1) the lyric in the song "everybody wants to know her name" sounds likeits benn used athousand times bofre in that exact same tone and key.
2) very very basic guitar playing
3) there is not one original feature about them
4) the song is singing about sooz from as if
5) and i just find them boring

but at the time Busted were something innovative and fun, they filled a gap in the market, and you cannot deny that they have been a marketing success, maybe they are aimed a tthe younger generation, but they have been lapped up. I to be honest would like to see one day Busted as they mature try to become more serious established performers, okay, so they aren't *amazing* on their instruments, but most bands aren't they when stay out, they get better as they learn as they go, yes their songwriting is quite well acclaimed, and if they start to put this to a more seroiusly effort, maybe they could become established as more serious as they mature...

Actually, I was listening to the radio the other day and I heard a song which wasn't too bad. Imagine my horror when it turned out to be Busted (think the song was 3am or summat). TBH, if they cut all ties with their Smash Hits-image and struck out on their own they might not do too badly. They're obviously fans of decent rock music, but constricted by their image and their PR people. Course, they'll never do it because by continuing to make crap music that 11 year-old girls love they'll make millions and millions.

The only good thing about the Thunderbirds "song" is that from now on, no Busted fan can effectively argue that they're a serious band. :D

from reading interviews with them busted do seem like decent guys who don't care about the 'fame' thing-charlie especally seems to really hate everything about it apart from the performing.

mcfly seem to maybe be able to play instruments better than busted, but they're so similar that i'm starting to not be able to hear the difference between them, cos one of the mcfly guys sounds so like one of busted, then you've got the one who looks like one out of busted, aaargh, much confusement!!!!

They were both good when I saw them (no doubt I'll be persecuted for that one), and I have great photographs of Matty up close. Wow. It just get to me sometimes when its seen that if you like Busted, or anything like that then you can't also like the alternative scene...I quite happily like both. In fairness I'm not as passionate about Busted as I am about certain 'alternative' bands, but Busted's music is nice, lighthearted, enjoyable music and it makes me happy (as I keep saying). It should be taken as it is- lighthearted. They weren't manufactured, but I one main flaw is that their stylists do dress them like wannabe punks, which is making the 'alternatve' scene more mainstream. But personally I'd rather listen to Busted than some crappy little pop punk band than take themseleves so bloody seriously...I've rambled far too much.

God i fucking HATE their fans. I hate most bands fans but I HATE MCFLY FANS.

Ok. I'm 18. I tend not to listen to their records nor follow them on TV or anything (since, about the age of 15-16 i think). I heard a song of their new album and bought a ticket to see them at wembley arena in my obsessive OMG GIG LETS GO (seriously, it was a bad problem). It was after work and i nearly didnt go, but it was good. I have to say i like the guys. They make me laugh (somehow). The sort of people i could do with at work or college (who laughs at girls? girls are NOT funny.)

I went to see them again in the hope of the same after feeling, only it was standing AND MY GOD THE FUCKING QUEUE. I have never been so sick of young female voices, and a particular group of fucking little retards using eyeliner to draw on each others cheeks I <3 MCFLY and each one with one of the band member's names.

I waited afterwards to meet em (in hope of a smile or a laugh before returning to my mundane depressive life til the next gig) but it was like a fucking High School Musical Premiere or something. Screaming and what... a ten year old band that no one knows... arg. I walked off.

Fucking.... GIRLS HATE THEM. If i had met them, i wanted to ask if their fans ever annoy them. I mean... seriously? I would probably kill myself violently live on the web just to piss them off if i had a fan base like that.

AND THE SUPPORT some fucking reality winner, and various people around me are like "OMG HE'S SOO CUUUUTE" (which he wasnt i might add. I forgot what he looked like once he went offstage...) god... i wish i was more agressive so i could actually punch some of these people in the face.

Really, all they care about is a cute face, wanting to see them topless and screaming! FFS THE SCREAMING. In an interview, the woman atually asked if their fans grew or if it was a new wave of 14 year olds. Yup. that's about it.

I saw them support Busted when *I* myself was about 14. I drifted from them for a few years. Thats what happens. Thats why Busted didnt last. But granted at least McFly have matured a bit, especially in comparison to Busted. I'm not saying theyre amazing or specially talented, i admit, i only like them cos they're "fun" and part of me needs that, however pissed off and low i get.

Forget male only gigs, try an 18+ only gig. PLEASE....
I must have been the only one getting violent imagery iin my head at that mcfly gig of mutilating the people around me.
