library in Yernsherping  Mmm. Awww you should phone up Ewa and run off with her with some pierogi and a bottle of Zubrówka  I'm sure she'd love that. With thousands of Solidarnosc manifestoes in your bags to spread the word of Poland <3.

Nee, not like peppernoten I don't think, my sister makes those though...mmm...these are Swedish pepparkakor:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/7f/200px-Freshly_baked_gingerbread_-_Christmas_2004.jpg
God, they're so...so...mmm...and especially when you're seven and eat most of the dough before you've barely made 20 of them...

Remember to bring it to Zweeeeden so you won't freeze and get eaten by an ice bear. <3 Also bring it so I can steal it.

ABBA made you cry? What song? Awwww hope you're not crying anymore now though *hugs*

Hahahaha, next time I get a haircut (which will be soon cause it's HORRID!) I'll take the remains, put them in a zip lock bag and mail it to her  Hmmm I wonder what I could do to my hair to stop it from being so dull...I'd quite like it to be a bit more wavey, but I'm afraid that wouldn't work out at all...argh!

7/4...errrrrrrr...that is vile! Whatever happened to more civilised time signatures like...errm...6/8? <3

I can imagine! <3 Stupid Sweden that doesn't cover mr Terfel's career more intimately :indiff: Is he very gay though?

Bl.a.

Hands off my jumper. :indiff:

The Winner Takes it All :$ They played it loads when we were in teh Stockholm, so I got all nostalgic again. I'm like a bloody leaking tap I tells ya

She'd love you for that. She really would. After you left us in Stockholm she went on about your hair for aaaaages. DULL? I would kill a thousand babies for your hair. Wavey hair is a pain. *points to mass of gay hair*

It's GENIUS. And oh, oh so Russian. 6/8's good, but so Baroque.

He's married with about 50 million kids, lives not too far from where the old family is. If his Wotan is ever on again, I'll tape it for you, cause it's just the greatest thing.

You do? Then what're you doing here? Down a Heinie and warm up that phone

Alright then, didn't know what proper British ginger bread was  Mmmm shortbread...I just fell in love with that on the Shetlands...mmmm...cheap tea and shortbread at the B&B...<3

:'( I've never actually had a jumper, I'm too much of a shirt person...I'm sure I could use one now though...mmm...*glares viciously on Rhiân's jumper* You have to sleep sometime...errr...

Mmmm Winner takes it all...I actually like one ABBA song, but I can't for the life of me remember which one  You'll have to come to Lund and we'll have a patented Wine-and-ABBA-evening...mmm...and oh, I've already decided what to buy on the 6th...found out they have the best calvados ever at Systemet here...Domaine de la Vectière...*drool* And of course my 1½ litre bottle of armagnac me rents got me. Everyone needs a student survival kit innit

Awww *proud* I'll send you some too then.

Mmmmm baroque...so non-complicated and non-descript. 'S like easy listening it is. <3

Married with kids, that's gay enough for me...mmm...

WOO! PANI EWA!

It looks like little men, and I think does actually have ginger in it. Eeevil. Shortbread's brilliant. SO unhealthy, but if you dip it into hot milky tea... Mmmm.

Aww. I'm all about the jumper and shirt look. *loves my jumper* You'll ne'er e'er get me jumper. NEVER. *takes it off and hides it* HA.

AAAALL the Abba songs are great. My mum brainwashed me with them when I was small. Wine and Abba? Sounds beyoooodiful (especially if it's red wijn) oooh.

How bloody posh are Swedish students though? Calvados and Armagnac? Jaaaaysus. S'nice to listen to, but sooo boring to play. Except maybe Bach's fugues... mm contrapuntal.

Mmm little gingerbread men...are you over the story yet? It's quite morbid eating gingerbread though because of the rituals of maiming them religiously  Mmm...I'm sure you'd like Swedish 'dreams', small cookies, that are a bit like shortbread, and oh so fat though they look innocent and dry...mmm...

Jumpers and shirts, 's nice that  I've been trying to ease myself into the thought that I should try larger sweaters, thanks to mr. Marr, but I don't know...I've been wearing to small shirts and everything for 4 years now, so why stop

Grew up with ABBA then? Errr. I would never had survived that childhood...but I wonder what's the most traumatising, the Communards or ABBA? :D (Though I must admit I have nothing against the Communards, but that's me dad's fault. Ruddy git.)
Mmm yes of course red wijn...I had white today just because, and I still have disturbing flashbacks from evenings past. I actually had some ibuprofen for the knee too, with no complications whatsoever...I wonder what the fuss with alcohol and pills is about :D Mmmm Errazuriz, the best red wijn this side of Leningrad.

Yer, I guess I'll be quite posh...that'd be as a result of me rents' sentimental state...let's see how long it lasts :D

Albinoni though, that's heaven to play. Mmm.

Just about. I'd managed to forget about it until today hactually... in the book I had the gingerbread man looked like a psycho you see.

S'a brilliant combination... if you get too warm, there's always a handy shirt underneath. Although I do dress like my ma circa 1972. I found a picture the other week.. and it's scary how similar we look/dress. (well, 19 year old mum, not 50 year old mum)

Yup. Mummy's cheesy pop and new romantic boho music and daddy's punk/mod crossover. Would sooner have had a Communard though. The best wijn. Since after results day I'm never having white EVER again.

Ah ibuprofen and drink isn't too bad (we went to the Heineken museum after I'd had some...) but Ibuprofen codeine and booze is a BAD BAD idea. Better than a cheapo bottle of Hardy's?

Ahhh probably not that long... 2 days before you end up in a gutter, stinking of brandy and singing Smiffs songs to tramps

Pff Oboe. Watching the proms earlier, I couldn't decide who looked worse, oboe players or clarinet players... they just do NOTHING for your face when playing.

Krasnojarsk
27-08-2005, 11:35 PM
 Aww poor you, children's book's illustrations shook the very foundation my life stood on when I was little, and I'm still not over it. What's the bloody point of scary books for toddlers? They're no good at all I tells ye, just crap. My sister also forced me to watch Psycho when I was around 9-10, and I honestly couldn't sleep for 4 years after

Mmhmm, yeckzackly. Similar dressing genes then? Me dad dressed really cool and marxist like in the 70's, I'd quite like that. :D

Mmm 's a good mix right there  You'd sooner what les Communards though? Errr. "On VH1 tonight, the band that created the non descript genre: The Communards! *cue nasal singing*"

I'm sure you'd give in to some nice Riesling though...mmm...Ammerschwir...'s like refined petrol...<3

That does sound like a bad mix yer... I wouldn't know 'bout Errazuriz being better than Hardy's, but it's 15% which makes it divine per automatic definition...mmm. Had that at Jan's in Stockholm...you're guaranteed to be drunk in the morning no matter how much you drink...'s amazing! <3

That's probably true :'( Then they'll probably change their locks and surnames, sell my earthly possessions and I'll be forced to move to my biological father in Lodz.

Both instruments look stupid when you're playing them really...but oboe has that natural grâce about it, so well... :D

Jazzlady

My mum had to spend several hours telling me that it couldn't get out of the book to hurt me. It looked so, so evil though. YEESH your evil sister! I still can't watch Psycho now, but at 9... I'm surprised you can shower without having breakdowns.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v13/jazzlady/mum19.jpg exactly the same. Swap that jumper for a green one over my embroidered shirt and the cords for jeans... scaaaaary.
Exactly, non descript. Here it was either Abba/Filthy Collins, Enya or Adam and the Ants from me ma or The Jam, T Rex and The Who from me pa.

