Well it's each to their own at the end of the day I guess. It's the same with all bands though, the 'older' fans want the music to stay the same. That bores me, personally, and I prefer it when artists, like Trent, try something new and different. Oddly enough I loathe Only with a passion but really like Discipline. :LOL:

On the whole I think The Slip is very good, but I really don't like Corona Radiata (and not just because it makes me think of vagina dentata :stunned:). I'm not a fan of the more ambient instrumental stuff at all, though to be fair it does pick up a bit towards the end.

I've only listened once so far but the tracks that really stood out were 1,000,000, Letting You and Head Down.

Considering what tracks you seemed to like off The Downward Spiral, I reckon you might get something like The Fragile or Year Zero, which would take some people a few listens. But yes, The Fragile is a sure-fire must.

Firstly, download The Slip, since it's free and all that. I think it's a decent representation of what Trent has done since With Teeth.

As for other songs before With Teeth, I would recommend the live album they have out - a good mix of all the four previous albums.

Same here. Although it will be diffucult to top the Reading performance. That was the best ever for me and I've been fortunate enough to see some awesome bands.

Was thinking the other day though about all the NIN tours. If you could see any tour from NIN's history what would it be and why? For me it would either be the Fragile 1.0/2.0 because The Fragile is my favourite NIN album and the support was A Perfect Circle. Plus I want to see La Mer played live. Or I would pick the tour with David Bowie. Trent and Bowie doing a duet of Hurt...Awesome...

I've just checked Play.com and they've pushed it back too. Must be a delay.

That's a very good question. Personally, I would have thought no but you never know. All I want anyway is just a physical copy of the CD so I'm just thinking at the moment that I'd be lucky to get the special edition, given the vague item description by Amazon.

There are only two versions being sold. The CD version and the vinyl version. The CD is limited to 250,000 copies world wide but the vinyl is just being sold as normal as far as I know.
