Love them! :D One of my top 3 fave bands in the '90s. Great songs = 3 Days, Summertime Rolls, and Jane Says. But I love all the songs on the first two CDs. Then there was that spinoff band, Porno for Pyros that did that song We'd Make Great Pets. Well, wasn't crazy about that CD. Haven't heard Strays yet. Is it like "their old stuff"?

Nah, I'd say Strays is more modern alternative, heavier stuff. But also kind of pop-orientated. One of the songs is the theme to HBO's Entourage.

Since my previous post I checked out Strays at the library. I think it's pretty good actually. But I don't enjoy them listening to them as much as I used to because really they all seem to hate each other. When I was obsessed with their early albums, there was no internet, so I didn't actually know much about them. I dunno why a band's personality affects how much I like them, but it does. I can't listen to Hole either anymore because Courtney Love is such a douche.

It's mainly Perry's fault...he wanted 60% of royalties/profit from the first album instead of dividing it up evenly...and the label went with him.

Anyone else excited about seeing Jane's at Reading? I've been a fan for 23 years and I've never seen them live.

I didn't realise they were actually writing an album after the NIN/JA tour until I saw they are headlining one of the stages at the Reading Festival. Then later saw a article pop up in Main Muse about how they have supposedly been inspired to have soem gothic and space-rock elements from Muse.

Luckily they havent been inspired by latter muse albums judging from this track.

I really liked this. I'm so looking forward to seeing them at Reading. I keep having dreams about turning up too late and missing them. I guess that's what happens when you wait 23 years to see a band live

BUMp!

The album is streaming on iTunes if you want to check it out. Still hugely gutted they had to pull out of Reading so last minute.

I was so pissed off, you wouldn't believe. I've been a fan for 20 years and never seen them live. I was so excited and then Dave Navarro came onstage and said they weren't playing and I thought he was joking. But no :(