I think Hardy's is about 13% you can drink it like fruit juice. Mmmm. But yeesh that Errazuriz sounds potent  I'll keep an eye out in Tesco.

Aw there there *pats* just think though, you can work the fields and talk about your extended feeemeeleeey eeen Bleeckpool, as no good Polish family has just 7 kids...

Oboe? Grâce? I'm sorry, you're clearly confusing it with the clarinet... (Stupid oboe for getting ALL the orchestra glory and solos.)

Politics and music are a beautiful combination, save for Coldplay/U2. Aww I've got aaaaall of the LPs on top of me wardrobe. Best thing about dad moving to Ghana was him leaving his record collection

Ahh quiffage.

Of course! Would you like some neon pink Ibuprofen too? The moral to the story is: DON'T FIDDLE WITH GUITARS. This is why my bass lies in pieces over there *points*

Is that so!? They reaaaally should have a Tesco's in the student ghetto innit, they'd be making loads of dosh. Don't you at least have a Lidl for German wurst goodness? Otherwise it's proper rubbish. Imagine how much Hardy's wijn they could sell there. Mmm.

Yup, there was a Torygraph special edition on her way back in L6 so he cut out a picture of her and stuck it over the Blackboard with 'All Hail St. Maggie' over the top. God that guy's a legend. 's'sad that I'll miss the teachers more than 80% of my year  I've got it on at'moment hactually. S'less itchy than the stripey one. Nope, no rugby shirt :( I'll have to make a day trip to Bangor (ooooh didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Baaaaangor) to get one me thinks. Mmm All Blacks. The mortal enemy of any person who supports any non New Zeland national Union team.

Mmmm, I bet they'd probably offer to carry me bags, then come in for a brew after. <3 Having said that, if I were to wear a hijab in the current political climate here, I'd probably get arrested/shot by the police. Win win situation. Oooooooh buy a Jilbab. Thems nice them is.

Three? Yeesh. I've got a spare Nevsky Babouska bought commie hat pin here that's going begging, if ye want?

 Hahahaha, brilliant, simply brilliant! I also like it how t'Graph actually does specials just for her. Bless.
Was your year that bad? I'm really jealous about your teachers anyway...at least from your descriptions :D They sound quite nice to be honest...Tory teachers, that's about as good as they come really...mmm...

Can I have the stripey one then if it's too itchey? Mmm. I could grow into itchyness, it'd sooo be worth it! <3 Mmm go to Bangor, and get a hayoooge Welsh drapeau to sport on t'flygplats next time you go abroad...mmm.
All Blacks are quite charming yes

Exactly, Britain's surely going the 'right' way when it comes to politics. I can imagine police officers will be really good shots at the end of the year at this rate  "Good job inspector, you managed to hit the head with each shot! Good on ye lad!"
Mmmmmm jilbab...they look so comfy  Plus, with some sandals I'd make quite the Jesus replica bar the beard

Commie hat pin? A hammer and sickle one? Cool :D

Ooh s'nice that. Better cancel your holiday to Israel if you by that mind.

Just called the travel agent's. :D Hmmm, now should I get down to Lund and order these shemaghs or wait for the ruddy Commie bookstore to send me mine from Sweden? :indiff: Ffwls.

Yup. <3 Torygraph. Nah our year was pretty good really. There was only about 60 of us, so we were all quite close by Sixthform standards. I was sooooo lucky as far as teachers go. All the types of teachers that you could buy a pint for if you saw them in the pub. <3

I may let you borrow it... reluctantly. Nice and British, are thick itchy woolly jumpers. Mmm, Bangor, then pop over to Pentraeth and Beaumaris to stock up on Bara Brith. Mmmmmmmmm.

I'm sure that in police stations here, they have things on the wall as like a points system. 10 points for every Muslim, lose a point for a Sikh. :indiff:
God the Catholic church up the road'd be so proud. Try telling the.. gah what's the word for church goers... CONGREGATION! AHA! that Jesus was nothing but an unshaven arab Jew...

Yeah! I dunno if you remember, but I had one on the lapel of my pink jacket. I bought two in the hope that I could find a good home for the second, and couldn't. So s'all yours if you want

You could always wait another week (cause sometimes stuff can take 28 days) and then phone them up and shout/get them in Lund.

60? We were looooads of people in my year. Guess the less the better innit. Buying pints for teachers...errr...at least my fizzsticks teacher still smiles at me when he probably says 'worthless ffwll' under his breath. I could buy him a pint only for the smile though  You should take mr Golding and Ewa out for a pint of wódka really. <3

Mmmmm thick jumpers...soo nice...and Ynys Môn...I've always imagine Welsh and Anglesey people wearing thick jumpers, day in, day out...mmm. <3 Bara Brith, is that the sponge cake with raisins in it?

Gits they are. 'S funny how a government can be allowed to almost issue a 'license to kill' policy...'s like Soviet I tell you.
 Hahaha, yer, that'd stir them right up :D You should try it, dressed only in items from simplyislam.com <3

Ooooh I remember now! Mmmm them's really nice, they'd particularly look good on t'shemagh too :D
They said 14 days on t'website...but sod it, I'll probably order from simplyislam, face the charges and get something (http://simplyislam.com/iteminfo.asp?item=52012) I've needed for shemaghs for yeeears! Imagine sitting in that, drinking wine and reciting Das Kapital <3

Mmm it was nice having a small year. The gossip network was fabulous. Hehe a bit like my maffs teacher that. Aw that'd just be the best night out ever. Ewa, Mr. G, maybe Jenko and.. ahhh.

Well, certainly the farmers of Ynys Môn wear wellies and woolly jumpers all year round. It's cold on the island. Nay, Bara Brith is just a nice Welsh fruit bread, with like rasins and orange peel and stuff. Makes great toast. Mmmmm.

It's funny and ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING. At least the Soviets had the excuse of Stalin and deep mortal fear. What excuse does Britain have? We're employing the American mentality of "quick, brown people, pass me my AK47" :indiff:

You'll have to PM me yer address again then and I'll post it ye next week or summit. Hahaha brilliant. Have you read the comments underneath the picture? I shouldn't find them funny.. but aaahahaha.

Mmmm gossip, I can imagine <3. Mmm I miss slagging off people in other classes. Hopefully we'll have some hierarchy in Lund with the Rusks on top

Sounds marvellous, a place for Pelle, not including the wellies..errr. If they're not bright and shiny that is, then they might be quite nice actually. Mmm red ones with sail boats on them. Pure brilliance.
Fruit bread toast? Sounds quite interesting  I want to go to Whayuls even more now. Mmm. My rents were right

:indiff: You should move to Sweden before we get too friendly with Tone and adopt the exact same thing...though I could see it happening here, 's just that we have a nice buffer with all the fake commies pretending to care bout the brownies :indiff: I'm guessing it won't be long until our biggest populist party, the 'Sweden Democrats', gains some mandate in the parliament...you have to get 4% of the votes to be included, and probably it's not too far away. Then my shemagh wouldn't be liked very much. God I hate stupid politics. At least under Maggie you knew what to think :D

I'll PM it  Me rents'd have to bring it to me later on since I don't have an address in Lund yet

God knows. Ugh why oh why has the Western world become like it has? It's silly. Under Maggie you knew what to think, because you were told what to think.

Roine proposed to Ann on an Inverness ferry too, so you can see romance runs in our blood  Oh dear.

'S rubbish. I guess I can flee to Britain and hide out in a council estate for the rest of my life and they'll never find me. Haha!

Haha aww how British. I don't think we even have sleeper trains anymore. Damn privatisation. Aww that is quite romantic though.

Ahhh, ours is still based on income. If you earn less than £15k a year or die, you don't have to pay it back. Wooo! And if you've not paid it off by the time you're 65, they cancell it. :D Live as a tax exile. They can't do owt then.

Innit just! Just looking at it makes you forget your agony. It's that special Dutch attitude to drugs. 400mg over the counter! I was stunned! They only do 200mg here, and even then they ask you loads of questions to make sure you're not buying it to commit suicide with

Sleeper trains are greeeet! I bet they made them illegal after being too liberal with who could share carriage with whom <3. 'S the cafflicks it is. Aw, a bit romantic then maybe. In its own special way.

Argh, that sounds great! Then the state are quite compelled to do their best to ensure jobs for all them linguists if they really want the dosh back. The streets of (central) Manchester are paved with gold, ambition, joy, niceness... (and the odd bit of chewing gum, litter and student vomit) ahhh. Sweden is though. The most violent things are the cyclists and the doors (because all Swedish doors open the wrong way *was stuck in the Airport toilet cubicle for ages the first time, thinking I was locked in, but really the door just opens the wrong way* )

TWO? Pah, that's nothing. That's probably the same as what we get at the beginning of chuck out time on a Friday night.

They are  Especially when border control bang on the door at 3am <3 Hehe probably. Two girls we met in Petersburg said that their 17 hour overnight from Riga to Moscow was spent trying to sleep whilst there was another couple at it like rabbits apparently. British reserve is there for peaceful nights. Innit.

It's much more romantic than the way my dad proposed to my mum. "let's face it Peg, we're going to get married, we just need to fix a date." (all said in dad's van, over fish and chips. )

Sure it soooounds great, but they screw you. They screw you baaaad. Mmm off-shore.

Yup, you're only allowed to buy 12 paracetemol in one go here. Then they ask you if you've taken it before, know how to take it, are taking any other medication, all the while they're screening you for suicidal tendancies. You're also not allowed to buy painkillers if you're under 16. Stupid laws. Ahh yes, pink and happy. Mmmmm. S'like methodone. That's a beautiful shade of green.

Mmmm border control. At least you were unconscious during the wait, we had to sit trembling and giggling with fear waiting for them for an hour or so. Errr. Fun. <3

Mmmm so coal-miney! :D But since he seems like a cool guy he can get away with things like that see.

They do though don't they though? Come join me on Jersey. <3

Tha'ss silleeeh! Have you ever been denied to buy them? :D 'S stupid though we only get painkillers, and aspirine and everything in pharmacies. Ruddy monopoly fascists.
You seem to know an awful lot about methadone...no wonder you know what the questions are like. Errr.

Well central Manchester isn't real Manchester. It's the same as any city centre anywhere in the world (except Stockholm, because it only has one H&M). It's a predicament is road crossing abroad. Although I've mastered it and now the biggest risk is the fact I always forget to look right before left now. But no. Push the button, wait for the beep and the green man.

The worst one was our Finland Russia crossing... they just.. vanished with our passports, then abused us in angry Russian... then a Finnish lady tried to explain stuff to us in Finnish.. and oh GOD I thought we were going to get shot. (According to my Trans-Siberian book, half of the customs/officials aren't actually mentally stable enough to carry guns.)

Ah he is a cool guy. Spoke to him on the phone today, expressing my finance woes to Bank of Daddy, to which he told me to "get a job on Whalley Range then". Nothing quite like that paternal care...

Yup, once. I had an awful migrane in town and was ready to die, went to Boots and the woman said "I can't serve you without ID" to which I had a big go at her (migranes make you cranky) went to superdrug, returned to Boots and consumed my painkillers that I'd bought in Superdrug infront of the evil cow who wouldn't serve me. HA.

My doctors surgery is on the middle of Blackpool's second roughest council estate.. s'how I know :D

Aww *knufje* you'll be reeeeet lad! Just think of all the fun you'll have, innit :) besides, you'll be a student, you get to sit on your arse and do nothing for 80% of the time anyway. The other 20% is divided equally to 10% drinking and turning up to lectures and 10% for 'general interests'

If I'm not killed by arabs on the first day in Madchestoh I'm guessing the strangely driving cars'll get me. I almost die daily in Swedish traffic, so errr. :$

 That sounds like quite the scary experience! We just got told by our teacher to greet them very politely, so we did, and no angry Russian, but vanishing passports nevertheless. So you still fancy doing the Trans-Siberian? Errr. It sounds ridiculously fun, but oh so dangerous. 'S a fine balance between carrying a lot of roubles for bribes, and too much to actually get mugged if the Rusks catch you counting it smugly. <3 Probably 90% of the Rusk population isn't stable enough to carry guns...mmm.

<3 Mmm that's lovely done by yer dad  It must be easier for him when you're moving out since he doesn't have to part with you and get all clogged throaty when you leave...thus no financial compensation. 'S evil. Promise him you'll put him in a nice retirement home of choice in southern France like I did with me rents. Smooths them right up! Now I'll just have to make it happen with my linguist dole pay. Unless I get filthy rich before that, which I will. No worries ever, 's what Sartre would've said. <3

Ah it's gone off now. Thanks to a good old glass of sinaasappelsap.

It's just sexy. It's even better for those with A Level Russian, they get 19th C Literature and Film, Russian History to 1917 and Russia from the revolution to present. Gits.

You know so

My mum takes great pride in telling me when she was at uni, all she had to pay for was drink and clothes. *grumbles* 1999/2000 were the best years. Mmmhm. Drink you Zubrówka instead... teehehe

God knows... ah well. They do alabic at the Language Centre anyway. Swedish is really annoying me. Now whenever I try and say Dutch/German words I have this terribly annoying Swedish accent which won't go away and insists on making everything tonal. :indiff: I'm sure you will do...

Swedish politics upsets me. In that... there's just nothing to it. At least here at election time we have to vote tactically to keep the Tories out which is great fun, and there's quite some passion felt. There was talk in the Independent a while back of us campaining to get Proportional Representation enforced here (mainly because the Indy felt that the Lib Dems would've won - which with hindsight, I'm glad they didn't) but god forbid, if they do that... then we'd become as vague as Sweden. (Much as I love Sweden.. just not your politics.) I should sleep. Or at least eat something...

I bet Olof Palme didn't :'( :'(

I missed out being old enough to vote by 17 days this time. Really damn annoying (although I got my mum to use her vote for me). What we had to do, was vote Labour anyway.. so that the ones who'd deflected from Labour in light of the Iraq war (and there were a lot - the Lib Dems hold their most seats since like 1920) to the 'minority' parties/Lib Dem wouldn't swing the difference between Labour and Tory too much. So where I would've voted Lib Dem in the Nationals, I voted Labour so that the Conservatives wouldn't get in.

Then in the local elections, our seat is such a strong Tory Seat (is waiting, and I think my head is burning...) it didn't matter how I voted, since it wouldn't have made a difference. So then I voted Libs.

Had we had P.R then all of that would've been unnecessary, Lib Dems probably would've secured a slight victory (from what I've been told) and uni would be free. However Charlie would've stuck a spanner in the works with most things. So it's best really. *keeps telling herself* Once Gordon Brown (texture like sun) cleans up Tony's Mess over these next five years, hopefully we'll be back on track. And if Kenny Clarke wins the Conservative Leader vote, we'll be sorted. I can't think of anything better than Brown vs. Clarke. It'll be like the 1997 elections all over again.

And my addendum: I'm going back to bed. *dies* :horns:

Whoa British politics :D I must admit you have a much more interesting political climate. All we do is trying to tell ourselves the parties differ...after all one bloc is 'left' and the other 'right', but at the moment the right-wings are becoming a bit of a workers' party.
Mona, of course I'll vote, would never do otherwise...only thing I could do is leave a 'blank' vote.

I must admit I'm dissapointed with the right alliance right now, though everyone says they won yesterday's debate. The national TV network that showed the debate made a poll amongst the viewers, the right won, but today it turns out only 80 or something out of the 300 asked actually watched the whole thing...that's horrendous. Seems like even the national networks are teaming up with the fascists. <3
I can't believe they want to lower the unemployment support to 5000kr a month or less...it's sick! They can't have studied even the least bit national economics if they think they 'spur' people to get a job in that way...it doesn't make sense, if you get no support from the government after you lose your job, and there is now chance of getting another one, what to do? Lay down and die?
It's horrible. Bloody fascists. Decreased support may 'spur' people to get jobs, but if there are no jobs? I'm so tired of this country.
Also, one of the right party's most frequently used argument; 'if the social democrats haven't done a good enough job thus far, why would they do it tomorrow?' Hmmm, it's fun to look back at '94 after the right parties made our country hit rock bottom

Sorry :$

I will cherish the increased risk of DVT. Mmmmm. Not long before I get to abandon it though... although I doubt I will abandon it. Couldn't see the absolutly irrelivant Muse i Sverige thread die a sorry death... or, god forbid... actually become about Muse in Sweden.

It's quite good, is our political climate. As I very, very vaguely remember explaining in Stockholm on the Malcolm night, it's all over the place, with the socialists becoming this that and the other. Hopefully when Gordon takes over from Tone Labour will re-socialistise. (You never see Gordon wearing a blue tie.. oh no sir. He ALWAYS wears a read one. Unlike Tone.) See, for a country so vague and sketchy with politics, you always manage to have debates on telly. We're lucky if we get extracts from PM's Question Time on Newsnight. :indiff: However we do have the BBC Parliament Channel <3 <3 Rebel MPs and Back Benchers <3 Mmmmhm.

There was talk of lowering dole money here a few years back. I think that's when Johnny M drove the final nail in the Tory coffin... but then Labour went on to 'reform' benifits into some dubious "Job Seekers' Allowance" with so many hidden traps... Ah the Social Democrats have done their job well, by making Sverige one of the most expensive countries to live in in Europe. Good old fugal system of most 'socialist' run systems.

Anyway, I'll stop now. We've got a new kitten and it wants to play with my toes. OW.

Haha yes. AND THE TORY SEAT IS WAITING AND MICHAEL HOWARD'S BURNING....

Haha starting a band in Ghana? *shakes head* the Ghanaian attitude to life is about fifty times more laissez-faire than mine so that'll neeeever happen.

Nah, no regular prezzie opening, just that dad's a bit hexcited as well :D And, who's leaving teenagerdom behind? Errrr. It's only just begun.

Me 'rents do have faith in me though, now I'll have to do me best to actually put them in the old people's home I promised them when I was 7 :D. All the best politicians die. At least shooting/stabbing them is nice and obvious, and not smothered in MFI.. MI5 hush them up jobbies.

Twenteen are we tomorrow then? WOOOOOWZAH! Look at that, you very lucky almost birthday boy! That's what you've been after for a while, innit? You'll be fetching beers for a looooooong, looooooong time! (And I suspect buying them, since it'll be propah legal :D)

Я вас любил

Я вас любил: любовь ещё, быть может,
В душе моей угасла не совсем;
Но пусть она вас больше не тревожит;
я не хочу печалить вас ничем.
Я вас любил безмолвно, безнадежно,
То робостью, то ребностью томним;
Я вас любил так искренно, так нежно,
Как дай вам Бог любимой быть другим

Ahh excellent. Are we to expect you in a drunken stupour by lunchtime tomorrow then?

Half a litre? Yeeeesh. That's some strong caffeine withdrawl. Try not to have too much more though.. or you'll be up all night, and forced to watch a Cardiff drag queen swap places with the tenor of the greatest Welsh Male Voice Choir on BBC2 at 6am...

In all honesty? Errrr :D

Phonetics is crap and you shouldn't have to do it. I hate doing all those theoretical things when you already know how to pronounce everything, guess it's for the professorship later on when you start writing books  So would you actually pick Russian over German? Isn't there even maybe a small course in in Russian (or German) you could do part-time or something?
Russkii Iazyk...mmmm...'s nice that. Just noticed I have to buy "Russia: A history", deemed very revisionist and stupid by the Amazon reviewers...I honestly hate it how you can't criticise anything about Russia when you do Russian...'s ridiculous! Though I've heard some teachers here are very good at separating emotions for Russia from common sense, and that's nice...my Russian teacher didn't really like me insinuating negative things about Putin  She'd always whip out the old KGB badge she had in the classroom cupboard <3
'Stavning av vokaler efter konsonanter som inte ingår i palatalitetskorrelation' is the 'spelling of vowels after consonants which do not take part in a palatality correlation' :D 'S quite logical though thank God...mmm...

I soooo need a hair flower! <3 Them's great. Mmm and fake eyelashes. I'd kill for some new eyes too. <3

Two hours 'realia', aka history lecture this evening...mmm...though I want to stay inside and play guitar. Going out means getting dressed and who can be arsed?

Teehee shame on you :p Don't forget to pretend to be interested in the family

Well, I've sent me options form off and I've got no choice :'( There was no way that German history would fit into my timetable :'( So's I've got phonetics, some linguisticy grammar module (yaaay! I can FINALLY find out why they put commas before subordinating clauses and why the verb always comes second... SEVEN YEARS TOO LATE!) a literature module with the same book we did for A Level (woo!) and something about Politics and Morality in German drama :D) Plus a boring compulsary one.

Of course you can't! You have to love it, worpish it and have Gorby as an MSN pic for all the world to see. S'a fact of life. Negative things about Putin? Nevooooh. Remember, now Yeltsin was the bad guy. Separate the truth from the what you've been told y'have to do with Russia. Gah books. *hates books* *had to spend around £200 on them yesterday* www.blackwell.co.uk <3 <3

Yeeehehe hair flowers. Wonderful.

Pah getting dressed. That's for the employed/those with ambition. I swear I'll go to all my seminars in my pyjamas. Specially now I have my new Russian coat to wear over the top. They'll never know. Haha.

