New NIN Dates

23 Feb 2005 After two sold out London shows next month, Nine Inch Nails will hit the UK this summer for a full tour.

Dates are as follows:

July
04 Brixton Academy
07 Glasgow Barrowland
08 Birmingham Academy
10 Manchester Apollo

Tickets go on sale Wednesday 2nd March.

The London date in July is one day before my birthday,so it would of been a lovely birthday present !. Totally no chance of me getting a July ticket, since I will be at work at 4pm on Weds.

Yep, on the Downward Spiral tour. That may have been at Brixton too, I can't remember. That was such an ace gig, missiles flying everywhere and the atmosphere was just sooo sleazy and orgasmic. :D

I was at that same gig, but I didn't know my friend at the time. I remember Trent leaning donw to people and thinking "lucky bastards".

I remember the keyboards on springs and Trent throwing a keyboard at the end. Aww.

The quality of the track is supposed to be bad though, so i dont really know if its worth downloading, you can hardly hear the song over the crackling and fuzz...

Got back from Astoria gig, was most excellent gig !. Dresden Dolls were the support, they were ok did a cover of War Pigs,which was interesting with just piano, vocals and drums. Nine Inch Nails came on at about 8.40, started with 2 new songs, think the first one was All The Love In The World then I think Wish, can't remember the exact order but they played March of the Pigs, Piggy, Terrible Lie,Hurt, Gave Up, Closer (which was fantastic and had a bit of I think Ring Finger in the middle !), Even Deeper (which Trent said was his favourite song off The Fragile, but the one which no one else likes),3 more new songs, With Teeth, Starfuckers Inc.,The Hand That Feeds and Head Like A Hole. Finshed quite early at 10pm think most people thought it would finish at 10.30 or 11pm. Still nice to see NIN back after 6 years and Trent looks well fit !!! :p

Who went on the last night on Thursday ?. I am hearing they played a different set list which included The Wretched and Reptile and The Big Come Down .. true ?

I went on thursday!

Almost died....again(...I didn't learn from my Megadeth experience silly me...)

Yes different setlist, with the wretched, reptile and the big come down. Loved it when they did the big come down, most tingly satisfying...Loved bite the hand that feeds, a v catchy track.

I went with mates who had been to the weds night before and watched from the balcony thing, apprently they were more mental on that weds and the guitarist went crazy and threw a mic that went flying.

Thursday seemed a little tone down, I mean what the band were doing anyway - the crowd were crazy, I had a good position nr the front byt got shoved back with one of my mates while my other mate managed to wiggle by the barrier. I got a good amount of squishing and being punched am sorta surprised and disappointed that I've came out with not bruises.

Going to see them at birmingham academy, will be wise and watch from the railing upstairs with a camera and try and take some good shots.

Overall absolutely fantastic in its own I almost died, and got really hot and sweaty and battered to death king of way...

edit: the dresdon dolls were very good, imaculate how tight they played and what the created in just a two piece band. The drummer was so stylish and the way he could sound and silent a cymbol in time was amazing. I loved the sort of theatrical dynamics between the two a band members with the facial expressions and such. And yes the cover they did was pretty good.

I would have loved to gone on the Wednesday with the crazy guitarist :D the wtreched kicked ass, and esp the big come down :happy:

Ive heard 4 of the new songs when i seen them live in London Astoria. Judging by the songs ive heard the album is going to be very good indeed. :D

Yep, that was the last thing my friend and I heard from them. There is plenty of time for them to arrive yet, so we should all be ok.

I think they may come Recorded Delivery from Seetickets, so someone has to sign for them. They said my Reading ticket would.

Hmm most my tickets have been via post without need for signing, it's only if it's a few days before the event and it's rushed out that you have to sign for them. That's what happened to my V ticket last year.

Fingers crossed that it turns out in good time

Honestly, when I saw them during the Downward Spiral tour it was just brilliant. I can't even begin to describe the atmosphere in the crowd, and I was pretty much at the back. A friend of mine was right up the front, and says to this day that it was one of the best gigs he has ever been too.

My Media Player won't recognise the CD though, even when you manually search the database and tell it what CD it is. It refuses to update my library details. :rolleyes:
