Aloud started selling them at about 8:56, so I snuck in there. Cannot believe that standing is sold out already, wtf?
Just hope nothing ballses up with the payment now, as I won't know as I'm off to Soni at midday.

Rammstein's official site calls this a general pre-sale though.
Makes no real mention of more tickets going on sale though?

It's probably lost in translation somewhere, they could be meaning tickets going on sale in advance of the gig?

Glad you want to get into Rammstein offandonagain. What did you think of 'Sonne'? It's one of my favourites :D. The one thing you should know about Ramm is that you don't have to understand the lyrics to enjoy it. Although if you do follow the translation, you'll be amazed how quickly you do pick it up.
The first Ramm song I heard was 'Ich Will' [translation = I Will] ;)]. I must have listen to that song over 50 times before started listening to any other tracks . Give these links a listen and see what you think.

Sehnsucht is excellent, i really liked it when I first got into them (and I still do now). Reise, Reise is also awesome, but I love all of their albums pretty much, so I'm not the one to speak. (Apart from Rosenrot. Rosenrot has only a couple of good songs.)
Songs I'd recommend are: Tier, Engel, Amerika, Mann Gegen Mann, Rosenrot, Du hast, Pussy, Ich Tu Dir Weh.....

They're playing in my town ON MY BIRTHDAY.
The first time in a decade seeing them, and...yeah.

yeah, will be at the O2.
And I was pretty wrong about the setlist for this tour, it kicks all kinds of ass, if the album was the best of the career ie. singles then the setlist is the best live stuff mashed together.

Last night's gig was incredible, easily one of the best I've been to. The tour setlist is fantastic. They have even less variety than Muse though as it's the exact same setlist at every gig. To be honest though that's understandable as it's probably much easier to be doing certain highly dangerous stunts at the same time each night.
The pyrotechnics were face-meltingly good.
We spotted Till at the side of the stage just before the support band Deathstars (who were quite decent) came on. It's amazing how different he looks off stage than on it.

When I was at a Rammstein gig a while ago, I was outside of the arena when the support were playing. Then when the intro for Rammstein started, I ran for the entrance and ignored the guards who were trying to keep people from using that entrance. I didn't understand why until a few seconds later, when the actual band came going in my direction. If I hadn't hurried to get out of their way, Till had certainly walked right through me

And I've spent most of my time since then with various people who saw Rammstein including my mate from uni who was backstage after the gig and hung out with the drummer which kinda rubs it in a little bit. That has been out of choice though, if I didn't spend time with these people I'd have been locked in my room moping all weekend which wouldn't have been good.
I'm sure I'll have another chance to see them sooner or later, but all I've heard about this tour is how insanely good it's been, ah well. With the amount of gigs I've been to I was bound to lose a ticket eventually, just had to be a Ģ50 for a band I've never seen before at a time when I didn't have enough money to go and see Mr. Tout to get another one.

It was a great gig, very hot (at the barrier) and very loud.
Here's a few of my pictures from the Manchester MEN gig;

Not into a lot of their music, but holy shit do they know how to put on a show.

Could barely hear the vocals for the first few songs.
Also the intro was far better the last time they played in Manchester (2010 maybe?). Crowd was far better this time around though.
Did they play Mutter a step down or something? Shame because the guitar sounds brilliant on record.
Oh, liked the centre stage.

As are yours. The flame one you you took during Feuer Frei is amazing. I think I was far too close to the flames to get a decent shot, as most of mine just show the flames as white.
Still though, it was a great little Ramm tour. I just hope this isn't the last :(.

^^^ I was on the left side of the barrier by Paul. Du Haust was a good song live by I was more blown away by how Mein Teil sounded. I love a good marching song ;).

This must have been his first time seeing them live then. His other comment must have been after watching YouTube clips or something.

Haha, someone's been made to eat their (deleted) words!
I love how I've seen tweets from the likes of Paul Mullen (Yourcodenameis:milo, The Automatic, Young Legionnaire) and Mike Vennart (Oceansize, Biffy) saying how good they thought Rammstein's show was.

Yeah it's always good to hear people speaking of how amazing they are live.
I keep comparing Ramm and Muse. Yes Ramm have the stage performance down to a T, but I think Muse have the better sound quality. But they both share the same audience involvement, i.e. not a great deal of. Although Till does like to shower the audience with his man juice and let the audience sing parts of 'Du Hast', 'Links 2,3,4' and 'Pussy' so on.

Yeah could hardly hear the vocals for some of the songs of the Rammstein gig. But at least Rammstein's stage doesn't look cheap and tacky like muse's pyramid and UFO *cringes*

I thought the pyramid was decent! The UFO and B Stage were tacky though yeah
But I guess the pyramid does look a lot more 'tacky' when compared to Rammstein's stage

God, I hope so. I can't really compare Rammsteins and Muses' live performances because it's a different style of music, and it depends on the person listening/watching it but I will always prefer Rammstein... Fire will never be tacky. :p

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just saw these guys for the first time in Worcester, MA last night... Holy crap! :stunned: Most epic live show I've ever seen! SO FUN (even though I got jostled around and stomped on like crazy :p ) I'm not a huge fan, but my boyfriend is, and he started getting me into them a few months ago. Some songs are a but "too much" for me XD But over-all, their music is pretty good. Their live show, on the other hand, is freaking PHENOMENAL (as I'm sure most people in here know XD)
Anyway, we were crazy and hung around for 3 hours after the show hoping to get lucky ;) It paid off, because we met Richard and Till  We weren't allowed to take pics with them, but we got them to sign our tix, and a stage hand gave one of the guys waiting with us Till's mic stand that he destroyed during the show. :D It was covered in duct tape, and the guy ripped off pieces for everyone, so I put a piece on my ticket :p

Richard was in a hurry (and there were around 12 of us when he came out), but when Till came out, there was just five of us, so we had a little chat with him. The best part was when we said we were happy that they had finally come back to New England after so long and he goes "Well, we weren't supposed to come back, you know. Because of..." *mimes wearing handcuffs* <3 (They were arrested the last time they played in MA back in 1999 because of a *ahem* graphic stunt on stage XD)
Anyway, it was amazing :D