Headwind's crap. We should integrate Motvind into the ingerlish language. (speaking of ingerlish language I had THE oddest dream last night. S'what we always did.. then we took the paper back to the Library for Mrs. Darkins to get pissed off about. Bwhahaha. May I say, the hip flask, guitar and jacket are looking most stunning

S'my one regret about not g'an Sheffield... could'a done Swedish there and got a year in a Swedish uni. Grrr. Ah well. Live and learn. I'll just move there for my vacations. Bwhahaha Mona would never notice :D

Ah wonderful! Quite the pad planned then! 11th November I think she's over... week after my reading week. D'oh.

Ooh, did you enjoy your night in your own bed? Mmm pubs  Aw cheers chuck  *doesn't want to move away now*

  Haha, hactually I haven't managed to do it yet, I'm even crap at Swedish crosswords so errr  English ones are sooo much nicer though. Mmmm yes. Quite the prankster you are then! Finding finished crosswords in newspapers caused some of the worst crimes of our times I've heard
:D 'S a nice flask yes <3 Me mum didn'a like my jacket being that small though...and neither did Lisa when I bought the size she wears and complained about it being large! Thin ice Pelle, thin ice!

Mmmm vacations'd prolly do, you're aaaalways welcome to Lund and aaaall of Tweedun! Mmm.

11th November, middle of the cooooold season it is? Brrrr. I'm sure it'll be great though, especially if you warm yourselves up with some snaps and alcool in general. <3 Reading week? :$ What's that again?

They put away my own bed so I'm sleeping on a legless bed on the floow :'( 'S so soft and nice though. Mmm. Smashed my head in the wall and the guitar mashed my cheek when I sat down thinking the bed was higher, but apparently it wasn't and into the wall I flew

Awwwww, moving away'll be nice I'm sure of it. Just look at me, I managed :D

Ah you must have a hard edition.. was it a Tuesday Grauniad? The earlier in the week, the harder the crossword. They know that by the end of the week, morale amongst the readers is so low, they make it dead easy. Haha wouldn't surprise me. Specially if it's the papers that people leave on trains (y'know, being polite you leave your read paper on the seat for the next person...)

Hehe. It doesn't look that small? Assuming you can move your arms around in it, then it's fine.

I will take you up on that, I hope you realise  Just like an arrangement of cushions on the floor of Casa Coggin should you wish to experience first hand the harsh reality of the north west

Just as it gets going :D Propah Manchestoh drizzle  Mmmm snaps. It's basically a week where students get time off to "read" or... go home/go on holiday/get drunk/stay in their jimjams all day. Easy life.

Aw those harsh parents! *hugs* Ah well, at least the legless one is comfy  Hehe whoops!

Yeah... s'all so big and scary though :stunned: However Manchester's union of Stoodents has got a Nordic Society... so I could sneak along to their meetings to try and get a passport... ahem... I mean.. make new friends.

Mmm yer Tuesday...couldn't even get one! Ruddy me. Errr. Grauniad's so nice though so I'll forgive them for any hard crosswords they may impose on me. <3

It is small and I can hardly move my arms around in it  But I reckon I'll be fine, when I buy jackets ('s all I buy these days <3) they tend to get smaller and smaller! Now my velvet jacket seems like a tent in comparison!

You're welcome any day :D The grand armagnac bottle will be open, snaps glasses ready and fired up, and a hard mattress on the floor <3 Mmm and singing, playing guitar and telling stories around the water boiler :D If I went to Rusholme though, I wouldn't be needing sleep for the entire time <3 Just alcohol and a dwarf to trip. (Oh what to be done with her?) <3

Mmmm that sounds nice. Ruddy Sweden that doesn'a do that. Fasciiiiists! I guess we'll just have to drink anyway, even if we don't get government regulated time-off to do it <3

*Hugs back* 'S definately nicer than the Lund 'bed' <3

Yeah Tuseday isn't a good day. It was the day we'd get most into trouble for the 'twat' variations... usually ending up in most faces in the G2 having comedy glasses and taches. Innit just wonderful? Ahhh *loves it, and its poor journalism*

Hehe, sounds simply wonderful

*packs bags and hides on a flight* I'll be there in a couple'a hours... Ahh sounds so spledidy Russian <3 I think if you went to Rusholme.. you wouldn't be allowed sleep, as casa Rhian is opposite Owen's Park (the notorious party halls of residence) and according to the UMSU website.. you don't go to Manc if you want sleep... :stunned:

Aw you may live in a land of fascists, but it's a wonderful one. I'd sieg heil to your sozial demokratische people any day. *disillusioned*

Ahh that's nice

Ooooh tack! I'm only going on the off chance they'll have a buffet of nothing but Läkerol, filmjölk and good coffee... see, all these wonderful things you Swedes take for granted...

Aww *points and laughs* speaking of Russian.. apparently, there's a Russian club at school now. We saw one of the Upper Sixth in the pub and he was saying that there's some new language teacher who speaks Russian... Ruddy sod's law is that. :indiff: *dances* aww life is just so, so wonderful. *loves life* :'(

See you then  I'll just have to move into my pad since I don't really get access to it till the 1st :indiff: I'm calling 'er tomorrow though to beg and beg for her to move out earlier. Mmm.
That really sounds like my kinda place  Mmmm party in Rusholme...'s what dreams are made of.

Filmjölk with knäckebröd and sugar in it though...mmm...childhood flashbacks <3 I'm sure a membership in the little Tweedish clwb could grant you a membership of the Socialist Soyuz of Shvetsiya too. "Ooh, she looks qualified, let's bring her here!" <3

Bwahaha! Till Tweedun! You would've hated what I was saying in the pub this evening.. telling everyone what a land of plenty and promise and joy it is  Ahh Sverige <3 <3 Leave that stardust there, y'pesky scamp. If she won't move out, just.. go round with an axe and a pitchfork, claiming she abuses children.. the locals will drive her out in no time. Ahhh Rusholme. I lived off that stuff in Stockholm.. it's just.. SO good. Mmmmm. Really bad for me, with all it's damn lactose.. but SO good. Mmmm. Hehe *crosses fingers* actually, Manc has loads and loads of socialist society things (which worry me.. as they're actually... serious. None of those pseudo-commies :stunned: )

Have you tried it? I just realised the Grand Test of Swedishness includes enjoying knäckebröd sandwiches with cheese, dipped in hot chocolate...'s my faaaavourite food evoh, 's fabulous, also what I had for lunch today (since me dad wanted to spoil me to make me forget I totally crushed him on le bike today  )

Woo! I shall swim accross. Let's hope the sharks don't get to me... You can get some form of knäckebröd here, but it's usually crap. They sound.. interesting. I do like knäckebröd! I had it with marmalade a few mornings for breakfast when I was ooover. Mmmmm.

Now now Pelle dear, calling her a bint isn't going to make her move out faster. Setting fire to her furniture whilst calling her a bint will. Depends who you flew with really... Ruffians only fly Sleasyjet and Ryanair. Don't you dare suggest a haircut again in my company sir. :stunned: :'(

 Just lovely! Like our local one mmmm. They put the p in crap really.

Knäckebröd and marmalade? Interesting! You have to try some sort of equvalent in Britain with cheese and hot chocolate though, doesn't sound like much, but it's oh oh so delicious. Especially after a looong snowball fight where blood flows on the calves from the gravel in the iceballs :D

 Hmm, may be true, I always rush into things, but it's good to have you there to sort me out!
Since it'll probably be like le Big Sleasy or le Ryan I guess I'll be facing them then! <3 Mmm hopefully next summer since we don't have as much study leave that I'd like it seems :'( That means I'll probably have to be like 9 months straight in Sweden without leaving! Aaaargh!
Awww it'd just have to get cut, 's so unmanageable, when craploads of mousse doesn't work, something's wrong  But I do admit, on good hair days, the hair is fluffy and nice and keeps out of my eyes <3. Now if I should try to dye it sometime...mmm. I don't like my eyes I reckon maybe they could be more gay/Russian if I had darker hair. <3 Mmm. So many beautiful eyes in Lund though...I'm a reeeal eye fetishist!

She did? She must be lovely then

Awwwww *hugs* Nah, get nostalgic as much as you can...'s just nice it is. And Antony, you can never have too much Antony <3

*Hugs back* Mmm I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully they won't care about feminine genitive plural ending palality correlations. <3

 We're even then.

I fear my parents will start to worry soon since all I've been listening to all day ('cept Orange Juice) is world music, like Nigerian highlife (Prince Nico and Rocafil Jazz bebeh yeah!) and the beeeeeatiful OST to the Thin Red Line by Hans Zimmer...so Western, yet so Solomon. It was crunchy good! We've got ryevita, but that has the texture and probably taste of the the things which old ladies use to line their bird cages with. Bleugh.

Err Sleasyjet, watch out for that. It only flies to Liverpool... you'd get a proper scally attack. reminds me of when we flew home from the Europe trip, we were complaining with a guy about how the flight had been delayed nearly 2 hours and they wouldn't let us on. To which he said "they're probably smashing the bottles into the seats so you know you've got your money's worth."

Do you not? Unlucky. See, another reason why English unis are great... month off at christmas... month off at easter... three months off in summer. Beeyoodiful. 9 months in Sweden without leaving though? Pfffft you don't know just how good you've got it :p

Dye it? DYE IT? Does this face ---> :( NOOOOOO :( you have just the most perfect hair and such blue eyes *is very jealous of them* Eyes are awesome. Except the jaundiced/bloodshot ones which so many Russian men seem to have.

*knuf terug* Nope.. especially not the first album. I never really appreciated it's full glory and amazingness until today <3 <3 Twiiii-iiiiiiiiiiii-liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

Haha. You should look for some Ivory Coast music. They do THE best. Aww so many nights in Africa Beach with dad and Rose watching the prostitutes shaking their bootays to that. Ahhh. At least we don't have any regulated breaks like in school, but maybe I can get some time off anyway <3. I'll just have to pass the tests I reckon.
If all I get for nutrition is calvados, armagnac and knäckebröd I might just survive those months. Might. Oh and ginger bread.

Awww fanks. They're just so...bland though :stunned: I want more shiney, turquoise glimmering ones...like...mmm... Wonder if contacts could do that? Mmm. Bloodshot eyes mix so well with dirty pink/green Russian tracksuits though, so that's alright <3

The first album is haaamazing!

Ivory Coast? Will be checked out, thanks! Anything to be hip in West Africa :D Mmm I so should do a mr Albarn and go to Mali to 'explore' some music :D Nooo Rhiân, let him speak like that! 'S proper cool that! He could always be a singer in my highlife band!

Haha yep. Actually, scouseland isn't that bad... there's the art gallery on the dochs and... there's... no that's it. S'no Manchester, that's for sure.

The Swedish uni system sounds mighty confusing. Ah well. Mmmm such a diet. Sounds more fun than the rice and museli one here. :indiff:

It's just... wow.

Yep, all the cool Ghanaian kids dig the Ivory Coast beats, because it has more to it apparently. Mali? S'rubbish there. All dry and full of locusts. Gold coast is where it's at babeh. *dances* Haha. I suppose it's ok whilst he's young, but when he starts school he's speaking properly. :indiff:

Berliner Zeitung size.. and changed the logo and content and.. it's weird. Not like the old one. :(

Haha the Mehrrrzeh. S'filthy that. Really filthy.

I'm not trusting you with any alcohol 'lessons' ever again sir. 'teach you to do things the Swedish way...' yeah, right. Hehe. Pfff rice is like 80p for 2kg. Mmmm.

Cause you can get the commie anthem tune off the Russian government website... Try LimeWire.. that thing is.. AMAZING. I got it today and now my computer is just brimming with Fred Åkerström and rare Rufus Wainwright stuff that I simply couldn't find before. <3

Aww, whoops.. The short one is quite good. It made interesting train reading.. but I don't like the way they refer to Twi as Akan... cause NO Ghanaian calls it Akan. Chwee. Chwee. Chwee. S'a lot of livres to depenser on that livre... I bet it's worth it though. Woooooow I can imagine! I was really heggcited to see that one today. Ahh I'll miss Blackpool library, and the pervy unemployed guy who's ALWAYS in there.

Haha you'd get some odd looks! obruni speaking Twi? *they laugh*

Nay, Thursday's the last day... :stunned: *gives scardey hugs back* I hope so! Russian will be awesome... if I can find this rhaddy book anywhere. I've been buying bathroom supplies today. 500ml of shampoo :D

I shall, I shall. Mmm.

I'd disown him. Unless he discovers something which makes him really rich.

They laugh? :( Right then, I'll be the background guitarist then and let the locals do the talking  Ofishiapa's so pretty though. Mmmm.

Last day today then? You have to say hello to Manchester for me, or at least scream over the roof tops:

I'm a little ruffian
Short and stout
Here is my spiked plank
Here is my gun

When I get all steamed up
Hear me shout:
Gi'z your brass
for I'm a lout!

Also, who could not enjoy Russian with that fahabulous dictionary! 'S just...mmm...I've actually thought of getting one since our Swedish-Russian is kuhrap! Just crap! Of course it doesn't have afflatus though, since it is afflatus. :D
Mmmm and half a litre of shampoo :D Showering's the best part of studenthood anyway...especially since it's getting awfully autumn here now, and just stepping into the shower after having the window open all night...mmm...

They do? I honestly wonder how hard it could be to just revide it a little, the version I saw was like the 7th, and still I spotted mistakes even in the index  It is big though, and that's what matters really. <3

I've called the person who occupied my room, turns out she hasn't lived there at all so I can move in at any time, and I'm meeting her today to get the key or something  That means maybe I can get my guitar and amp down sooooon! *dances* And mmmm a house-warming feast. I trust you'll be there.
And aargh a two hour lecture this evening, have to buy the ruddy book too! And aaaargh guess what, they forgot to order my calvados last week, so I have to wait another week! Aargh!

If you're, or I'm, not Museboard able tonight, hope to see you from Manchester  *huuuuuuugs*

Yeah, it's so odd for them to hear white people speak it. There's this most amazing German woman who looks as German as they come, and she's lived in Biruwa for about 30 years and she's fluent in Fante/Twi. It's amazing listening to her, cause if you were blind you'd actually think she was a Ghanaian. <3

I think it's the last day today. Only I can't remember if I told them Friday or Saturday, so I shall have to phone them at some point in the next half hour. that song is just wonderful!

The dictionary is actually the best one in the world. I was playing a game with my mum in the car on the way home, where she had to give me random words and I'd give her the Russian (Oh 'ow tragic :$ *loser*)

Ahh s'just wonderful that a freezing baffroom burra nice warm shower. Ahhhh.

Woo! Tu n'est pas un SDF anymore :D I shall pop round with some housewarming liqueurs.

The kitchen is a disgrace. We've run out of binbags so we're using a topshop carrier bag now. We're animals. Shameful it is. My capo's on the 1st fret at the moment. Ahh Rusholme. It's the most amazing place in Manchester, aside from a Saturday night when the Arabs try and lure you into their cars whilst you're waiting for a bus. Fallowfield's much nicer, even though there was a girl raped here on Saturday. :stunned:

Krasnojarsk

Aaaah Topshop bags, is there something you can't do with those things? :D

Shit that's scary! Take care of yourself dear, shout at people in Russian if you're not sure what to do. Or poor hot borshch on them (did you ever get around to do that? With saaaaalmon mmm it's nice)

The longer I listen to Field Mice, the more I realise I want to sit here listening to music all night and not translating some bloody Chekhov aaaaargh!

Jazzlady
11-10-2005, 09:52 PM
Nope!

Ahh. I like third, it's the only key I can seem to sing in.

It's really scary. I walked to the chemist last night to get cough sweets at like 9pm and there were police dogs and a police van outside Owen's Park (the main halls bit). I had NO idea of this rape till I read the MEN today.

Nah, I was too tired to make borsch, so I made potato wedges instead.

Ahhh such is life. Tonight I have successfully put off reading that god awful Terrence Wade Russian Grammar book and downloaded a load of Bob Dylan. <3 He's such a crap singer.

Mmmm potato wedges  Doesn't beat cous cous though :D

You lucky downloading bastuds! :'( You should listen to his Arthur McBride, the stereotype for someone trying to imitate your common vacuum cleaner

It's the Terence Wade thing I just ordered, don't call it boring :D I'm sure it's better than bloody Chekhov. Nope I really should get it done, otherwise Irina would slap me. Aaaargh I have to do history toooo :'( *dies*

I may just do that. I'm still wary of my flatmates hearing me play guitar though.

Nope, no guards, but security's got much tighter now, since they've not caught the bloke. The bit between O.P and Richmond Park where I live is the scaryest. It's really quiet. I will do :) *hugs back*

I have a bag of that stuff, but I need to buy lemons before I can cook owt good with it. That, and Cami doesn't like it...

We're banned from any like... p2p thing, but we've found a crafty iTunes loophole that the uni doesn't know about :D Thinking about it, that email I sent you probably wasn't a good idea, if you're not allowed to download :$

Oooh! It's not that boring.. it's just... really wordy. Which is annoying when you want to go for a drink. Awww you don't want a slap now, do you? *pats*

Don't worry bout the other ones hearing you  It's a student flat, they'll have to live with some music, anyway I'm sure they think it's great

Cami doesn't like it? I thought you did separate cooking? Or is it like a proper flat where everyone hangs out together all the time?

I'm never ever postponing Chekhov translating and then doing it for 2 hours at night time errr. Did you have a drink last night or did Terence lock the door and throw out the key?

Mmmmm party leader's debate

Jazzlady
12-10-2005, 03:05 PM

Ah we'll see.

Well between the four of us (the ones who get on, not the three wankers and the mysterious Nigerian girl) we all take it in turns to cook. S'nice that. Very civil.

Haha big mistake. Nope, no drinking, I'm on some god awful antibiotics for my gum/tooth thing which say under no circumstances must I drink. Grrr.

Or maybe not. Well you know. The annoying girl with a huge moustache in my corridor is a wanker. :D

Still on the drugs? Errr. That's awful! Can you get your drink on in the weekend at least? Mmm I think I'm going to see Laakso on Friday.

I had my last one this evening WOO now wait 48 hours and back to the OP bar for a Green Monster :D Oooh you lucky boy!

People who never leave their rooms are funny, I guess I'm one of them and I'm starting to annoy people, cause the only time I get out bar from school is when I'm clonking my way thrrough the corridor to wash my cous cous pot  "You know there are cupboards out here?" Fuckers :D

Green Monster...sounds...errr. I wonder if it's the same as Gröna Hissen, the famous student drink from the 70's mmm.

Don't you just love that stage? Really the worst thing is when you start thinking CHP or BOM as SNR and VOM...'s really annoying and I do it all the time. And yes, I admit it, everytime I get a case ending right I get all warm and fuzzy inside  Don't know if I got the sub-gender right though, since вещи are dead things, and I wonder whether the congruation follows in the adjective too. Err.

Jazzlady

Unfortunately, yes, yes she is. Hehe, I keep all my pans in my room now, since I'm sick of them being used and not washed up, so when it's my night to cook, I have to spend an hour scrubbing. :indiff:

They're... so wrong. cider, blue curaçao, orange reef and vodka. £3 a pint, but they get you so wasted...

Haha yep. I wrote my name with a P and an H today without thinking. Oooh, I have loads of adjective ending sheets. We did that today. Ahhh. Russian grammar. How I love it so. We also had a big bitch about Terry Wade today too :D

Subj: Two terrible things about university.

Mr. Golding,

I had to share these two atrocities with you.

1. I've seen Adam Law. He's not even tried to re-invent himself. (I
found
him completely inebriated at the Fresher's Ball with a dubious wet
patch
on his trousers)

2. (and this is far, far worse) I appear to be a member of the Tory

because they gave me an 'I love Boris' badge and promised a pub crawl.

Dear Rhian,

Nahh the classes were 12 till 2 :D easy! Walking home in heels though is not a wise thing at all.

Mmm dishes. I refuse to do any more washing up for the animals here. It's vile. VILE.

We're still chapter 1, and none of us have the book yet, oweing to the fact that Blackwells är skit and whilst they've ordered it, they haven't bothered to have it in stock yet. :indiff:

Heels? I can imagine! Sounds awfully classy though, and we all know classy's the only thing to be in 2005.

I see what you mean :indiff: Luckily I don't have to do it for another 4 weeks or so. Bastars.

Jävla skitblackwells :indiff: On a lighter note, my grammar and etymological dictionary have been sent off to me, so I can take some pictures of them and let you bathe in their reflected glory :D I'm so disappointed we didn't get any nice course book though, the ones who did the introduction course had 'Möde i Pedersborg' or something in Danish :D Ffwls.

HEAAAAAATHCLIIIIIIFF!

It was until I hit the Fallowfield end of Rusholme, then I was just limping so. Haha.

Ah lucky you! Our bin stinks, and my excuse is I'm far too ill to move it. :indiff:

Innit just. Wooo! The Tezza Wade one? Never take that to classes. It's really heavy. You should've done the Ab Initio here I tells you. Our book is ace and our group is so cool - so cool, infact, the Estonian, Liisa (who's done Russian for 4 years) is pretending she's far worse at it than she actually is, so she can stay in our class  :D

IT'S MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Krasnojarsk
17-10-2005, 02:13 PM
Awwww you poor thing, you should wrap your feet in discarded newspapers and wet faded photographs of the war like all the Russians do  No pain guaranteed

'S a good excuse that, I'm always coughing so as to get an excuse not to watch TV with the 'tache lady and go play guitar in my room instead  "Oh I'm always sick in the winter and oh I have so much to do and OH I hate your dialect!" Errr.

Yup Tezza Wazza Wademeister, we have the Swedish Wikland though which is pretty crap, but at least it doesn't have examples with something something 'London'. Errrr. Should be Leningrad, like our translation exercises  Liisa sounds fab! :D Be happy that you have a cooool group, mmmm. Are most people doing Russian only for a short time, or do they have 4 years planned or something?

Arrrrgh just got my rent check and I've bought books for like 1100 kr which I haven't peyd for yet! Oh dear.

BECAUSE THE NIGHT BELOOONGS TO UUUUUS! Mmm.

Jazzlady
17-10-2005, 02:21 PM
Haha that's so unsafe though. I walked home (I waked home alooooone) from the Freshers' Ball barefoot (cause I was hammered) and there is SO much broken glass everywhere in Rush'm.

TV?! Wow. We don't have TV. Savour it, watch it with 'tache lady.

Haha! Brilliant! Liisa's brilliant. She loves drunk Finns as much as I do <3 We're all doing a bachelors, so we have 4 years ahead of us (with the compulsary year in Petrograd :D)

Haha tell me about it. My rent's due on the 21st, and I've spent £100 on clothes.. £40 on gig tickets.. and oh dear.

http://www.uznay-prezidenta.ru/ :D

Mmm Blåbär Honung

Errrr I you met her you'd know. :D TV is vile anyway.

Hahaha, gotta love the Estonians :D It's strange how it's hard to explain why drunken Finns are great, but Swedes are not. 'S odd that. Mmmm Petrograd, you're so lucky. I've been thinking about going someplace instead of the C or D course, not sure yet...might be better from a learning point of view instead of being stuck in some bland uni in Tweedun really.

Noooo! Thats sounds scary, though clothes are so worth it! And, what gig?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's the best thing I've seen all year!

What's Blåbär Honung? Mmmm a Blåbär Honung body butter would be gleeeeat! *Waves hand in front of face* Mmmm I reek of strawberry :D

Yes, it is vile, but you miss it. You really do.

Salt of the earth are those Estonians. Haha, Swedes are great in whatever state! Mmmmhmhmh. You should come to Manchester. You seriously would adore the Russian department here. It's so small, so friendly and sooo interesting! Especially Rachel. *admires her so much*

Innit just! Too right! Tweed skirts are the new black <3

Another one of Rachel's specials. We were doing Folklore and Fakelore today, she said it's no different to the soviet folklore. She's so right.

It's some weird (yet delicious) pink goo I bought for my mum in Stockholm, then stole at the weekend. Mmmmmmm.

I dooooo want to come! It'd be great if I could fly over in the summer or something, we'll see. Our Russian department is really small and cozy too, smelling of rotten books and a huge lovely garden, but soon they're moving to some main Humanist building, 's crap. I'd lurve to pay my respects to Rachel too

Tweed skirts? Mmmmmmmmm sounds fabulous! *Wishes he wasn't stuck in boydom*

It's horrible. Really damn scary. So in your infinate wisdom you stand at bus stops where there are people.. but then they're even worse. *cries* HOWEVER, the arabs do love to give me free things here. I can't complain. *sees future as opressed Muslim housewife in the M14 postcode area*

You should do! Budget airlines <3 Although I won't be in Manchester over the summer... or if I am, I'll be homeless :'( Aww, we're in the humanist building, but it's the west wing, where no-one ever goes. Near the 'Dutch studies' bit. (Dutch studies actually being a broom cupboard where Prof. Durrell keeps his tea)

H&M too  so flouncy.. and itchy.

I hope to god it's not lotion, I've been having spoonfulls of it... and it's the only thing which seems to be easing my cough... haha I'd laugh if it is lotion. It's just a pink goo.

Dutch studies seems great, I'll have to pay that a visit too  Mmm maybe I could do a guest appearance at the Nordic Society too :D Or some Swedish class if there are any in Manc

Your room is swish! Swedish students definately have a better standard of living.. I mean.. look at your laminate floor! Much better than this university regulation poo brown carpet. The booze shelf is simply fabulous  But you mean to say there's still liquid in that Zurbrówka bottle?

Also, LIPTONS? That tea tastes like armpits. Infact, even though it's a British brand, they don't sell it here. I really must send you some Twinings/PG. A better breed of tea.

Oooh, lots of things! From the mild Korma to the death trap put your toilet roll in the freezer Vindaloo. Mmm. Whack it with a bowl of rice, some naan and popperbombs and you've got yourself a 'curry' and Britain's most popular dish :D Rusholme Currys are some of the best in England. <3 <3 God, you'd love the Manchester kebabs... I found the best one the other week. £2 for a massive kebab and a drink. Proper student food.

Mmm. Not as bad as the one we had at 6am in freshers' week though. That wasn't fun.

Bastards. Bar couscous :D

:indiff: Morning fire alarms err.

Isnit great when you finally find out exactly how to pronounce words? 'S like epiphanies it is! Like all the assimilations in Russian for example where you instead of шесть часов (6 o'clock) almost say шистщисов :D Ooh the trapezoid is English though, just pointing out the 'errr'-ness in it. :indiff:

Mmmm 1991 Russian National Anthem, it's godly! Want it?

Jazzlady

Ahhh. Oooh that is quite cheap. I'm yet to check out the Falafel restaurants in Rusholme, since you can buy them in Sainsburys for cheap. Or make them for cheaper. Mmmm.

Great wakeup call. Now if they go off, I tend to just feel the floor/back of my door. If it's hot, I get out, if it's cold (which is usually the case) I just roll over and try to block out the noise :D One day I'll burn to death...

Yes! Mmmm. Gah I hate ть I mean, the sound is great... just the amount of times we've had to say it. Which reminds me... Russian oral at 12 and I've not slept at all bwehehehe.

Just came back from Topshop, didn't buy anything thank God, the size 14 shirt didn't fit me :$ Way too big, even if I bought a 14 last week  Also 2 body butters from Body Shop, papaya and passion fruit for 298 spänn. Errr. And I need to buy guitar strings too! :'(

Sent! Oh yes fank you verr much!
Oh my god I've been awake for 28 hours and a bit. My arms are numb.

Yes, the really stupid t. Grr *so tired* Brrr Swedish TopShop. Rhabbish! AH! I have that very Papaya one! But you should've done the travel sized ones! You can get 4 small ones (which last ages) for the price of 2 big ones, so you get more smell variety. Still, excellent choices there dear! Be warned about the papaya one, it stings a bit after leg shaving.

It's always hit and miss with topshop sizes. Sometimes, I'll be a 10 (on rare, rare, rare days) then sometimes an 18 (which is horrific and for the obese.)

I shall send it in a mo. Until then, oggle the delights of....

NACHALA! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v13/jazzlady/IMG_0994.jpg) after 6 weeks wait, it FINALLY arrives!

Awwww! Insomnia's the worst thing ever! Warm milk doesn't work? Or tea? Mmm.

Swedish TopShop is rhâbbish yes, but at least we don't get Swedish Topman here in Lund, which is possibly worse :indiff:
Ooh they didn't have the other sizes, and there weren't really any others I fancied...maybe coconut, but that was a bit plastic...now my guitar's neck smells of papaya/passion fruit and my pick tastes like rat poison! :D Stings after leg shaving you say? I'd have to use me strawberry one then

Innit just? 'S really strange it is. They had a really pretty top there, but only in 8,10 or 14! :'(

Mmmmmsssssovyetski sayuuuuz! Fanks dear! *hugs* The '91 does sound like Oh Canada yes  Errrr. But better. The bass part of it sounds a bit like Star Spangled Banner too.

Ooooh Nachala, just look at those two gay guys! Oh dear. Is it exciting?
